Politics › Re: Calling Christians To Vote For Buhari In 2015 by ndcide(m): 4:18pm On Oct 25, 2014
nuclearboy:
He's a personal friend and I promise you he will NOT respond (at least not coherently). He will retort with sweeping grandiose condemnation statements like "he is a relic" etc...... and it is so sad!

People forget you cannot vote for someone who isn't on the ballot and thus, the choice is limited to Buhari versus Jonathan. Moving along, I will show you how unreasonable hatred can make the otherwise "educated"

Nigerias' total annual budget in 1977, was 1.1 Billion naira. At this time, a Dollar exchanged for 79 kobo (Naira was Stronger). It was in the same year Kunle insists Buhari stole 2.8billion. Interestingly, even Saudi Arabia didn't earn 2 billion dollars in 1977. But Kunle insists 2.8 billion was stolen. Further, Nigerias total debt payment under same Buhari in 1984 when he was Head of State, was 50 million dollars!!!! So Buhari stole 3 budgets of Nigeria, according to "Pastor-Kun", at a time when we were paying 50 million Dollars as annual debt.

See how hatred can make one look foolish? Yet let him return here and unable to stand against these, he will ignore and move to 53 suitcases. After that, to Islam..... and then to the execution of 3 drug pushers and finally "he is old" and "knows nothing about computers in 2014".

So I advice you to not hold your breath expecting a decent rubbing of minds. It's like you telling Shekau to allow Oby Ezekwesili to teach him about decency - DOA.

But at least, his hatred (though a "Christian"wink may have served a purpose - one or two thinking people will read this post and know the truth about the 2.8 billion Dollar lie.
BUT YOU BELIEVE $25 BILLION was stolen by GEJ as alleged by SLS.

some of you don't know what is happening in Nigeria.

The original write up was way to simplistic. only simpletons will take it to the bank.

The only reason we are having this kind of persons challenging the president in this election, is because.

They want power to return to the north. finish.

Unfortunately, those who could see far have told me, That they can't defeat GEJ.

I know the persons I've asked, and I believe them.

Career › Re: The Nigerian Engineer And The Oil/Gas Career Mentality by ndcide(m):
@op,

you should know that the oil and gas sector seem to be the only truly functioning engineering sector. close to it, is IT and telecom. the power sector has not woken up as it should. We know the government is trying to do something in the power and automotive sectors hopefully things will change.

In career, there must be rewards. I mean financial rewards. remove the financial reward in oil and gas and it'll start crawling. in career people experience burnouts; the finance keeps you going. Money motivates. Our systems looks down on engineering jobs. how many engineers really earn well. In my organization, we have lots of incompetent folks in the office doing nothing, but earn better than the engineers. some are giving official cars yet the engineer who do the core jobs are not well compensated. Again, money is a motivator. Remove the money in politics and see people uninterested.

put money in a sector and tell me if it wouldn't do well with committed individuals. I've seen a Germany trained Nigerian engineer going into buying and supplies. He needs to pay his bills. You can't pay HR officer 120k and pay and engineer 60k in what supposed to be an engineering organization.

guy think am na......

I'd rather go into the oil and gas. That's the sector that values engineers.

You can't be talking of technology advancement when the careers is not rewarding financially.

Put money in palm wine tapping, and that will be the biggest profession in the world, with daily research and innovations in it.

Can we all note that those who create discussion topics like this are the ones dividing the country and not the FG as some would want. us to believe.

I am in the SW and will vote here. I will vote based on my conviction and interest. I know I'm not part of the block vote calculations of the @Op and his ilks.

Interestingly, there are many more like me.

Those who hold strongly the opinions of the Op, believe in electoral malpractice. no matter how witty they may sound. Guess what, when you talk about electoral malpractice, The look the other side and pontificate. That's why I don't take them serious.

Falana is wrong to isolate the private jet in his CAMA analogy. Churches own schools, football clubs, event centres etc. so saying the church can't lease its jet is being economical with the truth. He may be a SAN. but objectivity has nothing yo do with your title.

Politics › Re: Playing Politics With Pastor Oritsejafor by ndcide(m): 2:16pm On Sep 28, 2014
MeAboki: @OP:

My friend, the duty of the opposition, anywhere in the world, is to criticise the government; this sustained pressure is what keeps the govt. on its toes and forces it to do the right thing (in order to avoid being made to look bad in the eyes of the general public, who elected it) - and it is a good thing for democracy.

