It's very sad that the group who pretending for fighting for Regional autonomy will kick against Local autonomy, The local government is people's government, when the local would enjoy the devidence of democracy under the state marginalization, people suffer a lots in the hand of state governors.
when last the Local people had since see the governor, minister, senator, reps member talk less of President!
but Our local council chairmen, councilors and Supervisors were living with in us, we see them all the times they were our children voted in office for our service.
Afenifere must go and settle their grievances or their differences with Hausa/fulani else where but play politic with Local people interest would cost them dearly, it's not our fault if Baba falae was kidnap by herdsmen!
Land act bill is different from Local government bill autonomy so they must stop this drama!
If by any chance the Local government autonomy bill failed in state Assembly Afenifere is in big trouble, if the group didn't know the important of Local government because they sit and control the state government for their own selfish interest, their opportunity had lost forever.
Afenifere cannot take our right and mustn't take the Local people for granted, if they do it will consumed them!
We know they want regional government because of their own interest as the state interest is no longer sufficient for them.
Local government is Local people government! and her autonomy is Local people autonomy!
We want to be free from state and Afenifere cannot stop that unless it's want trouble.

They went to court to upturn the Hangroove Agreement but lost

They went to Appeal Court but lost

They went to Supreme Court same result...

They went to African Court and was compensated with annual payment.

In the Appeal they claimed that all territories regarding PHC are Ikwerre but lost all.

Though the Ijaws (Okrika) have legal backing we still believe in brotherhood and oneness.
