tivta: Could this be the same jet I saw on friday flying around the airport aimlessly? The colour is grey with a star on its tail, I swear when I saw this plane flying aimlessly for close to 30mins I was dead scared. Someone should pls list out the possible damage this plane can cause so that we all can be prepared to say our last prayer or run. This is not serious anymore it is deadly. If it means Johnathan should step down for peace to rain pls let him do so, he is playing politics with peoples lives oh. Am dead scared right now.
I DON'T GET YOU PLEASE.

if gej wants to step down it should not be because of boko haram. If that happens, peace may elude the country. be honest if truly this jet gets missing doesn't that show you that there is a strong conspiracy?

what if you were GEJ? just put yourself in his position now. forget party sentiments. be honest. no body likes these drama.

finditng: Well, yeah ryt......I guess we should all just really have side chicks and guys.....dt way no-one owes no-one any exclusivenss....@ d end we al just fooling ourselves....let's throw it all open and let's seeif any would ever trust any nt to mention marry
The mindset of exclusiveness outside marriage is primitive delusions. People have very good friendships outside the BF/GF thing. The ingredients of good friendship is same for every honest relationship irrespective of how you defined it.

Exclusiveness only comes after the marriage contract have been agreed and signed.

Anyone has the right to opt out of any relationship at any time even at the wedding alter unless subject to any agreed and acceptable contract.

note this again, The ingredients of good friendship is same for every honest relationship irrespective of how you defined it.

now. answer this; how long can you stay in an exclusive relationship without any binding contract like say marriage contract?

Put urself in his shoes!! And if she is really that innocent, y didn't she inform her boyfriend abt ithuh
you are on point with the CUT IT OFF line.

for me, I don't attach much emotions into BF & GF thing. any one can take decisions that suits them. Until you are legally joined to the other person in MARRIAGE no one should subject the other in any form of bondage.

A guy almost lost a job because his GF suspected that the lady who wanted to help him was about snatching him from her.

Funny enough after the whole drama, The lady married just 2 months later to her long time friend. she told me. she just felt like helping the guy as he had the opportunity and he already told the manager that the guy was a very close relative.

Personally, I liked a girl I was about going to talk to her when I realised she was with a guy. I intentions was genuine and sincere but the guy had already caged her. she just couldn't break away because of sentiments like what we are reading here. The guy later told the girl that he doesn't like her that he was just managing to put up with her all along.

before the break up her photographs were on this guys wall in his house.

A beg. anyone who has not paid the bride price should NOT subject you to any bondage in the name of love.

I love good things. so I'll say kudos! but what had APC got to do with it. if he started it as a PDP man and the opposition called him a thief; he completes it as an APC man. does that make him no longer a thief?

this has nothing to do with APC. he did his KOB simple.
Politics › Re: Tambuwal Set To Declare Presidential Ambition Under APC by ndcide(m): 6:54pm On Sep 10, 2014
he should resign from his position first before pulling that silly stunt. if he thinks he'll preserve his sit as speaker staying in the PDP and move at the last moment to the APC to run for presidency, he must be a learner.

This man can't get Sokoto governorship ticket in PDP. he better move to APC now else he'll have himself and his APC friends to blame at the end.

He has made himself a suspect. but for his present position in PDP he wouldn't be getting things easy again.

darqly: If stating the obvious translates to giving the enemy a psychological advantage, however incongruous it sounds, then I'll always be guilty my friend.
Come to yola and announce to the traumatised refugees fleeing their homes to please shut up, as they're demoralizing our troops and citizens like you ( who are not in mortal danger...)
If the president will act like a president for ONCE, and curtail this insurgency, then he may have moral justification for seeking re-election.
NB- When the Nigerian army starts giving BH a good licking, I'll be in the fore championing their achievements.
What do you mean by "if the President will act like a president for once"

it's absolutely disgusting to read this from you. the President has deployed the military declared a SOE. Yet your likes saw nothing good about it. Surreptitiously giving the enemies leverage by condemning govt actions, openly berating the military, over exaggerating activities of the sect, print and electronic media taking sides, crucifying objectivity in reportage because of political sentiments or dislike of the person of the president.

The president has done what he has to do. the military should be allowed to do their jobs. We should encourage them and make them realize that they must not fail in this fight and not politicize their actions. we should be sensitive to military saboteurs and Boko haram moles in the military and urge the military ti fish them out. we must be supportive.

The president means well for the country and he is doing what he can. we must not pull him down. He may have to compromise a lot. sometimes let his enemies have their way; that is the dynamics of such position. it's never a liner equation.

If you have been in a leadership position at trying times you'll understand.

my footnote is from the movie 24. do you know when and the circumstance the president in that movie made the statement watch it again and find out for yourself. ..... the whole of America saw him as weak and silly. but ultimately he was right. hence he made the statement.

