I had been weeping about our health sector years before this ridiculous arguments started coming to limelight. That has been because our medical practitioners barely face their duties solely. They do their jobs and do jobs meant for others. I have been to hospitals where the medical doctors carried out lab analysis and prescribed drugs to patients ( even nurses do that now), so what becomes the fate of the pharmacists and the lab scientists? I believe that the health sector is so broad to accommodate all health workers, be it a doctor, lab scientist, pharm., medical biotechnologists, public health worker, the list is just too long. But some of the above mentioned professions are marginalized by those who think they are the masters of all. And I think that's the major reason why our health sector is not so successful (besides d problem of awful practice environments). I read a post hear where sum1 typed that only doctors should b commissioners/ministers of health and I shook my head 4 dis country. Sum1 should tell me why a qualified health worker (eg. a well qualified epidemiologist) shouldn't be a minister in his own field of specialization. Lastly: u should be learned enof as medical practitioners 2 knw dat all these insults against yourselves are so irrelevant and doesn't speak well of you. I stand to b corrected if I have spoken wrongly. Thanks.

Hi friends. We have all been talking about B.Sc, M.Sc and Ph.D, but very little has been said about M.Phil. I decided to create this thread so that d educationists in the house would enlighten us on this program as I'm very much interested in it. My major question is this " can one who just has a B.Sc degree apply for M.Phil?". Thank you, I await ur responses.

He's doin well as a DMF, he's a great player, n he has a unique playing style.

As far as m concerned, nobody in cfc plays dat position beta dan mikel does... Giv d guy a break

1st of all, most undagraduates re just in skul 2 get d paper (degree cert.), afta which dey run dia individual businesses or get employed in establishments already set aside for dem. It soundd so crazy wen my friend who sudies anatomy told me dat he was workin in a construction firm, n months later he said he was wit an estate management firm in abu dhabi.

D issue is dis- d system in dis country is so bad dat doze hu study nice courses don't even hav an avenue 2 practice in dia fields. For instance, I studied biological sciences n m abt goin 4 msc in genetic engineering/molecular biology(both research based courses) buh dis country hardly encourages research....buh dat doesn't mean doze courses aint appreciated in more advanced countries.

My point is dis- every course has its use, its left 4 u 2 find where ure needd n fix urself in.

My advice to doze beefing- u can still get ur points tru our skulls when u talk politely. Thanks

My cousin once told me dat anytin dat makes me laugh is unreasonable, afta all my thinking i found out dat wat he said was d truth. I found out dat reasonable tins will only make u smile, but wen i laugh, sumtin unreasonable is involvd. Every1 knw abt profesnal courses like d ICAN, NIM, etc........but i dont knw of any profesnal course for doze in life sciences (could it b dat der's none?)
