Politics › Re: A Gladiator Among The Lions : President Muhammadu Buhari by nduchucks: 12:28pm On Dec 09, 2015
I am convinced more than ever that the OP, Jakumo, one of the harshest critics of President Buhari in years past, had vigorously opposed Buhari because Jakomo, like many Nigerians, simply wants the best for this great country.

What many of us saw in Buhari is now clearly visible to all. All we can do now is wish Buhari and his team great success. una know say I no dey talk too much, but I have to say that Jakumo made my day. Uncle Jakumo, welcome aboard sir.

Snakes are instinctive and do not bite out of malice.

The Dad's cruelty was borne out of ignorance and understandable grief. That snake was in its habitat, chilling, when the son either accidentally or intentionally provoked the snake. The entire episode is tragic in all fronts. sad

Politics › Re: Governor El-Rufai Allegedly Attacked In Zaria (Photos) by nduchucks: 5:23pm On Dec 06, 2015
The kind of reform El-Rufai seeks to introduce and is introducing in Kaduna requires the demolition of illegal structures belonging to both the rich and the poor. We saw his methods in Abuja and he suffered the same kind of criticisms at that time. Today, Abuja is one of the most well planned and "on point" cities in the country.

The same people who went to stone him will praise and re-elect him in a few years. My ancestral home is in that state and I endorse El-Rufai 100%. cool
Politics › Re: Senator Dino Melaye Claimed He Was A Student To Open America Account by nduchucks:
The issue is not when Dino opened the account. By law, he is not supposed to operate any foreign account while in office. If he indeed authorized the payments against his debit card in September and December of 2015, I'm afraid his actions violated constitutional provisions and are subject to sanctions stipulated therein.

to have a ss number you would have to be a citizen
That was not the case a few years a go when I obtained one. It was stamped "Not for employment". Besides private investigators can trace his debit card through investigative means.
Politics › Re: Dino Melaye Is Operating A Foreign Bank Account - Sahara Reporters by nduchucks: 10:01pm On Dec 05, 2015
saintfederic:
why the insult really... is dino a citizen that he now has ss number?
I don't think you need to be a citizen to obtain a SS number. They will just stamp your SS card 'not for employment'.

I did not insult you sir (the mumu reference was not directed at you....sorry), but I reserve the right to insult any senator or thieving Rep, who chooses to insult Nigerians by supporting idiotic legislation.
Politics › Re: Dino Melaye Is Operating A Foreign Bank Account - Sahara Reporters by nduchucks: 9:35pm On Dec 05, 2015
saintfederic:
how did SR know?
Very easy.

1) Use a private investigator to do a background check and obtain his SS number, Debit card number etc.

2) Legally obtain Dino's credit report

Or

3) Use other means. People like Dino can be careless. mumu

Criticisms may not be enough. Some of the known noisemakers including some on this thread (you excluded), have been criticising for years without anything to show for it. More tangible steps may be in order.

By the way, I am not as partisan as you may think. I also appreciate your maturity, keep it up.

Politics › Re: Yoruba Commonwealth and Politics by nduchucks: 2:09am On Nov 30, 2015
Permit me to observe that it does not take any brain power to criticise and call your leaders failures and folks who are bereft of great ideas. Such criticisms do not really require any genius.

Most of the so-called leaders were once students abroad who were bright enough to return home and who worked their ways to leadership positions. The armchair youths of today, including many dumb ones on this thread forming expert analysts, I'm sorry to say, are worse than the leaders they are criticising.

The leaders are not aliens from Mars but fellow Nigerians and Yorubas. Get off your butts, roll up your sleaves, get in the trenches and show us how it is done. If you don't do that, I'm afraid 10years from now, you may still be on nairaland criticising the leaders of the day.

I have confidence that most of you are mature enough to take constructive criticisms. Yoruba youths ronu o.

A dumb question to determine a candidate's probability of success within any company. I'd fire the HR "expert" who decided to use this question as a litmus test.
