Sometimes having the vision is its own reward.

So what if the petition doesn't fly? That's why people miss opportunities because they simply say "its impossible". What's the point believing the future can be better if you don't think it'll start today?

By the way, there's a merchant selling PS4 currency on quickteller. Bet you would have said its impossible, and there he is :

I'm on PS Plus 3 months and I'm using Ntel playing titanfall 2. So yeah, its possible.

GamingRe: Graphics Vs Storyline Vs Gameplay Which Is More Important? by ndividual: 4:11pm On Apr 29, 2016
Graphics is the easiest to achieve relative to all three. Plus, its the easiest way to grab the eyeballs of everyone. Its an easy marketing point.

Storyline and Gameplay? Not so much. Any new breakthrough in gameplay gets copied to the point of it becoming standard (remember cover fire?).

Storyline & Gameplay require creativity that's not afraid to depart from the norms and bring a fresh but enjoyable perspective. But the industry has become so high-risk publishers are playing it safe

In order of priority:
1) Gameplay (it is a game afterall)
2) Storyline (Make me invested to see the end)
3) Graphics (Good enough not to distract me from 1 & 2)

I've been there. I've lost two sure-deals because of this paypal issue. That's why we need to spread this petition around. If we can't even get enough signatures it would only reinforce the paypal's perception that we don't need it.

PayPal wants Nigerians to be spending via PayPal only, it places barrier on receiving payment. This has affected lots of Nigerians who would have made legit money courtesy their skills.
It's not just PayPal, template monster affiliate program, avangate etc are some of the international firms that have barred Nigerian from making a living online.
But these companies have failed to realize that when you put restriction on anything, you're promoting illegality indirectly.
Despite the PayPal restriction, some still use the Backdoor means to receive PayPal payment.
I urge PayPal to revisit this issue.
Thanks, for raising this issue.
To support your campaign and petition, I'll try to publish this on my blog.
If you're chanced, let's chat on whatsapp 08065277758
Please by all means spread the word. The petition is a fellow nigerian and we all stand to benefit. After a certain number of signatures the petition would be submitted to the CEO of paypal.
WebmastersChange.org Petition: Let Nigerians Receive Funds With Paypal by ndividual(op): 12:03pm On Apr 25, 2016
Culled from https://www.change.org/p/paypal-let-nigerians-receive-funds-with-paypal

Today was a sad day for me. I applied to a job online that would allow me earn a full-time income by Nigerian standards (about $1000 a month). I qualified for this job after a rigorous screening process but when it was time to setup my work info, I found out that the company makes payments only via paypal and at the moment, Nigerians cannot receive payments with their paypal accounts.
This hasn't happened to just me. In fact, this isn't the only instance. Imagine spending countless hours building a product to sell in a marketplace only to find that they make their payments exclusively via paypal? This is the situation for countless Nigerians who are motivated and looking to make money online and who insist on doing so with integrity.

Nigeria is a country filled with a lot of poor people (by global standards) with very limited opportunities hence the need to seek opportunities to make a living online. A job that pays $1000 a month is enough to make you a happy Nigerian and this sort of job is not exactly easy to find in the country.

The internet presents willing Nigerians with opportunity. The opportunity to earn their living legitimately online. However Paypal - the 'industry standard' for online payments makes this opportunity inaccessible to Nigerians in most cases. Making mass payouts is a relatively easy task when done using Paypal's business platform. Hence most internet businesses ( even those that welcome a global workforce) choose to make payments to their workers via Paypal. Nigerians, who qualify to be a part of the workforce for some internet companies are however not able to receive payments simply because we can't receive payments with Nigerian Paypal accounts.

I understand that Nigeria doesn't have the best reputation when it comes to scams and internet fraud. However, a lot has changed in the country over the years and internet fraud is no longer popular among the Nigerians who carry out numerous transactions online.
Thankfully, Nigerians can use their paypal accounts to purchase items from so many websites (even websites that don't process Nigerian credit cards). However, the problem remains that, for some reason(s), Nigerians can't receive payments via Paypal.

It's not news that at the moment, Nigeria is a third-world country. Most Nigerians don't earn in a year what the average citizen of a developed country can make in a month. There just aren't many good jobs in Nigeria and the lack of basic infrastructure makes it very difficult and expensive for foreign investors to invest. Unemployment rates are high and it's harder than ever to maintain a decent living standard. The internet presents hope for a lot of people facing almost similar and in many cases better conditions in their countries.

The internet presents an opportunity for everyone to be a part of a global community where you can earn money legitimately provided you're qualified and able to work. This hope is blurred for most Nigerians because we currently can't receive money via the most popular payment platform.

