The thing I noticed about Oga Paulinus is that he's not consistent with his info. On my own interview day, he didn't allow any bags, no matter how tiny. Infact, he almost didn't even allow any documents that's not in the checklist (YES, fact!). Like I said earlier, he's not consistent. Best option is go with folder. Drop your bag at home, hotel or at the entrance of Walter Carrington.

Try and go earlier so that you can be interviewed before noon, so that you can go back to your hotel and carry your bag. Good luck.

To those that have submitted their passport and travel insurance and are yet to receive it back, I advise you to visit the office of the courier company you used, the Embassy has sent my package to them( FedEx) and they kept my Visa and original documents in their office, so i had to go there today with my receipt and collect my package.

What does it mean if your passport is given back to you after the interview

Processing time is 4-6wks. In some cases it's earlier, while in some cases it's later. Just remain calm and give it at least 4wks. Good luck.

You can't use NPC if you were born before 1992. Age declaration is the fastest. It should be done by the head of your family at a court. Costs 500. And it's "wait and take". Good luck.

I wrote the state I reside in and the date I filled my form and it was accepted. As always, different VOs with different mode of operation.

This is NOT correct. I put the state I'm residing but my VO asked me to Change it to LAGOS because that's where I'm being interviewed.

Hand written or electronically is acceptable. Use office clip to hold your passports.

I haven't seen anybody here mention IJMB or Cambridge here before (personally I don't even know what it means). Admission requirements can only be seen both on daad.de and programme website.

What it means is that the photocopies must be certified (either at the embassy, by a notary public, or court). Secondly, if the language of your documents isn't English or German, then it should be translated to either English or German. Good luck

You've to be smart and lucky because Paulinus could be unpredictable at times. During my time, he only checked the first two sets he called out. After which, he didn't check again. But like I said, he's unpredictable. Good luck buddy.

Applied to over 5schools, the one I wanted to settle for was Karlschule which was going to charge me 950euros monthly, I hate the course but I was going to settle for it regardless...However, interview was done through Skype and I was denied...I applied for another course, this one was completely free and it was offering courses II really love, I thought I won't get it bit I was surprised when I was admitted.....God is wonderful!
Interview, i was mistakenly given wrong address but eventually was given another appointment so:

23 days later (3wks later) AM landed

What I'm about to write now is my experience and should be used as a mere guide and you can decide to follow it or not. I'll not be scrutinised for it.

The way to follow Paulinus is by being smart, quick and give him the impression you absolutely know what you're doing.
I went with my NECO and WAEC. I only intended to use my NECO because my WAEC had a wrong date of birth. Paulinus saw my WAEC lying idle and he of course used me to shine. Shouted and threatened to send me to the back. So I added the WAEC just to make him happy. Immediately I went inside, I carefully removed it. After my interview, I asked the VO must I use both WAEC and NECO? He said NO!!!!! So why would Paulinus ginger me to use both results?

Give Paulinus the impression you're on top of things. He wouldn't put eye in your matter.

Appointment letter 1st inside the passport on d 1st chair den application forms on two separate chairs making it 3 separate copies, #Note d 1st place where I placed d passport and appointment letter was for originals d remaining two for photocopies I.e where I placed d application forms, den declaration forms (2) placed on d two App forms, next passport data page (2) on d photocopies two.... Sorry I won't b able to explain all but d real expo is arrange ur docs dis way: Original doc den two photocopies at d back of each original such that when u pick any original ur photocopies nxt do DAT for all ur originals and photocopies and u won't have problem with Paulinus.... Paulinus use me do example to others as him see say my arrangement Swift.... He said all of look at this man he is like you he has been smart with his arrangement infact paulinus made me feel like I don sail tru interview.... I was ushered in around 6:50am I was d second person in DAT waiting room the first like came on from room 2, d girl went inside I was waiting... Lo and behold room 3 light came on naso I entered the room I saw the dark guy on Afro I was like God don favour me today.....
