LG G4. No complaints. NONE!! Upside: Display is Quad HD. Battery lasts a full day and more at full throttle. Sound is superb. Very responsive. Intuitive design! SD Card support(I have 128GB SD card inside) |
Proffdada:That's a Polaris Slingshot! About $26k. Nice recreation vehicle! Not your everyday toyota or benz! So you are right, its on his bucket list. Mine as well ![]() |
With the recent CBN ban on naira denominated international transactions, can someone tell me how we will purchase international services? web hosting, domain name registration, online courses, buying cars etc? I just want to know if there is a better method than buying aboki dollars! Paypal etc don't seem to be working either. |
Let us face facts people!! Wiki the annual revenues of popular blog sites, Huffington post, Gizmodo, Mashable, TMZ, TechCrunch, and check their annual revenues. There is a gap that needs to be explained. I'm not saying she did or did not collect money from PDP, and I do wish her well. But even at that, consider her standing with other Nigerian bloggers sef and you begin to wonder about the gap. Either she's doing something right, and all the others are doing it wrong, or, it could also be that she's treading in places where others refuse to. Anyway, its her money and its her business. Even if she collected the entire $2.1bn, it will not reach my hand anyway, as I haven't worked that far. But whose money is it? Who has the right to just squander our collective revenue just like that? I think somebody should be shot , but its not Linda, abeg. If it is true, whoever places such value on bloggers and shells out our money is to blame. |

lookandlaff:You are right, my mistake. I just looked at the invoice. The Macan is almost the same price as the Cayenne GTS, around N34M with customizations. That said, In all things, we should seek the truth, and I truly doubt that this pastor knows every member of his church or at least has a mechanism or system in place for close commune with his church members. This is what is required by God of pastors first. The pastor is accountable to God for the lives of his/her members. I have no problems with him buying a Targa S or a Bombardier Jet if he wants, but in buying it when many of his members are languishing in squalor, there is something wrong. I know for instance, that many people dress so elegantly on Sundays to these churches, but are only hiding their problems behing the gele and very nicely cut cloths. The churches therefore look very opulent on the surface and perhaps this is why the pastors are not in touch with the problems of the congregation. |
lookandlaff:No. N34m. I saw it myself |
I saw this same car when I went to Porsche place at Akin Adesola just some weeks ago. Dealer said the owner customized it extensively and bought an additional Macan S for his wife. This car is a little over N34m, the Macan S is also around that price. #Giftmyfoot! Iranu! Oshi! |
I think this campaign of calumny should stop. If there is any credence to what is said, EFCC is the way to go, not releasing rubbish to the public. |
Anyone with specific car model can reply this thread. Note the details of the specs please. |

I dont see why he cannot make HTML 5/JavaScript Apps for the smartphone and desktop. Development is easier this way across all devices. |
The one I remember is seaman's schnapps, with baba aluwe and oga bello. Where baba aluwe asked bello to look at iya awero's ass, and quickly stole/drank his cup of schnapps. Old school things!. But I don like paraga since small share! |
Op is right! Banks and hedge funds are the major players in most markets.Because they are not forced by law or accounting conventions to declare profits from their trading desks, its usually declared as part of other securities".But fx forms a huge part of their profits because they can leverage very little money to take very large positions. However, what op is selling or trying to sell is the "retail market" for stocks commodities derivatives etc, which is different from what the banks do. While the objective is the same, there are differences between modus operandi of the retail traders and major players. Please be guided. |
Buy an hybrid like the Asus Taichi, Lenovo Thinkpad Helix and Dell XPS. U get the best of both worlds. One issue with this option is that most hybrids have only WIfi. You will need spend extra on an internet device like the mobile Wifi devices most ISPs are selling. If you have a mind to it, you can install any flavor of windows, linux or android, doesn't matter if most hybrids come with windows. Most of them come with solid state drives, so the risk of disk crashes is very little. Most low-end hybrids come between $600 and $800. If you can splurge $4000, you will also find something. A few things to watch out for: 1. Power cable: Find a hybrid that has a standard power port and power cable....something you can easily replace from Ikeja. If not, you may have to order from overseas. The demand for hybrids and their aftermarket parts has not risen enough in Nigeria, so many suppliers may not stock parts. 2. 1x USB 3.0 and 1x HDMI should be standard. Anything less you are short-changing yourself. 3. Spend money on a very good case/folder, so that scratches do not damage your machine's looks. PS: I am using an ASUS Taichi DH51 to write this. Works very good. I have 2 virtual development servers running 24/7 and the performance has not reduced. At about $600, it is low-end, but satisfies my needs. Comes with a USB3.0 port and adapters for HDMI and VGA over the FireWire port. I'll advise you check the Dell XPS also. It is lighter than the Asus, and for equivalent/slightly better hardware, about $200 more. |

jeebz: Python can be used to develop GUI apps using a GUI framework such as TKinkter and WXPython. You can also build Web apps using frameworks such as Django, CherryPy or Bottle. Nairaland is currently built with Python. I developed a mini web app for computing students grade using python and Django framework.Try PyQT(essentially just binding APIs for QT) for GUI. Very good framework!! |