Payoneer could have been the perfect alternative because it processes payments to Nigerians and in fact, many Nigerians use Payoneer to receive funds. However, Payoneer is not as popular among business owners as Paypal so there is still a lot of opportunity Nigerians don't have access to.

The goal of this petition is to urge Paypal to re-access the situation. There's a really vast market of Nigerians who will happily subscribe to Paypal's services once we are able to receive payments and manage business accounts. At the moment, a lot of qualified, hard working Nigerians can't make money online simply because they can't receive payments via Paypal. These are individuals who have been offered project and job contracts that they can't take advantage of because they can't receive their pay using Nigerian Paypal accounts.
Please, support this petition to make all of Paypal's features completely accessible in Nigeria.

Hello all,
I was just wondering.. How do single ladies get hooked up in Nigeria?
When I say get hooked up I mean in a serious relationship, not those ones that the guy is just there to eat some booty..I mean a serious one that leads to serious relationship and finally, marriage? Those ones our parents practised in the 60's. Seriously how??

I mean, you think you are fine, hot, and well mannerd, got good brains, can keep conversations on but it's hard for you finding mr right. Where are all the mr rights in Nigeria? Abi they are all taken ni? Where are the good guys?

Wen I was in 100lvl I always picture 500level as that level where everything is just perfect, you know..like you and your fiancee driving around in his ride and doing 5 and 6 everywhere. Maybe by then you are engaged with one fine ring.

Am there now and Mr right is still not here..nawa ooo.
Where are all the Mr right guys nah.. Oga o!

Mods, pls help fish those mr rights out
Let even assume everything you've stated above is the definitive standard of what a guy should be. Since you can't be the only person with those standards, its obvious such a person will not only attract other women as well, but will also have his own standard of what he wants in a woman.

Even if you meet his standard, if you're the "Siddon/waiting", type, your chances are lower than those women who more outstanding. And this is the problem with standards. someone is always going to surpass you in whatever standards you hold "Mr Right" to.

CrimeRe: If You Are Driving At Night And Eggs Are Thrown At Your Windscreen... by ndividual: 8:41am On Feb 29, 2016
This is FALSE!!! Its been an email circulated since November 2009.

Still, don't stop for anyone!!

Culled from http://www.snopes.com/crime/warnings/eggthrow.asp
Our first sighting of this November 2009 warning about eggs being thrown at windshields was a 29 October 2009 YahooGroups mail list post. That earlier version, while it also asserted the claim of water mixed with raw egg's obscuring a windshield and bruited the (absurdly precise) 92.5% figure, differed from what has become the canonical form of the warning in that it stated motorists so attacked would become prey to "robbers/carnappers" and recommended those so assaulted instead drive to "a well lit place w/ many people or nearest police station" rather than stop.

Later forms of the e-mail added further flourishes, such as "used by robbers" morphing into "used by robbers in Johor Bahru" (the capital city of Johor in southern Malaysia), the addition of the claim that these attacks "happens on interstates near exits," and most commonly the inclusion of this new paragraph which blames matters on the flagging economy: "Folks are becoming more and more cruel daily. But this is just the beginning of pangs of distress. With the decline in economy and job losses, we can expect anything. Just can't be too careful these days."

Though we've queried our police contacts and scoured news reports looking for accounts of robberies and carjackings effected by disabling target

vehicles by pelting them with raw eggs, we weren't able to find any such occurrences in the U.S. Rather, we did locate news stories about police cars so pelted, with the officers retaliating by giving chase to the miscreants who'd thrown eggs at them. In various news accounts we found, officers not only were able to see well enough through their poultrified windows to go after the bad guys, they succeeded in running them to ground and bringing them to justice. Most tellingly, such accounts made no mention of the gendarmes so assaulted experiencing difficulty in seeing well enough through their egged windshields to give chase.
FamilyRe: Why Do Some Men Like To Tempt Married Women? Why??? by ndividual: 8:30am On Feb 29, 2016
amtaken:
There are some guys who know that you are a legally married wife and still disturb your life. Some of them even try to entice you with big contracts. The worst part is when your ex begins to call your line every day, sending you whatsapp messages claiming that he can't forget you.

Why don't some men have fear of God? Why too much pressures on married women when there are many single girls out there? Some of them even go as far as hitting on a pregnant woman.

This is a very bad behaviour and must be discouraged.

Goodnight brothers and sisters.

NB: This is not personal.
As specific as this post is, the mere fact is that there is no more respect for the institution of marriage.