Babalegba: idiotic posts normally irritates me but I will give yours benefit of the doubt for the moment. Kindly explain to us doubter on this forum why a set of people will go about destroying their own community, killing their own people just to gain political control. Is it by coincidence that ISIS are fighting in Syria and Iraq to carve out an Islamic caliphate as well. GEJ should have at least got people with a bit of grey matter to defend his inane paralytic kleptomaniac clueless government rather than asking grey matter starved mischievous clowns to to clog the social networks.
idiotic comments also irritates me. Unfortunately I can't help you. Go and ask Shekau why UN building, NPF HQ , Abuja mall Madala Church etc was bombed. if you can get the answer you wouldn't worry about ISIS.

Since you have a brain, tell me why the places I mentioned were bombed...Forming a Caliphate indeed. Sorry the Politics of Book haram is beyond your capacity. just because the fight has taken a different dimension you choose to be ignorant of the past.

nonsense.

darqly: Herein lies the bulk of our problem. People like you and GEJ pretend the country isn't under siege and allude his failures and inaction to 'political foes'. Lives and livelihoods are being lost and all you can think of is 2015 elections.
Look young man, are you telling me you can't deduce the intent of the various threads on boko haram on this forum? It is people like you who give the enemies of this country a psychological advantage. for me, the responses here and there is absolutely political.

I repeat and get it to your head now. The insurgency in Nigeria of today HAS EVERY THING TO DO WITH POLITICAL CONTROL.

if you HONESTLY don't know this, then it's unfortunate. you can call it 2015 and maybe insult the sympathizers and supporters of the president. everybody must not believe in the same course.

THE PERSISTENCE OF BOKO HARAM HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH POLITICAL CONTROL.
Politics › Re: Since When Did Boko Haram 'attacks' Become Equivalent To A 'take Over' ? by ndcide(m): 4:26pm On Sep 07, 2014

They want to hear the false exploits of book haram and face the president with insults. nothing more.

SpencerLewis: Which wise men from the east? our people appeared to be the most foolish/naive when it comes to Nigerian politics. it will be extremely difficult for an Igbo man to rule Nigeria with these set up. they can only do that by accident just the their so called 'brother GEJ'. Let them keep supporting an Ijaw man that hate we the Igbos with passion. they never supported us in 1st, 2nd and 3rd republic. those minorities in the 4ma eastern region hate the Igbos. They are now relying on the support of a major ethnic group (the Igbos) to hold unto power. But I bet it will back fire on us very soon.
GEJ handing over to an Igbo man is the biggest joke of the century. And by the way stop calling us the wise men from the east, b/c there is nothing wise in our political decisions since the invention of the evil patrty called (PDP)
When a political Lilliput speaks, you'll know. Which Igbo man can contest the presidency in 2015 and win. look if you support APC then tell them to bring out an Igbo man for 2015 contest and see.

you can say you don't do tribal politics, but that will be a lie.

It takes so much stratagem to win the presidency. a lot is involved. ask Rochas and buhari. any one who sees their campaign will think they'll win.

for me the Igbo people are wise . any obvious move against GEJ will make things difficult. Is it APC that will give the thicket to Igbo man? They wouldn't even think of bringing out s Yoruba man. any attempt on such will destroy the party.

guy, be wise.

Feex: I disagree with the bolded. Fresh grads hoping to work for firms like in firms like KPMG, PwC, Deliotte, banks (GTB, FBPlc, UBA ...and so on), NBPlc, Guinness, Unilever, UAC, PZ, Baker Hughes, Schlumberger, P & G, Shell, Chevron, etc. need not know anyone. There are some firms you will need referrals though like CAT, Halliburton, Julius Berger, etc. But fresh grads have got plenty chances without knowing anyone. Mind you, I work for one of the aforementioned firms without knowing even one person.
my cousins are in shell. they are extremely brilliant guys. they gut in through STRONG referrals at the last minutes .
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: 3 Misconceptions That Fresh Graduates Make About Getting Jobs In Nigeria by ndcide(m): 7:11pm On Sep 04, 2014
Mr Xfire , I understand your point but I think the point 3 is not over exaggerated as you say. honestly, I've got some jobs before my present one and believe me I had strong referrals + God factor. my present job required very competent personnel at the time I entered hence they couldn't let me go after the interview. Now take note; Only two of us in the entire organization came in that way ; The rest came in through connection. that's 99% approximately.

In my organization we have Highly competent top level staff with HIGHLY incompetent mid level staff, and a good mix for the lower level. The mid level staff are all foreigners who secured the jobs through nepotism. This structure is stretching the few competent staff to near breaking point. Trust me, this structure is not changing soon. My point is, Your fact#3 is not in any way over exaggerated in this country.

Look man, I want through a rigorous interview process at a time. and at the final stage, we were just 3 and they needed one person. it was all fireworks in the boardroom that morning. myself, a guy from Glo and one from Airtel. Guess what We all had our person among the decision makers in the boardroom. Since we were all good, and board members were trying to outsmart each other on whom to pick, the group chairman had to pick randomly. the guy from Airtel was just lucky.

My point is, even those who will agree with you on point #3 know the truth that Man-know man , is not over exaggerated as you stated. it is the reality on ground for now. In fact going through without connection seem to be the exception to the rule, While the rule is , you gat to at least have some connection.

just had to respond.
