Lumarstone:Guess it is retirement plan, 20m will sweeten it. |
Tellmeastory:Even if the annual budget of naija is 10 trillion it will still be the same outcome. Have you not seen the ribadu interview where he claimed just 1 man took 75% of a states resources? Check YouTube. |
kay29000:Lol. You are free to. |

Between him and odumeje aka indaboski, I wonder who makes more sense. |
hedonido:Aren't you happy they atleast treated them with dignity by putting them in an aircraft and flying them in instead of dropping them off at the border?. |
Forgive who? They should hold their side jare, just as millions of Nigerians are holding theirs daily. Just this morning at my office complex my aboki gave me gist, saying there are reasons why "big men" refuse to help poor people, I asked him why, what was his reason for saying so. Now in front of the complex, there is the baba ijebu guy, there is also a lady offering pos services. Infact she is the person I use daily. Now towards evening all those petty traders selling pepper, vegetable etc bring out their wares. Few weeks ago, my mama as usually did here foodstuff give away. Something she started doing in her estate since the covid period. As in once in a while she orders for bags of beans, yam, sweet potatoes, onions, rice, tin tomatoes, peppers etc in bulk. Then they share them into nylon bags, averagely 150- 200 bags. The estate youth leader comes with his team and distributes it to needy households. All this is at great cost to her. Anyway, any time I am lucky enough to be around, I insist on taking some bags to share to my people at the complex. Which brings me to the issue of assisting people, my aboki this morning reminded me of when few weeks ago I brought about 10 bags, gave him 2, then gave few to people I see around, I then told him to suggest needy people among those petty sellers in front of the complex. So just today he brought up issues why people are reluctant to help, that when he gave a woman next to the pos lady, the pos girl discussed with the baba ijebu guy. She now told the lady to reject it saying it had ulterior motives, that if it was good, I would have shared it to all of them. Omo, I weak. So I made up my mind hencefort, nothing like that again. I will just give my aboki, and 1 or 2 people I know. My aboki even adviced me not to use that pos lady any longer if despite the heavy transactions I do with her on a daily basis she can still run me down. |
What is wrong with what she is wearing for goodness sake? Crazy ass lot. That was how they harassed ladies back in the day at tejuosho market, from young girls to married women, some so brazen they touch different parts of a ladies anatomy. |
Until person hear the friend side of the story, his reason for asking her to sweep, no comment. |
kettykin:You go wait and wait for answer from that blockhead so tay you go taya.. As no sense de him head. ![]() |
Good news, but yet naira is still falling on a daily basis. No be juju be dat? Government of propaganda. |
"You will never finish from this school" Omo, that is unacceptable. |
Drella:Exactly, I said what your wrote few weeks ago and someone was yabbing me. 5m is less than $3k. 2 years ago, I bought PTA of $4000 for 1.67m ie $10k was way less than N5m! 9 years ago before this apc bandits came in, that 5m was closer to $33,000! You know, sometimes I wonder if Nigerians are normal human beings, why? How can people still support or vote for a party or person that inflicted such devastation on them? It is a case that deserves a PhD thesis. Anyway back to the story, no embassy will even consider you with 5m, ticket money has already copped almost half of that, how much will you then tell them you want to use for vacation(normal reason for visa) and how much will remain for you when your "return", omo, na instant refusal/denial. |
Kai, to be sick in naija now and without heavy money in your pocket is the worst thing you can go through. Infact it is a sentence to hell while on earth. How for goodness sake will a hospital be without electricity and worse till water? Chisos! Even with water those teaching, government hospitals are hell holes, imagine without running water! That one na disease incubator. People weh de shit for body, vomit, have boils, abscess etc with no running water, chisos! Anyway, with the current electricity tarrifs, there is no way those hospitals will be able to run their expenses without charging poor patients heavily. Those that have money will go to the executive wing where there is 24hrs electricity, running water, full ac, and instant access to all the consultants. |
