HeliotJ please can you help me to come over there, as work you take all the moneypost=111887585:
It is accurately rewarding to relocate to Canada and work menial jobs collecting dollars than to be a business man in Nigeria with billions of naira networth.

There are reasons

(1) The quality of life, even if you're packing snows in Canada, far better than what anyone can get in Nigeria jungle. And when you convert your wages to naira, you'll see that you're richer than all of your mates in Nigeria.

(2) government cares for the citizens. In fact, government come to your rescue when you claim broke by providing you with money, houses and cars you need to live your life.

Thanks

Romance / Re: Why Do Men In Their Late Thirties And Early Forties Easily Say "NO" To Sex? by Ndoki85(m): 10:42am On Feb 16, 2022
Words of knowledge, I am 39 years old, and I find it difficult to have sex, my mind doesn't go for sex any more, and I don't know why, so your words proves true because I find myself in that category,
lecturer50:
I have observed that males in their late thirties and early forties can easily say NO to sex.

As in, they may interact with females and do not think of sleeping with her.

Even if the lady is very beautiful and wants sex with the man, he can easily refuse or delay it. And the surprising thing is that they have more opportunities to sleep with women,

unlike the males in their twenties and early thirties who are always looking for sex which they won't even find. Such an irony!

People in late thirties and early forties tends to be more focused and self fulfilled, and tend to discover that Sex is not that important.

I don't mean those who are chronic sex addict. I am talking about a normal somebody.

(As in, those males who are chronic sex addict, even if they are 100 years, they can still rape their great grand daughters to satisfy themselves. So I am not talking about those kind of males.)

My observation though.

Travel / Re: Brasilia, Brazil Beautiful Views From The Sky(photos) by Ndoki85(m): 6:26pm On Oct 24, 2021
walkbrazil4k:
Do you know Brasilia was built in the shape of a bird but later turned into a cross, many don't know that Brasilia is a planned city just like Abuja read more about this great city below

Brazil's first capital was Salvador; in 1763 Rio de Janeiro became Brazil's capital and remained so until 1960. During this period, resources tended to be centered in Brazil's southeastern region, and most of the country's population was concentrated near its Atlantic coast. Brasilia's geographically central location fostered a more regionally neutral federal capital. An article of the country's first republican constitution, dated 1891, states that the capital should be moved from Rio de Janeiro to a place close to the country's center.

The plan was conceived in 1827 by José Bonifácio, an advisor to Emperor Pedro I. He presented a plan to the General Assembly of Brazil for a new city called Brasilia, with the idea of moving the capital westward from the heavily populated southeastern corridor. The bill was not enacted because Pedro I dissolved the Assembly.

According to the legend, Italian saint Don Bosco in 1883 had a dream in which he described a futuristic city that roughly fitted Brasilia's location. In Brasilia today, many references to Bosco, who founded the Salesian order, are found throughout the city and one church parish in the city bears his name.

Juscelino Kubitschek was elected President of Brazil in 1955. Upon taking office in January 1956, in fulfillment of his campaign pledge, he initiated the planning and construction of the new capital. The following year an international jury selected Lúcio Costa's plan to guide the construction of Brazil's new capital, Brasilia. Costa was a student of the famous modernist architect Le Corbusier, and some of modernism's architectural features can be found in his plan. Costa's plan was not as detailed as some of the plans presented by other architects and city planners. It did not include land use schedules, models, population charts, or mechanical drawings; however, it was chosen by five out of six jurors because it had the features required to align the growth of a capital city. Even though the initial plan was transformed over time, it oriented much of the construction and most of its features survived.

Travel / Re: America And Canada Not As Advertised by Ndoki85(m): 8:51am On Jan 14, 2021
pauljustina:
I remember when i was so little i aspire and long to be in the U.S, Canada or U.K. The aspiration was borne out of what i hear, see, and observed from friends, neighbors and TV.
In those days, i would hear story of someone who grew up in Nigeria, travel abroad and is an engineer who lives abroad. I will hear my dad will say "omo lagbaja nie" or "Jide ni yen, omo Brother Odumosu ilu oyinbo lon gbe ni America" meaning: Thats the son of that man, or thats Jide the son of Brother Odumosu who lives abroad in America.

