PoliticsRe: FG To Borrow $500m To Digitalize NTA by NDprudent(m): 2:44pm On Feb 10, 2020
festacman:
With network of stations across Nigeria, Nigeria Television Authority should be a self-financing CASHCOW rather than a subvention-dependent sick cow. World class equipment and digitization would do little if the current NTA is not restructured. My suggestions:

- The first step in upgrading our good old NTA is to do a SWOT analysis of the Network and then articulate an business plan and business model, which stakeholders including NASS members should view and assess. Anything less than this means the loan money will be frittered away if approved. So, no PLAN or clear roadmap, no approval.

- Second step is to retain mainstream NTA News channel as public service station linking government to the people but with mandate to staff to be more dynamic rather than conservative.

- Third step is to creating a number of Strategic Business Units (SBUs) out the existing network, which will service soecific market segments as purely PROFIT CENTRES to be run by separate Managements and right staff size of dynamic professionals. Such SBUs all under NTA Board can be sports channel, entertainment and life style channel, live events channel, NTA television college, etc

If JAMB is now a revenue centre, what stops NTA from doing better?
You have sense

I think including his name in the topic will go a long way to help reach those that know him.
a lot of people dont open alot of treads, they only read topics and move on. With his name there, whoever knows him would open the tread to confirm who it is.

Just my opinion though.

Science/TechnologyThe Mystery Behind The Salalah Anti Gravity Spot In Oman by NDprudent(op): 2:37pm On Oct 09, 2017
Hi Guys.

A firend of mine just told me today that there is a place in Oman where things act against gravity.
A car with gear placed in neutral would roll up the hill freely instead of down the hill, water poured on the ground also does thesame (flows upwards)

Is there any physicist who can help with an explanation for this?

Here are some youtube links to prove that its real.

What a nice article. Funny enough, most Nigerians like to hide the truth because of blind patriotism /followership.

Justice will still be served eventually, no matter how long it takes

Nigerians don't stay in troubled places, the migrants were heading for Europe.

Why blame Libyans for the choice they made ?
Why not blame Nigeria instead ?
Remember Libyans does not owe Nigerians anything.
Libya with Gaddafi was way better than Nigeria economically. Nothing wrong with people going there to make money.
Talking about them owing Nigerians anything- you are right, they owe us nothing but they are living with the consequences right now.

These migrants are even risking their children's lives.
If they must engage on a suicide mission, why not go alone ?
Libya once had one of the best economies in Africa. It's possible that the parents were even there before the children were born. Don't blame it all on the parents, blame the lybians that allowed themselves to be deceived by the world powers.
PoliticsRe: Heavily Armed Police And Soldiers Overpowered By Nnamdi Kanu And His Followers by NDprudent(m): 6:56am On Jul 29, 2017
I saw someone type that if the soldier had shot the guy that was provoking him to, the crowd would have dispersed in fear.

Let me tell you - from what I saw in that video, some of those guys were ready to die and shooting that gun would have been a suicidal act by the soldier

he has been putting in efforts in making sure that the federal government stands strongly behind these products. dont u think he had something to do with the ordering of thousands of boots by the Nigerian army?

i stayed in ABA a few years ago, i know their roads are in a sorry state, i know that most of these local manufacturers still put made in italy on their products, i know that most of them dont even have brand names. these are the sort of things the gov should try to tackle by teaching these locals how to do standard branding and marketing, and also provide good access roads for supplies of products.
PoliticsRe: The Made-In-Aba Box Lai Mohammed, Ngige & Others Received In Abia by NDprudent(m):
The efforts of this governor is commendable, but more needs to be done.
he should create a favorable environment for these local manufacturers so that the sales of their products dont depend on the politicians in power.

Teach these locals how to market their products and let them go independent, and perhaps international.

for those quoting me;

he has been putting in efforts in making sure that the federal government stands strongly behind these products. dont u think he had something to do with the ordering of thousands of boots by the Nigerian army?

Will you consider this analogy as valid? ''Ada is a prostitute, Ada is a woman , therefore all women are prostitutes''. The example sighted above is exactly how fallacious your so called position of knowledge is. Attending Assemblies of God church for 26 years and being married to an Igbo lady does not confer an educated knowledge nor the socio-cultural heritage of a people on you. Your fallacious example which was based on a false premise with false conclusion would have been a valid assertion if only you restricted your opinion to the Igbo's in the Assemblies of God church you have been attending. What you call knowledge is nothing but a subjective opinion which is not only fallacious but also a flagrant exhibition of crass ignorance.
Chai!! See English o!! U hav confuse me o....is dat how u use to do?
