hello folks,
well as for me, i wanna develop some web applications that will change lives and make things easier for my people. a social network, a biz solution site, watever it may be , but its gonna be stuff that will simplyfy the lives of my fellow nigerians. for example u kno there are sites were pple buy phone credits from. u kno those sites have saved me a lot so many times, (there was this time i had to make a call by 12 midnight and of course i cudnt buy credit out side so i bought it online, phew)
I wanna make life easy for people using the skills that God has given to me. I have some ideas and by Gods grace, they are my goals for next year.

Ofcourse as usual, u guys will always be there for me , doing the reviews, yabs, corrections etc.

to me, the site is ok, it took quite a while to load though.
i particularly like the transition methods you used. as in the way the pictures blure in /out. and i also line the rollover sounds on ur hyperlinks (wonder where u got that from , cn u pls lemme kno)

I however dont line the font type used in the site (personally. it dosnt mean its not good; it just dosnt work for me )
on the whole,its a good one keep it up.

Thats a difficult question. Its like asking how do you know do you know that the man selling pepper in the market is sayin the truth? well one thing you cn doo is to cross check /verify the content with other sites (or sellers as the case may be ) u kno the Bible says, "in the mouth of 2 or three witnesses is evry word establishd" so when u see the same info on bout 2 /3 site that arent linked to each other, there is a great possibility that the info is authentic.

on my own part sha, i ve done unused demo, and i ve also done used demos. the fact with this is (like in every other biz), win some, loose some.
Personally, i dont charge for demos. they come free of charge, but the catch is I show you from my laptop. i dont post if for them and i dont give it to them before payment. wen u agree to do a demo for a client for free, you are doing what oyibo people call "Winning customer loyalty". the clients are sumhow obliged to work with you (provided your demo is good o).
so for me, in a month somtimes i do as many as 10 demos and end up getting paid for about 4 (thats why i aint cheap )
thats my take on this issue sha, i may be wrong in my business approach, but with Gods grace, it has been working for me and it gets my bills paid

the camera is a Sony DSC-N2 (10.1 MEGAPIXELS) Camera . I got it for N50, 000 earlier this year. dont kno if the price has gone up or down. Its a nice one and a good investment as a web dev. cos there are times gettyimage and corbis wont do the trick so u must get the images urself, feel me?

thnks for the post. well, i guess ur right that the quality not quantity of a review matters more.
You see my2cents, most (if not all) of my sites are optimized for IE and not for mozilla,operas, navigators etc. so sometimes, i print out your reviews and go to my site to make the corrections, but i usually dont , due to browser issue. thoughh there are times that browser or not, i see the corrections you suggest that shud be made. i havnt done my usuall print on this site, but i will once am true sending this. Thaks a billion.
yeah, concerning my thumbnails, i recently worked out a code that automaticaly creates thumbnail imges once i upload (Using the GD lib of course). but @ the time i was workin on this site, i hadnt finished that function , so i simply used a simple resize echo in my src tag (bad programming practise , i know )

Yeah , i took all the pictures in the site myself. I have this digital cam i use .wen going for job. and u can trust lagos sunlight to provide adequate lighting for the photo. thnks am glad u like it.

to be honest, i think the site comes from a predesigned template and all you had to do was change the text ( I may be wrong O!) but even if that wasnt the case, basicallt , u have the same layout on each page , no more , no less

though the site is neatly done, by my take, it lacks a sense of creativity and uniqueness.

This is my view o, i may be wrong!! but all the same , keep it up ok!!

well, like the otha guy said, just type the i.p address or the name of the system which is the server (make sure ur LAMP ) is on and the folder were the progammm resides and "VIOLA" , your application will run on the network

e.g

http://192.188.18.1/myapplication/index.php or http://mysystemname/myapplication/index.php

where
192.188.18.1 and mysystemname are the names of the server., myapplication is the name of the contaning folder , and ofcourse index.php is the home page of your application.

Your website dosnt say anythin about your services. is just full of goggle ads and your prices. its not a resouceful or productive site showing ur offerings.