Considering we are of low class economically, those dreams were clear but actualizing it has no path in the dream. Whenever my dad talks about someone he knows, i would try to get close to that person so i could get foreign
phone numbers, so i could tell my friends of low economy class that my uncle or aunt lives abroad and here is his or her number.

Associating with people that comes from
America, Canada and U.K its like the best thing that could ever happen to me those days. Until i finish secondary school and the need to make my dreams come through.. Long story cut short, i found myself in America.

My first day in America was a terrible
experience that i could compare to a girl
brought down to Lagos to work as house-help for a rich man but whose accommodation is restricted to sleep in a big wide living room.

"Wow this is a big house, big parlor, TV, AC, dishes not aluminum bows are used in the kitchen, tiled floor not untiled floor"

Yes she feels exposed cos the house is so cold and no blanket, her cloths used as headrest and i bet you, the first night she will wake before anybody and ask so much questions with herself.. two major thoughts will bugging her, should i run
back to my village or should i stay.. That's the first day experience in America or any part of the world on the first day, depending on how you got there.

NOT AS ADVERTISED
If you are a director, Dr, Lawyer graduated from Nigeria university, be ready to do laborer's job. You will first start from the ground, like factory work, call center work, group home work, personal care assistance(helping disable
people), work in store for that minimum pay. Your way out of these is to forget what you studied or became in Nigeria and start all over again. Go back for 6month program, 2 years
college or 4 years or take prep exams for
professional like Dr and lawyer will have to go to another 3 years of law schools.

At the end, you can never become the top inyour professional, especially when you have to deal with all kinds of discrimination, racism and accent differentials. Once you start you start
seeing that everything screwed against you... But the naija spirit in you will not want to take
last.. When face with rejection, experience setback, you think about home, friends who are hailing you that your life is better and you are probably
in money, what will be of you if you dont push on. These thoughts are motivation to push on and many of us did.

Then you start thinking about paper, school, work, money and people at home.. your worries become endless all in the name of running away from Nigeria and finding greener pasture or American dream.

At the end.. you will quickly find out that,
America is not as advertised...
The people that suffer most are those that sold their property to get to America, in the believe they will one day build back that house they sold, buy another car and some even take millions in life savings and end up forever broke.

Perpetual failure: Never to recover
If God wants to punish you, you will get to
America with no paper and go marry akata or have one k-leg with your paper.. That's the beginning of un-ending circular, redundant spirals fall for life. If DHS send you that letter that says your marriage is sham, forget you ever
came to America, just pack your load, run to another country or come back home.. cos you will never win the case with DHS.

If you commit any felonious crime you are gone or even misdemeanor that takes you to jail for 6 months no way for you to get paper. The America don't forget or forgive, just like the internet. Whatever you do from the day you enter their soil is recorded.

You hit woman, deliberately kill any live animals (dog, cat, birds etc)except insects you could end up in jail.
Don't be deceived everyone is indebted
Everyone here are indebted one way or the other.. Credit card debt, house rent or mortgage, car note.. the system is design to reduced lazy people, keep the people indebted so they have no option but go to work.

When you are sick you can't afford not to be at work, when you have emergency you have to show up to work because that source of income could be blocked by your boss when he or she fires you.

If you are pregnant, you have to come to work until maybe a week before delivery and you have to submit doctors note and after delivery you might not have 30days before you return..

Deception: fake it until you make it

Many of the people you see on Facebook,
Instagram and other social medial acting like they live large, you are likely richer than them if you are in Nigeria with no debt, and have your own house with N1millon naira in your account.

The car they drive its borrowed if they lose two payment the car dealers will come for their car; if they don't pay their mortgage they loose their house. So the life is elusive.

To be continued.....