Cmanforall:While I agree with you that vdm is doing right by making people accountable for their actions, it should not be at the expense of others. What he did to the falanas was clean, clear defamation. If in doubt go and watch the video, set aside your emotions. His statements over the audio tape is the issue. The allegation made by Bob in the audio is another matter entirely. Falana has built his reputation over 40years, his kids are also building theirs, surely they will not let someone cast doubt on that image without seeking redress. The falanas graciously and without malice gave vdm the opportunity to apologise and let bygone be bygone, he rather made deflective statements saying he will not defame his "uncle falana" or his family, that was not a clear apology. Supprisenly, the same vdm demands people make amends after calling them out, but when it is his turn, he cannot eat the humble pie and do the same. Anyway, it is the right of vdm not to apologise, it is also the right of the falanas to seek redress if they feel defamed, let the court settle it. Of course to show no malice the falanas did not seek a criminal route which they claim exist, just as that erisco fellow did with that lady, but rather chose the civil route. As I said earlier this is not emotional but simple legal process, when the lawyers see themselves in court, them go greet even share shayo together as no be fight. As for deji, of course it will help the reputation of his chambers, it even pays him not to give vdm proper advice as the more noise, the more popular he becomes. Vdm though should note his lawyer was just called to the bar 1or 2 months ago, normally new lawyers attach themselves with chambers for few years to build up experience. Finally, if you have had some experience with legal issues in naija, you will know that a good lawyer is one that settles your issues without you ending in court. |
I can understand his frustration. If you are a business owner and have to deal with some of this urchins so called officials you will know. They come with all sorts of unreasonable demands, you wonder if it were so easy to run a factory, hotel etc, why the officials are not doing so instead of extorting you. Anyway tearing the money only made him fall deeper into their hands, big mistake. |
Cmanforall:Why? |
Fiscus105:There is a criminal aspect, also a civil one. The falanas decided to go the civil route. |
jaxxy:Exactly. Meanwhile he was given enough time to make amends by apologising, same thing he does to other people, he did not rather playing smart by half which either shows he is not remoseful, too proud or feels he wronged no one ie not guilty. Fair on him it is his right and so it is left to the court to determine who is right between him and the falanas. There is nothing emotional about this. If you feel aggrieved seek redress in court. Meanwhile, was deji adeyanju not called to the bar 1 or 2 months ago? ![]() |
ellalina:I think it is a civil matter not criminal so jail does not fall in, except there is contempt of court. It all boils down to damages ie compensation. |
Nice one. |
Not good enough, afterall you do not expect officials to ride in low end automobiles. 50b should be more appropriate to get RR phantoms, RR black badge suvs and the RR dawns for the lower staff instead of camrys. Apc is doing well by saving money spending a paltry 5b. ![]() |
Omo, no be small thing ohh Anyway, nothing wrong in showing your feeling and where you stand. Why should you be among those running bill for the man's burial, does he not have his kids? |
Trump is already setting up his cabinet, see serious man. We Nigerians are our own enemy, we deserve what we get. I remember when the fulani cattle hearder took office, a period of worldwide economic turmoil where other countries expecially oil producing ones were facing challenges, 1 month fulani man had not announced a cabinet to hit the ground running. 2,3,4,5 months, people were complaining, asking what was happening. I remember right here, charlatans such as manna the vulture griller and his legions of demons he refers to as " we", said baba was taking his time to choose the right people. It took 10 months before he finally (under pressure) setup his cabinet! By the serious harm had been done to the economy. In fairness it was not as bad as it is now though, where we finally handed over the country to an organised crime gang to run. |
They identify as men. ![]() |
MadPolitician:My thought too. |
If the same is done to her abroad she will claim racism. |
tobby20:Abi ohh, na cruise the guy de catch. Lol |
Weree people. See the 2 thin sticks used to support that heavy coffin with the weight of a body inside. Imagine if this sort of people build a house for you. |
Kam2021:I never even respond to them sef, meanwhile them give 7 days demand notice. Na musical copyright society of Nigeria. Them talk say anywhere persin listen to music for your premises you go pay. That 8.5 na their claimed charges for 1 year. No be juju be dat? |
Bros, If you have enough sense to work out money to build a house in this challenging times, also to have a budget of 20m for a car, my dear you do not need advice or suggestions on which car to buy. You know already unless na just content you wan create. |
Kam2021:Price of 200 naira, not customer base. Guess you do not know they have operation cost, they run a franchise, pay for each channel they broadcast in dollars pay salaries, Abi will they continue paying local workers at the same rate without increment after the inflation? What about diesel cost, nepa bills, cost of regulatory agencies, taxes, broadcast licenses? Cost of copyright etc, heck just my small hotel another group calling themselves "moson" brought bill of N8.5m claiming copyright bills that customers use mp4 to play music in their hotel room. If you have ran businesses b4 you will know what you say is not realistic. |
