MyVILLAGEpeople:Nobody needs to die. It is just as simple as reducing the birth rate. The problems Nigeria is having today is not just only about bad leadership. Nigerians are over-breeding their capacity and then they start blaming the government. As long as Nigerians keeps over-breeding you will all keep suffering. |

Romance / Could This Be An Evidence That Shows Women Are More Matured Then Men? by Nefort: 9:22am On Apr 20 |
You don't need to be a regular visitor of Nairaland to notice that the male members of this forum are really aggressive and bitter towards women. The first day anyone visits Nairaland he or she must surely comes across a comment from some random male saying "Women are useless". But you don't get to see the same high level of aggression from the female members towards men. The situation is so bad that even when a topic says a man murdered a lady you will still see men on the comments blaming the lady for the crime. I am really wondering what could be the reason why men on this forum are angry with women. I felt maybe it is the reaction from men who got rejected by a lady, but I also had it in mind that also men cheat, abuse and reject women. So why are women not also coming here to voice their anger and bitterness towards men? Are men just being immature? 8 Likes 2 Shares |
Politics / How To Crash The High Prices Of Items In The Market by Nefort: 8:50am On Apr 20 |
I see people complaining that the prices of items in the market still remain high despite the fact that the dollar price has depreciated. I even read somewhere that the government is trying to intervene which I found amusing. This is actually a problem that can easily be solved by market forces if the right steps are taken by the public. The following steps can be taken to ensure prices of items stay at the optimal level: 1. Don't be loyal to any seller Whenever you want to purchase any item it is recommended to check different sellers of the same item and figure out which seller offers the best price. Seller A can offer a better price than seller B. If you are only loyal to seller B then you will keeping getting the same high price from seller B. 2. Give feedback to other sellers Whenever you want to buy and item and you visit seller A, seller B and seller C, if seller C gives you the best price please try and give seller A and seller B a feedback if possible to inform them that you got the item at a better price. This feedback will draw the attention of other sellers to the price competition and will make them adjust their prices accordingly to stay in business. For instance I visited the market to buy an item and I made price inquires from 3 different shops or more. After I got a better a price from one of the sellers I passed through the stores of other sellers to inform them I have bought the item at a better price. Giving them price feedback makes them reconsider their own price to stay in business. 1 Like |

vowiski:I don't think you have been following events closely. Russia's economy is no where near "depleted". Putin already succeeded in isolating the Russian economy from Western sanctions and Russia is currently doing just fine. Russia still has a formidable military and they will crush Isreal if it involves a one on one battle as long as the west wouldn't get involved. |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Israeli War Cabinet: No Going Back On Attack On Iran In Clear & Decisive Manner by Nefort: 9:06pm On Apr 16 |
vowiski:Its not about the money. Its about the cost of living. The cost of living in the US is high and they will have to pay their soldiers higher salaries and also pay employees of the defense industry higher wages as well. Weapons and equipments will also cost higher due to labour cost. In China for instance, the cost of living is lower and this means they will spend less budget getting the same military manpower and equipment the US has. 1 Like |

Think about the cartoon drawn in Europe which sparked violence in the North. Think about the violence when Buhari lost election. Think about other instances southerners were killed in North. |