Therefore, accusing APC for doing their work is quite needless and myopic on your part.

Pastor Oritsejafor, as a man of God and leader of CAN rather than remain within the ambit of his calling had decided to enter and influence politics of the country (in a manner causing embarrassment to many Christians that led even Catholics to break away from the association).
By publicly aligning himself with the ruling party (PDP) and with the president, pastor Oritsejafor has therefore bared himself open legitimate scrutiny and treatment as any other politician in the land, in addition to the expected moral standards of a man of God that he claims to be.

Even if the govt (or more accurately his political ally, Jonathan) has exonerated him; he definitely hasn't by the general public (who are still demanding for answers) and certainly not by the SA government whose laws on money laundering and arms purchase were flouted by the FG using his aircraft; because there are still unresolved questions he needs to clarify; among them breaking of the law by sub-leasing his privately registered aircraft - which is illegal in Nigeria (why then is the man of God engaged in crime?)

Note that your baseless counter accusation against the opposition would not launder the already damaged image of pastor Oritsejafor, especially as the loudest descenting voices are from his own Christian flock - or are you suggesting that all those Christian folks condemning his wrong doing are members of the opposition?
@meAboki, You are being intelligent by half. Can you state the duties of the CAN President and honestly state of he has not done any. Ayo remains the most visible CAN president ever. If not for the politics of hate brewed by the haters of GEJ what exactly did pastor Ayo do that's wrong. Yes he supports GEJ , is that bad? Ayo was everywhere in the north shouting that they should stop killing Christians ,what support did he get from those criticising him. Ayo out of good will never wanted the present govt to fail inspite of the obvious challenges. he did his best.

Those against him are doing so to get at the president and to advance their political interest.

on the issue of his jet, he has cleared the air. those who don't like him can spin it the way they like.

Must every one be against GEJ? Some just hated him because he got a jet. what a shame.

Those who are against him for having a jet, yet they own vehicles worth millions are hypocritical. they never sold their cars and gave the money to the poor.

politics of hate will not do us any good.
Culture › Re: Why Is Criticism Easier Than Compliment? by ndcide(m): 8:40am On Sep 28, 2014
Those who always critcise have a negative attitude in life. they come on forums like this, call on radio stations especially nigeria info; and its all about criticism. That's how they criticise their wives children and almost every thing about their lives. They see nothing positive. football, election result, president speaks, president didn't speak, it rains, it didn't rain. their remarks is all negativity. I run from such people.

I am a positive person.

On a final note, GEJ can't lose 2015 election. no matter who goes against him. this was revealed to me in 2012. its beyond mortal comprehension.
Politics › Re: $9.3m: APC Reps Walk Out During House Debate by ndcide(m): 7:22pm On Sep 23, 2014
Ayed44: the so-called protest should have taken place before d voice vote. The APC members shouldn't have participated in the voice vote in d first place. They should have staged a walk-out before d vote was conducted. This is the same mistake some governors made during the NGF election, when they were trying to walk out after they participated in d voting and lost to Amaechi. U can't participate in an election and walk out because the result does not favor u. APC should grow up and be more responsible.
GBAM!

this is what the sentimental ones fail to realise.
Politics › Re: $9.3m: APC Reps Walk Out During House Debate by ndcide(m):
can this happen in our Alausa legislative house?

unfortunately it can't.

I remember when APC told us that they'll block the passage of the budget some times back. They said that because they felt they had a majority.

Let's be honest these guys are politicians and they'll always play politics game. my point is APC will do the same if they had the opportunity. Its not an APC or PDP thing.

again can this happen in alausa? No

Good one to oshomole if this is true. but he can not get the 2015 presidency ticket in APC. the thing holding political participation in the party is because a northerner will emerge as its candidate for president. the emergence of a southerner will scatter the party.

This is the truth.

Will is indicative. Stating a FACT.

Would is subjunctive. Stating thoughts or beliefs, or hypothetical statements.
I would like to visit.

It makes me twitch inwardly whenever I see or hear it.

In fact Atiku has more political connection across Nigeria than any of them. l know of top PDP men down south that are soooo close to Atiku.
