RealTrump: Their story get kleg. Nobody thought to pick him up? ok, maybe d family doesn't live in Lagos n he thought to see his guys.
But what kind of person is coming to Nigeria n you guys don't know the exact date he is coming.
Is plane ticket now like GIG motors that you just wake up one random day and head to the park?
And there was nobody in that UK, not even his school admission office that could verify within a day whether or not he left UK? They now waited till June to confirm if he arrived.
Too many anyhow behaviour in one story. That family itself get k-leg.
No kleg there. Yes, these days plane ticket is even easier to buy than GIG ticket. Some people travel so easily without prior plan.
hedonido: When last did you hear this sort of thing happen? The airport taxis are all registered with FAAN, same as Uber/Bolt if he used the latter option. So I'm not really sure.
I drove past the airport toll gate from ikeja heading towards ajao Estate few days ago. I saw something that brought memories. Infact I gave my driver the gist. What did I see? A check point by the roundabout close to Sahara energy aviation tank farm. The check point was on the side of the road for traffic coming from the international airport side. My experience was 20/21 years ago, arrived naija from UK, transited through Tripoli with wify and my infant child. My bro came to pick me along with his driver. We left the airport quite late around 1am if I remember right. We got to a checkpoint just after the local airport. A police man stopped us, looked inside the vehicle and asked about the bags, I explained, even showed our passports. The man told us to bring down our boxes on the road that he wants to examine the contents!. Howwww??. I was like are you serious? He insisted ohh, expecting me perhaps settle him, I no gree. I told him at heathrow, tripoly, even in mm1 they did not search my bags, it is not on the road by 1am olopa will make me open my laugages! He said he will take us to the nearby station by that roundabout. I said I prefer that, because I was already scared for our safety. Do you know this man directed the driver to enter not the station, but the dark, deserted, secluded road that leads to NCAA? That was where katakata blew, we told the driver not to enter that close, we started making calls to alert people of what was going on. We finally got someone to speak with him sternly before he finally let us go. Armed drunk police man ohh, only him. Now imagine if it was a jjc alone with a driver in the car. Anything could have happened. He searches the laugages, finds money or other valuables, what stops the guy commiting crime? Mind you that was the period when cases of people robbed or got missing on arrival into the country. Hope it has not started again.
What kind of rubbish is this with Nigeria officials for goodness sake? My first thought was cctv to see how he left the airport only to hear they went for it but airport officials denied them access under the excuse other people's faces will show. Can you imagine that? That was how the foremost international aviation blogger Sam chui visited Nigeria and one idiot airport staff went to stop him from filming. What is the point of having cctv if you cannot use it to solve such issues? How will a citizen just "lost" and police, dss, ig monitoring team, airforce, army, lastma, man o, war, fire, boys scout and all the numerous agencies cannot find him? Omo, it beats me.
stagger: Those ones at Lugbe have turned the place into a complete eyesore. Please pack them out. Many have no single disability. Give them farm work or put them on construction sites, and their eyes will just be looking for what to steal.
Omo, the senator guy looks unrecognisable ohh Meanwhile who is the fellow with him in that range rover, his co prisoner? They should fed that man sharp sharp, feed him like pius ayim, one whole "nnama" daily to add weight.
SocialJustice: Davido dey work hard abi? Better know the boy came to earth to enjoy. Daddy did all the work and is doing more.
Oga that David guy works harder than you imagine. Without his hardwork and discipline, now way he could have achieved the success he enjoys. Abi you don't know the amount of people who have wealthy backgrounds (even on this forum) but have not had a tenth of the success david has accomplished? Let's give respect to David, he has tried. Watch the video to see how hectic his schedule is. Without personal drive, now way he will keepup, he could just chill and rest saying he is tired, but no, work work work.
Kai, we have entered one chance. Imagine handing a country to a bunch of criminals and expecting the place to work. Please remind me of what criminals go into crime for? Someone said money. Good, you handed over the bank vaults in care of career criminals. If this is not juju, what then is it?
sulaak: NNPCL is a private company; they should be competing with Dangote and not acting as the middleman. WHY IS NNPCL IMPORTING FUEL WHEN THEY HAVE CRUDE OIL AND REFINERIES
That is the question Nigerians should be asking. Nnpc here is a spoiler. How can they shamelessly indulge in importation instead of competing with their 3 refinaries?
tunwumi: If Dangote is not a dubious business this foreign fuel importer should die a natural death.
DRL is not paying transportation cost like this company. They shouldn't be able to operate if DRL is not thinking as a monopolists
Which one is the monopoly? Does nnpc not own 3 or 4 refinaries which billions of citizens money has been spent on? Should nnpc not be the one fingers should be pointed at for monopoly? Was the refinaries not meant to commence operations since the buhari time? Every month the announce pH, KD, warri will start production, they said last month, moved it to October and the story continues. If nnpc refinaries work, then you can genuinely give competition over price to Dangote.
Kelklein: Summary... Since APC came, they have created not less than 50million more poor people in 9 years.. in addition to the ones they met on ground. 15million of that is between last year and this year.
What a record.
Numbers don't lie.. we are living the reality.
As I always say, give apc the economy of Qatar, Switzerland, UAE, Norway and in 1 year the same outcome Nigerians are contending with will happen in those countries.
Logically speaking, it will be so foolish of the prison service to allow a celebrity of Bobrisky's status, that normally will attract all sorts of attention to serve jail term outside the prison wall under any guise.
I also believe he will actually be inside that prison wall....he fit come dey stay for officers office or bedroom...if they one..