In a relationship? "She/He never marry. Anything fit happen"
Engaged? "She/He never marry. Anything can go before the ring is set"
Married? "So? She/He is 'premium filtered'! All the better"
Divorced? "I'll still tap it."

When people know there's a high chance that you can still score even after the ring (for those married and otherwise), who's going to restrain themselves? Haven't you heard of married women banding together as if to watch over their husbands from single women (and vice versa)? Haven't you heard of women who go specifically for married men?

Dear Future Love of My Life:

I know. I should have written before. Forgive me. But I got the feeling that you were beginning to think I didn’t exist. But I do. And I wanted to let you know that while I might be as elusive as a unicorn grazing in a field of four-leaf clovers, I’m close. I’m around the corner, down the street, on Facebook, in your office, at our local coffee shop, a complete stranger. I made eyes at you once on the subway. I saw you across the room at a party. I swiped you right on Tinder. But it’s not our time yet. And I know you’re wondering why.

It’s really not fair that you’ve had to wait this long, or go on blind dates, endure bad sex, settle for ‘meh’ relationships, feel misunderstood, cry from loneliness, wrap your arms around a pillow as you fall asleep at night. I’m so sorry, my love. You deserve an explanation. So, here it goes. It’s taken me a long time to even admit this to myself much less to you, so please know that everything I’ve written here is true.

The reasons we haven’t met yet, in no particular order:

1. I haven’t thrown out the list of things I think you should be.
2. I’m with the wrong person right now.
3. I’m not ready to be loved unconditionally.
4. Since my life isn’t together, I think you’ll reject me.
5. I still believe that drama is a show of love.
6. I’ve been intentionally keeping my head too busy to think with my heart.
7. I need to date more to understand what I do and don’t like.
8. I won’t be able to appreciate you until life has kicked my ass.
9. I’m too focused on my own needs.
10. I don’t know how to create the feeling of home that lives in my heart.

Clearly, I’m not my best self yet. Or even myself — I’m still figuring out who that is. I’m pretty sure even if we did meet, you wouldn’t like me all that much right now. It’s entirely possible that we did hit it off once, and I left without getting your information; or maybe I did get your number and never called because of any one of the above reasons.

This is a call for humility – stop blaming the opposite sex for the downfall of your relationships and take responsibility for the things you can control.
Be patient with me, darling heart. Know that I’m working my way toward you. So don’t spend any more time thinking about where I am or am not. Just keep making your life exciting and full, so when we do finally come together, we can bring each other joy, because we are already happy.

I know it’s taking longer than you’d like. It’s a hell of a lot slower than I could have ever imagined. But I’m here. This is me talking to you. And I’m not going anywhere.

Don’t give up on me.

Yours, in perpetuity,

The Love You Haven’t Met Yet

What do you think the is the average number of heart breaks and failed relationships before meeting "the one" or settling down?

I ask this question because there's so much i learnt over my past relationship that I would not have known prior or taken for granted. No number of books or second hand experience can substitute your own. That seems to suggest to some extent the breakups are a neccessary (but bleeped up) way to know better.

So, what's say you?

BusinessMy Experience With ABC Logistics by ndividual(op): 9:15am On Feb 19, 2015
After exhausting mails and calls with the company mentioned, I'm posting this to let others know to exercise caution when using logistic services.

I've been using ABC Logistics to deliver items purchased from amazon (including clearing) into the country, the price of which by air-freight is a bit high ($70+), but I accepted due to convenience.

Last year December I had shipped a number of items which I would pick up in January 2015. After calling and then being delayed by a day or two, the excuse being that the dispatch was robbed, but assured me that my items were intact. Having done business with them numerous times I made no issue. On delivery I noticed that 2 items were missing: an iPad cover case and SIM card adapters, both worth $80. I then spent more two weeks following up with the local and U.S. Branches by phone and email, giving them time to see if there was a mixup. Numerous calls later he told me in rude terms that the item was given to someone else and would be available in a few days. After the day passed and no further progress he offered to make a refund for the item. At this point livid, I demanded he reimburse me for the item. I told him how much and sent my bank details.

He eventually did pay, but paid part (10k the item was worth 17k at the time before the naira dropped). Furious, I asked him at what rate did he use to come to that amount, and when he couldn't give a figure I then asked him if I paid half value for his services. After apologizing on the phone saying he will pay the balance, he's gone silent.

I'm not pissed that the item is missing. These things happen. I am pissed that I'm treated this way for a service i paid in full.

I've sent an email to the company with this link. Perhaps they can explain their side of the story.
