As for me and my family we'll be managing our solar power till when Nigeria decides to get it right.

No doubt power is expensive we know and I believe people pay according to their consumption using prepaid meters. Make the power available, fix your tariff and watch if people will not pay and use it judiciously
Can it comfortably power ACs and freezers?

PoliticsCan Tinubu And Peter Obi's Supporters Resolve Their Differences This Way? by Nefort(op): 1:33pm On Jun 19
Tinubu and Peter Obi's fans are always dragging about Tinubu or Obi being better than the other. But there is only one way to genuinely find out who is actually better than the other. Let Tinubu's fans vote for Peter Obi in the next election so that Tinubu and Peter Obi will both have four years as president, and then we compare their 4 year performances and truly determine who is actually better. grin

If Tinubu's fans are not willing to accept the challenge then it means they feel Peter Obi is better and he will outperform Tinubu. grin

Can both sides agree to resolve the conflict this way? grin

tammie24:
Yes. South East is ravaged by poverty.
Unfortunately there is no much difference between the south west and South east in terms of poverty rate. The south west should actually be far better than the south east considering the fact that the south east was ravaged by war.

tammie24:
people like you are the reason Peter Obi is in the race for presidential election today. Even when it's glaring they are wrong for the position they are vying for. And this is why south east is in the state it is today. You keep pushing and pushing and allow emotions lead. You all need to change. Be brutal with the truth and you will gain everything in terms of service delivery. I know you will never admit but this is why south west is better than south east!
Was I wrong about what I said? I don't know what you are complaining about.
What do you mean by south east being in the state it is today? Have you been to the south east and seen it is ravaged by poverty? The south east is doing fine.

He is clueless. There's no on the job training for the president. You either know what the problems are or you don't.
You heard him, he doesn't know.
jflower06:
Is PO not a Nigerian? Won't you know the problem you have in your family?
What i expect him to say is that he couldn't solve the problem not that he doesn't know the problem.
The problems that are so glaring even the blind can feel it, the deaf can see it.
LottiOk:
So what's he in d race for then ⁉️ If u don't know a problem exists then why are u clamoring to be in control ⁉️🙆🏿
What will he now use to campaign with ⁉️🙆🏿
1. I don't know what d problem in d power sector is but when I get there, I'll ask and find a solution to it 🙆🏿
2. I don't know what's d cause of insecurity but when I'm elected, I'll find out and solve it😁

Nna Obi nwanne should stop granting press releases and interviews at this time cos it further demarkets him and makes him unqualified to assume d role he's trying to win.
sleek214:
You are as clueless and confused as the one you support.
You want to be president of a country that you don't know it's problem. Obi is very dumb and dumb people support him.

Don't let nairaland kill your dream. Share your phone number, let people who have an interest contact you. All mail to anybody that have interest.

Interested, but let’s first agree on three things publicly: 1) What problem are we solving? 2) How are decisions made with no revenue? 3) What happens if someone stops contributing? After that, a private channel makes sense.
These are the things we need to decide collectively and it should not be on one man alone.

We would have to collectively choose what problem to solve. It's not something I should decide alone.

We will make decisions collectively and we choose the best solutions by majority vote.

If someone stops contributing non financially then it is same as resigning from a company.

If the person has made a financial contribution before then the person retains his stake as a shareholder or the stake gets sold.

I have had two house assistants (I rather not call them maid) and I ENJOYED it. I don't encourage using minors for domestic labour, but I employ adults. I also do not do live-in, and my decision to employ one had nothing to do with laziness or show-off. I simply conserved my time and energy for what is most important to us as a family. I would get another once I see a lady I connect with.
Which is what?
CareerRe: One Bitter Truth You Should Know As An Employee by Nefort: 4:40pm On Jun 09
Rapmoney:
This is one bitter truth you should always remind yourself of as an employee. It is even worse for people who work in organisations owned by one person or a particular family.

Your employer will never pay you what will make you have enough resources to live a comfortable life.

REASONS:
1. You will be in a better position to walk out of situations that you don't like in the workplace.

2. You will be in a better position to resign and start your own business.

Most Nigerian employers are just like the government. They give you just what is enough for you to survive, and not to succeed.

As an employer, you should realize that the people working for you also have their personal dreams and visions. Your business is your vision, and not theirs. So as they work for you to build your vision, the job should as give them the platform to build theirs. If your vision is being built, and theirs remain unachievable, then there is something wrong with you and your business system.

Last week, I attended a webinar where one of the so-called Nigerian industry giants was admonishing workers to be dedicated and put in their best. I didn't have any issue with that, but when he concluded by saying that salary doesn't matter, that what matters is passion and dedication, I shook my head. We have really lost it! You fly first class to different parts of the world. You buy choice properties. Your kids attend some of the best schools abroad. All from the proceeds of your business, and you open your mouth to tell me that salary doesn't matter?
The picture illustration you used is so wicked

No need of link , let's talk about it here.

It has been my dream of starting a company that my children can inherit and not running a man's business.

What are the proposals.
At some point we will still need to move out of this place. A link will still eventually be needed especially when a trade secret or sensitive business plan is being developed. We wouldn't run everything on Nairaland. I don't know why a part of the link was deleted. "forms" and "." and "gle" was deleted after the https://

If Nairaland had specialized sections for things like this similar to Slack, that's what we would have used. Unfortunately Nairaland refused to grow beyond the current format since 2005.

Anyway, the essence of this post is just to recruit a larger manpower to work on a business idea of our choice and establish a company from there.
BusinessCan We Build A Company Together? by Nefort(op): 1:43pm On Jun 09
Most of us intend to start a business but we feel discouraged by the resources it requires to establish the business. Most of us due to greed to eat everything alone want to run a one man show which makes the task overwhelming for a single individual. The fact is that we don't really need to do it all alone or have billions in capital or have a shiny skyscraper as an office building before we start doing something. We can always start from scratch and scale. We can actually start from building manpower. Assembling the manpower alone is a major step to huge success.

Even if no revenue is being generated yet, a larger and distributed manpower makes it easier to volunteer part time to build a company while working for what pays the bills. Progress becomes harder and slow when the manpower is few. We can actually stay in our respective remote locations and collaborate online and grow.

Big companies like Apple, Amazon and Microsoft all started small in a little room. If these companies started from a little room then I believe we can do better if we have a distributed team of manpower in different smalls rooms across different locations. This means we have already started bigger than small.

If you are interested in being part of a larger manpower to start a company please indicate your interest by visiting the following the following link: https:///hLjTTDbsffZQdNeU9

This little Eagle 🦅 fell from high mask some weeks ago, I decided to nurture it, it's extremely stubborn and violent, it eat only raw fresh meat or freshly killed lizard.

This morning I decided to bath it , it was calm and feeling cold and after sunlight exposure, it's resume it violent behavior again.

What i do with it, should I release it or keep nurturing it, I heard it has some medicinal value, or what is the economic value of this little Eagle?.
If they put you in a cage like that would you like it? If you wouldn't like it then animals wouldn't like it too. Please leave animals to enjoy their freedom.

How pls.

Enlighten me.

You know it's not all about writing. What about the selling aspect?
He made an entertaining comment and his comment can be a snippet from his novel. He can then follow up and say something like: "If you want to read more and continue the story check out my book through this link...".
This works only when you write something very interesting just like he did. If you continue writing that way in various comment sections across the social media platforms you will get enough exposure and sales with time.