But to think he will serve outside the prison wall..Na.
Enice: Prosecute who? Obi! Someone that was dancing skelewu with Jonathan! And if you like twist and turn like barber chair! Obi was a criminal. No one knows criminal acts more than him. This is a governor that awarded contracts which have been executed and due for payment. Obi signed cheques for payment of this contracts but refused to release funds for payment. He then acted as if he was handing over credit to his successor whereas these monies have been spent. Criminal
Enice: Go to Anambra and ask what Obi did to market women! He almost frustrated them out of business! Yet the state revenue did not grow. Why? Because he was using one of his aide to siphon the money to Lagos. The aide was caught in one of his trips. Fact check me!
So why didn't you prosecute him, afterall he was in the opposition, and faced a very hostile federal gov. Even after leaving office till date why not charge him as done to others since you have evidence? Go and check the debt or credit profile of the state after he left office, have you seen a thief that leaves more money than he met in the bank? A thief that will save and make you richer than he met you? Rather go to the state Oga at the top governed, his current nsa was quoted as stating that a gov took 70% of a states revenue for himself and left 30% for millions to manage.
MadPolitician: Lets look at it this way; how many people are involved in rice farming in Nigeria?? Up to 100k citizens? What do they do with their excess profits? Build factories and industries? No! Create morw high paying jobs? I'm not seeing it. Or marry new wives, then go to upper and lesser hajj, maybe then buy new cars and mansions
Compare that with this;
How many people consume rice in Nigeria? Obviously, hundreds of millions of people . Its a staple that is eaten by almost every healthy Nigerian on a daily basis. That means hundreds of millions of consumers and thousands of retailers and wholesalers.
So, for how long will the government contineu to caliberate economic policies that only carter to the well being of a few thousand greedy farmers , while millions of citizens go hungry? They don't even pay taxes! I mean the socalled farmers. They just grab grab grab and grab.
And if all they do is to buy foreign commodities and properties abroad with their profits, such behaviour still instigates capital flight. If the rice farmers are not willing to drastically reduce their prices, the border should be thrown wide open for big rice imports. We should all not die because we want to help some ruthless rice farners.
You know nothing about farming, farmers or even it's logistics. You say they do not pay taxes? Take your money, go to Eg kano, kebbi, kaduna, buy Eg 200 bags and move it by road to Lagos. Even rice is too much, buy ordinary yam, quarter of a truck, move it to mile 12 market, then come and tell us of your experience.
Meeenn, if this is true, what the heck is happening for goodness sake? The looting of this country from top to bottom in the hierarchy of power is the reason we are in this fix, the reason naira keeps loosing value, people getting poorer. I just taya..
FreeStuffsNG: Nigeria is still the major destination market for major products in Africa and West Africa. Even with the noise on vehicle importation, Nigeria is still the largest importer of vehicles in the whole of Africa!
PZ Nigeria is far bigger than any other PZ national offices in West Africa so all these your assumptions are based on ignorance of the reality. Nigeria’s economy is the jewel of Africa and it's too big to fail especially under a Genius like President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The only thing that has changed now is that Nigeria is no longer subsidizing a rent seeking container economy. Those who import now will pay the right value for the exchange rate unlike in the past where forex is subsidized and forex arbitrage was making billions for unpatriotic elements.
Mr man, PZ is selling its Nigerian subsidiary and leaving the country, how does that display the financial genius of anybody? Stop being smart by half.
jetguy: Arresting Wizkid is not the problem. But my concern now is, I bought house 🏠 around Lekki face one, and I wanted to move in, and I can't find the location since yesterday 😕😔
Telling us you are a mumu man without saying you are a mumu man.
Omo, for the younger folks, please do dna when a child is born no matter the good circumstances, even if she is godly or even a pastors daughter. Atleast it is early enough to amend and move on. But for those weh don become agalagba, na to take am as e be. Don't bother as pikins don grow, you no fit start again if you find out any magomago de. So just avoid an early grave by ignoring any test.
ufotunang: When you are living an expensive luxurious lifestyle, fly in private jets, drive luxurious flashy cars , live in mansions , your children schooling in expensive universities in foreign countries abroad, go for medical treatment foreign hospitals abroad, vacation abroad.....then how can it be enough.. ..you will have to even loot and embezzle more money to fund all this luxurious lifestyle .. that is why there is too much of looting and embezzlement among our politcians because of living an expensive luxurious lifestyle that their salaries can not fund
That senator is just catching cruise, maybe speaking on behalf of others or at best just talking for talking sake, aka "misyarn" , Abi don't you know who kalu is? He is rumored to be a billionaire in dollars. 14m for him is like a stick not even a pack of cigarettes. Abi how much does it cost for him to ride one of his personal private jets for 1hr? 8-10k USD. Then calculate a 9hr flight from naija to Washington. Man that owns the largest fleet of oil servicing vessels in possibly the whole Africa, earning hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars daily.
nedu666: Why do you say he is mad? 3 cars is not much. I have 3 and did not acquire all at once. Also car is an now an asset, no longer a liability. There are people looking for naija used, imported second hand is very expensive. So 3 is not much
I wonder ohh.. High chiefs own is even reasonable. I have 2 suvs, 1 a LC v8 for madam, me a Honda suv V6. All fuel guzzlers. Once I have loose cash, I intend getting a tiny car, if possible as small as a picanto, stalet, civic or corola as pool car for running around the area, also for the kids to use when back from school. Something that wount consume much petrol.
