one structure University?
Yeah, lots of universities are like that, expecially those in cities. Eg university of east London I think is similar but smaller.
Notice the focus is on health sciences not the general stuff. That building will be more than enough to contain all they need. Possibly hostels will be located outside the premises. Do not forget that place was built many years ago originally as a research institute for foreign medical professionals, if I remember right, a complex was also built to house visiting researchers.

I hope there is provision of Ramp that will go all the way up.
Those that don't like elevators have the option of trekking.

Travel / Re: Price War: Ethiopian Airlines On Lagos -london Route Now Cheaper Than Air Peace by nedekid: 6:38am On Apr 08
mobisonkk2:
Other airlines can afford to be running loss on Nigeria-London route while using other routes to balance up their marginal profits but can airpeace afford to run at lost? Truth is, airpeace showed her cards at the beginning of the game which is a wrong move.

Do you know how many destinations Ethiopian airline fly? Trust me, you don't wanna know. Airpeace is just a small fry.

Why cry more than the bereaved? What is you own if airpeace can compete or not? Your own is to buy ticket. Leave the business aspect to the owners. Which one is this over concern and caring? Abi you want to advice Allen Oyema? Ie "they showed their cards at the beginning". How do you know they did that? Do you have more sense than the billionaire owner of airpeace or his team of management professionals?
Oga, buy your ticket and move on, don't put mouth past your paygrade or what does not concern you.

This is the bane of doing business in naija, so called indigenes now extort and creating problems. I drove the other day to shimawa. I was made to understand a there was attempts to fix the road, but the work stopped because the indegines demanded huge sum of money to enable the work be completed. I passed the then GSM vallage at Ikeja, oshodi road, a once booming market. The place looks deserted. I remember going there back then and touts bothering me to pay between 500-1k, even though I just drove in waited in the car for 2 for something to be brought to me. The question is as the place has closed down, who are they now extorting money from?
At akowonjo roundabout at night, you see young men with sticks stopping and harassing trunks, trailers etc every day, hitting and breaking their side mirrors.
All over the country, same wahala. How will this help business for God's sake.

Man you are very unintelligent. You talk so much nonsense all the time. Ordinarily I would chuck it up to very poor quality education but your pattern of behavior shows an extremely low IQ individual who is garrulous and not very bright .

What do you mean by consult with foreign airlines ? Did they consult with Nigerian aviation minister or sector before tripling and quadrupling their ticket prices ?

Stop always confirming our suspicion that you are very unintelligent and learn to be silent when faced with topics your handicapped IQ cant handle .

Learn to think like a patriot and not be always so hateful and negative.
Keep your stupidity focused on your family and not this nation.

We all want a better Nigeria

Technology Market / Re: This Thread Is Only For Aliexpress Shopper by nedekid: 3:33pm On Apr 07
Kingdemu:
Guys, something weird happened to me. Earlier in October, I funded my domiciliary account with $50 to make some purchases on AliExpress. I bought about 4 items totalling $39 which I've all taken delivery of. I emptied the account by converting the remaining dollars to naira using my banking app.

Just 3 days ago, I was surprised to check my domiciliary app to see the $39 refunded. I requested for my bank statement and there was no trace of any purchase on AE. It just showed as if the money was not debited at all. I tried converting $10 to naira and to my surprise the transaction went smoothly. Account wey na $0.03 before oo. I tried converting the rest and it went thru but when I tried transferring out from the naira current account it showed "Transaction unsuccessful. Security violation".

Yesterday I mustered courage and walked into the bank to complain and they checked my account, both the current and the domiciliary which was the source of the funds, and they said there was nothing wrong. The lady chatted with someone who I think was from their HQ and after series of checks for like 10mins, they concluded my account must have been flagged because of an email change I did 3 months back when making the $50 deposit into the domiciliary account (the current and the dorm are all linked with same ID). They asked if I didn't use the account since then and I said no. She told me she'd pull the reference for the email change and send to HQ so I fit waka. I was told to go and try making transfer after an hour.

Ladies and Gentlemen, after an hour, I tried and I was able to transfer all the money out successfully. So basically I made a purchase of $39 from AE for free.
Give the end of the story, how did it end up?

At the end of the day, lawyer is not free and you will still have to leave the building then pay tenant and agreement for a new place. Total will be atleast N150k.
That is extra N50k for 3 years.

And who told u that they wont increase your rent at the new place.

Nice one. They should extend it to major markets too. No the one you will go buy eg electronics, cloths etc, they will size you up, inflate the price, then make you bargain, still chop you ontop.
Imagine me pricing something, later sending my staff to go price it and he gets it for half the amount billed me.

Smh. Only ignorant people will take this OP serious.

The interview stated that the main reason is because government has been subsidising and it's unsustainable so they approved NERC's recommendation that electricity consumers who get electricity for 20 hours and above should be taken off subsidy so that government can still manage to cope giving subsidies to those enjoying less hours of electricity.

You guys better quit social media and go to great school so that Government will take you serious. That man , the Minister of Power, Adelabu, you are misquoting has a 1st Class in Accountancy from OAU, Ile Ife o.

bonechamberlain:
angry

Israel is not the only country in the world, it is a rascal, lawless and anarchical behaviour for Israel to bomb a consulate. They have virtually broken all laws known to have kept the modern world far away from anarchy and strife.

it's time for the U.S to hands off and allow Israel be taught a lesson.

The only reason why the U.S have no choice than to assist Israel is to prevent Israel from using nukes. Conventionally Israel would be levelled in less than a month fighting Iran, rather than them loosing they would take the nuclear route, hence the reason for the constant U.S interference.
It is more like Israel is doing what made Hitler stop them back in the 40s. They infiltrate government, plant jews in strategic position. They sponsor kids to join strategic organizations eg fbi, cia, they sponsor them to join politics, fund busineses, make them financiers etc, at the end of the day, they control goverment and it's policies.
Jeffery epstin, for instance was said to have been financed by insrael to be a party boy, arranging chicks for people in power, then keeping compromising recordings of them, ie kompromat that could be used to blackmail them iif they do not do as instructed.
America is ruled and controlled by the jews. The American goverment will finance Israel that has free healthcare to the extent open heart surgery, organ transplant etc are all free to Isreali citizens while in the US, if you do not have insurance or cash, you are on your own. Israel builds housing for free or highly subsidized for its citizens, but in the US, you go homeless without money.
America has been taken over by Israel. Israeli prime minister netanyahu that will disagree with Obama and then go to the senate to get it to support him against a sitting us president.

Make the cost of electricity 1k per unit, few months later, gov will say they are paying subsidy. I have said it before even when cost of a liter of petrol was 180. Make the cost 600, within months same goverment will claim to pay subsidy. Are they not currnely paying subsidy on petrol?
