i think the site is well done.good use of css. its a good one.

but like someone said earlier, the images u used need to be worked on. pls try an make em sharper with photoshop. or u cn download nice pics from www.gettyimages.com (the royalty free section).

apart from that. u have a good site. 90 - 95% is my score . keep it up man!!!

I will give you my honest critism of you site. Now before i start, i want you to know that change is the only costant thing in life and most of the people who are established in thier fields of endevor @ one point in time or the other were told they werent good enough, what kept them goin was thier zeal and determination to contine and be the best OK? (Now that that's taken care of, lets get to the real thing)

I must say, your site dosent sit in well for me. the colors are tooooo much, (Is the site for a circus company of a web development company)?
the layout is poor
the fontts dont work for me (personal opinion)
there are no pictures to mkae the site look appealing
I am sorry to say, the site isnt a good one.

I kno if you work harder and with a little more experience, you will be a very good web designer, bt for now, u arnt there yet.

if you read all the strings that were sent, you will nderstand why i said what i said earlier. I was responding to a post some one made earlier bout larger than lifedevelopers. I was not making a general statement.if it sounded that way, i didnt mean it.
but I know and mean what i said when i said i was a top grader. Pride isnt saying what you are Pride rather is saying what you are @ the expense of someone else.I know who i am and have no apologies for that. I f i was proud, i would not be the one startin what i am trying to start.
I have never insulted any webdeveloper in this forum or anywhere else, and i never intend to. I learnt all i know today with the helop of God and other well meaning human beings who trained me selflessly over the years. it is that same type of service i am always willing to give young and upcoming developers.

Well to answer the above, i know some people think they are "larger than life " and will not subscribe to such an iidea, but thers a saying that goes thus ; "Those that matter dont mind and those that mind dont matter". personaly speaking, from what i have seen around nigeria for now, i can rate myself as a top grader in this web development thing; with regards to Design (Layout, HTML, CSS), Flash, Programming (PHP, ASP,.NET, VB and many more), database (Oracle, Mysql partially on sql sever) grahics etc.
I know i am good, but even if i wasnt the one hosting this idea, I would still be the first to jump into it. I dont care how good anyone is, what i know is that you still have a lot to learn from everyone.
So i say, those that think they are too good should humble themselves and get inovlved in this for thier own good.They are not half as good as some of us.yet we are the ones calling for such a forum.
God knows how mighty he made man, he knows man was made in his image , but yet , once in the bible, he instructed us to learn from THE ANT. no matter how big u tink you are, there is wisdom to learn from the small.
SO EVRY ONE IS IMPORTANT.

I think you should start with those very close to you. if u know anyone who owns a business, maybe a father, mother, fathers friend, mothers friend, neighbour,church member etc. basically dont charge them too much, keep your cost as minimal as possible and do all you can to make sure you design extremely beautiful websites at theis stage. they say bad news travells fast, but bros good news travells faster. If you are good, those you have worked for will eventually do your marketing for you. They will tell others about you and befor you know it, you must have built more than 10 sits, now by any standard, thats a good start.
Take challenges, dont be lazy, ask questions when u need to and you will do well in this busineess OK.

I have been a regular visitor and user of this forum for all sorts of reasons. I have seen the good , bad and ugly sides. and while some are getting better, some arent, but in any case, we are all looking good.

The other day, i was thiking to myself and then it hit me, "why cant we all come together (u know HTML people, php gurus , ASp develipers, Flash Animators, Photoshop desginers etc) and meet PHYSICALY (not virtually or electronically) in a forum or breakfast meeting or something of that sort. It will be a platform for us to meet ourselves, help each other out, basically create a network amongst ourselves.

You know two heads are always better than one, but now am talking about over a hundred heads. I tell you, if we can do this,we will all benefit from it.
I am a web developer in a leading IT firm in Lagos.I have a lot of experience in all kinds of software and techniques and a growing portfolio to back up my claims ( I have even put some on this site for u guys to review). But whats the use of having all this knowledge if thers no one you can pass it to.I am willing to help other programmers and web developers out there and i know there are others like me who wanna help other and meet other developers out there, so i say LETS DO THIS.

I am willign to sponsor the first breakfast meeting, but what i want are your resposes on this issue. I will be very convinced if i can start with at least 100 (or more ) developers in the first meetin.

i think Zenith banks site is the best. diamond is equally good. i think the problem is the fact that those that do bank sites focus more on functionality than on beauty. like GTBanks site has a lot of functions, so the guys that did it r probaly programmes and not designers. they focus more on PHP, ASP, that on CSS and HTML , kno wha i mean?

Interswitch is the payment module provider for sites in Nigeria, but they are so expensive. the y fo for 150, 000 all web masters are crying about this . well, there is a solution which runs on the interswitch network that i am about to launch it will cost less than 50 to get ur site integrated to it.

I am sorry if i have caused any undue anxiety about this service, but what i can say is it will cost only btw 1 and 50, 000 (Depending on ur requirements)to intergrate ur site completely. There are certain parameters you will be asked to store in ur code (page were the checkout /payment will take place) and u r good to go.
It really is that simple. but of course there are documentations before you go live. Nothin too complex though

And syskay, Interswitch accepts other platforms apart from PHP. research on ur facts.

well, eagles suked, they play COMPLETE RUBBISH and they need to do better if they want to smell any prize in the nations cup next year. but sayin the we cheated the ugandans is not fair at all. if u listen closely, the whistle went offf before the ball was headed and ususally, when ever the referees whistel goes off, defenders usuallly dont bother stopping the ball. I heard the whistle clearly before the ball was nodded. The player fouled a defender in the air. (he push in the air) that was why the referee blew.
So did we play well? No. but to say we cheated is takin it too far. a beg show some love to the eagles ( i kno say them dey annoy us sometimes, but wetin dey do the heads of NFA people to carry dem go abeokuta? dem no see stadium for Surulere?) this is the kinnda trash that allowed angola draw with us 1 - 1 in kaduna (abi na kano) . these guys (eagles ) are used to playin on level fields. why on Gods green earth will they take the matches to places that would be a disadvantage to them. If Berti had fielded Enyinmba players, then no problem, at least the ABA boys are used to the kind of pitches we have in nigeria, but not our super eagles.
