YorubaNiBaba:OK, it is lamba, don't believe. Nigeria is doing well, gov officials are not stealing on a grand scale. Fuel subsidy was removed, price increased to 650 from 180, yet naira keeps deprecating. Oil production risen to almost 2m per day, yet naira keeps tanking. Go abroad and see the lifestyle of kids of these people then you will know why this country is the way it is. |
flyinnizam:He says he has 4 kids, has bought 3 houses so far, wants to buy the 4th. Ie 1 for each kid, to settle them. |
malali:Dangote has said he does not want to do again, in that case, nnpc, N delta or who ever is interested should buy him out. |
Globalhustler:If you hear how much has been spent on that building over the years on renovations, you will be shocked. |
Zwooks:Renos own will be easy. He lives abroad where the judiciary is not compromised and does not suffer delays. By the time he is slammed with $5m, his eyes will clear. |
Felabrity:I wonder. Go to some private uni, you see tiny ajebutter kids 17 in 400 level, same question I de ask, how manage? Did they enter at 13? Meanwhile, they are as smart as can be. |
The irony of it all, is that government that cannot run a refinary, that has 4, but despite billions spent to reactivate them has not produced products in many years. That same government is the one that is saying it has to grant license to dangote, same shehu that claims to have 16 engineers in dangote refinary, cannot get pH, kd, warrior refineries to work. A failure regulating a success, if this is not juju, what then is it? Foto! No be juju be dat? |
LegendHero:So you think these ordinary civil servants will have mouth to oppose dangote? When you know who the piper is, then you will know the tune being played. Those days in Chicago under the mafia, there was what was called shakedown. You give a share or profit of your business to operate within their jurisdiction. Protection it was called. When dangote wisens up, he will dance to the tune being played. |
And so? That one no be crime again for naija.. |
Afonjah:Nigerians sha get mouth. |
Afonjah:Reno too. |
yarimo:If obi is your definition of foolish, the joke is truelly on you. |
franchasofficia:Lolz, in aviation industry, refurbished tyres aka rethreaded is the norm. All of them use it, from BA, Emirates, AA, Qatar etc |
Walai, tins de happen.. |
nairavsdollars:Chicago style shakedown. Go and find out what happens in shops, businesses etc around places the mafia operates. You must give them a share of your business or percentage of earning if not, you will be frustrated. You think that civil servant is acting on his own? What gives him he morale to make such statement? I guess dangote does not want to play ball so far. But all his tormentors have to do is be patient, he will play ball because they have him by the balls, he is stuck in deep. |
MrMcJay:Lol |
Focusmind:Guy, you funny. If you think there is interest to protect your forex I laugh. You even went as far as claiming to trust him that he is a businessman. All I will say is god bless your simple mind. I refer you to ribadus youtube interview in the US where he claimed a then governor stole 70% of revenue of the richest state in the country. If you know how things work, how gangsters operate, you will know this has all the marking of a "shake down". You actually think that civil servant will make such statement against dangote without backing from the highest levels? Oga refinery should go and "negotiate". Promise the gangster heavy share of his refinary for things to workout smoothly for his business. If you know you know. |
stagger:Leave him, he is a mumu, yet he does not know. |
OChimex:Seems you don't know what is called greed. |
sIfioksq:Are you sure you understand the interview? |
Just suv? He should buy her jet is he can afford it, after all he is on the committee for navy. One day, we will have sense in the this country. We celebrate people without a know source of income while disparaging captains of industries all because of tribe. |
hurryup123:You think say you wise. It is just a matter of time. All that money you have "gained", you will pay back with begging, that is if you avoid jail term You think they are fools? Your account is probably already flagged in the computer, that have software that monitors how you recharge, eg, you buy 2k weekly before, now you but 1k not every week or monthly. They will let you relax, thinking you are smart, then swoop on you when you least expect. |
candelahria:No be last year you de find place for Abuja? Haba, you have japa so fast? Na so Una de do for here? |
Chinkoalhaji34:Maybe because buhari period no hard as it currently is. How much buhari leave petrol and how much now? Buhari left basket of tomatoes at 20k, today it is 150k, he left 1$ at N750 today it is 1600. The heavy hunger fit ginger them. |
haslaw:Oga, twist it all you care, igbos have said they will not join any protest in any part of the country. If you want to protest, do it yourselves. How hard is it for you and your cohorts to get to understand this? Is obi responsible for fuel costing 1k in some places, rice 90k, tomatoes 150k? Ohh, obi is responsible for insecurity in the north? For bandits ravaging the boundaries of Abuja, Niger?, abi obi is responsible for ones inability to perform with madam in the other room? Oga, the hall mark of failure is to blame others for ones incompetence. |
This man and is penchant for lies. If only they will take the time they us to focus on obi to use in ending poverty. Have they considered they may be the cause of any mayhem through their policies of entrenching poverty on Nigerians in every corner of the country? If the country was doing well, who will call for protest? Who will answer? Arewa folks spoke the other day of protest, was it obi or ipob that told them to do so? We have heared time and time that no igbo will protest, if there will be, it will come from other tribes, in that case, why still link obi? Ohh, I forgot, if this man or the other one. Sam the house boy, do not mention obis name 10 times daily, their blokos will not function. |
SpatialKing:Oga, listen to what that guy said. Nothing like vdms influence. Even if you as a person writes a petition against eg that fat club owner, he will be invited to clear himself of the allegations. This is normal procedure, in fact "ake" likes it because they know there is no way you will leave without dropping something. |
membranus:As I explained earlier, after commng from a distance without issues, I went to the station around 10.30pm, filled my tank. Left early by 4.30am and within the first 20km, injector lights started flashing along with some loss of power. Ie the diesel I bought was bad. As I said, I do not know if it was imported or local diesel, but it looked different from the normal diesel we previously buy. Now, from my understanding the higher the sulfur content, the likely hood you suffer damage to your engines and even environment. Read dangote's statement, he said his sulfur content is lower than the imported one, but notice he his not say that of his own. No figure! The gov official meanwhile alleged dangote own is way higher than the average in Africa. African union wants 50ppa, that man said dangote is over 500- 800. Let dangote give us his figures tested by independent labs. Do you know it is as low 15ppa in eg UK? Imagine trucks, gens breaking down mysteriously. Injector nozzles cost over £200 a piece, you have 4-8 in trucks, gens. |
Mayflowa:I doubt you live in Nigeria. You actually believe people will get their money back 10 days after application? It just like you overpay into eg Lagos state account and then expect a refund in 10 days. People that contributed pension throughout their working life complain of not getting their money, they go as far as dying. Contractors do not get paid despite huge loans. Is now people's money in accounts that does not concern government, that will the be released after 10 days? If I leave my money or idle my account for the next 10 years, how is it the concern of anyone? It is called "putting eye", they first tested the ground with people's dom accounts, but after seeing the outcry, they backed out. Government that cannot handle it's own money, now wants to help you handle yours and give you x3 after 7-10 years? It's just like ndu baby, the Aza man in sabinus skitts https://www.facebook.com/share/v/Dhh7YFgWG7SETnNV/?mibextid=D5vuiz |
Kobojunkie:You are right, it should be that way, but here in naija, it will be a waste of time. I actually went to the filling station I bought the diesel, as I am in the habit of buying from just one place, both for petrol and diesel, to enable me know the source of any problems. Anyway, they said their diesel was good and they used the same fuel to power their generators. The maintainance company I use actually checked my tank and said it was clean, ie no water, dirt in the tank. I observed the diesel to be unlike the previous dirty dark colour we normally buy. As I said it looked transparent, just like diesel you will buy in UK. My point is if the diesel looked clean, but still spoilt my vehicle, that means it has to do with the composition, hidden things like "sulfur" content. Back to your question, except you can show eg water in your vehicle tank, then, report them to DPR to come and inspect the petrol station and confirm the source of the water to be their pump, it will be hard to get any compensation. |
mightyhaze:Exactly. |
Kobojunkie:I do not think i am the one that question should be directed to. My own is to buy as a consumer and not have to suffer having to carry out expensive repairs on my equipment. As I said, I do not know the source of the diesel if imported or local, all I know was that it messed up my vehicle. |
