Lala, food don come o |
ivolt:How many human sacrifices have you seen in Christianity or Islam in 2021? Or are you saying we are as barbaric now, as in the bible days? 2000+ years ago? |
elonmuskbaby:All the respect we have been having, kilobade? A failed nation, full of failed leaders at every level. Maybe if small boys called Diezani baby girl back then, she would have striven to prove she no be their mate. Frankly, we should start insulting all of them, until they prove otherwise. They brought it upon themselves, raising children with half education and low IQ! |
How much? |
Not credible. No mainstream media outlet has carried this news. We shouldn't peddle fake news |
DrChukki:Why does he need 3 private jets when his church members are poor? I don't think anyone said he has to be poor, but even he needs to fly, why have 3 planes. The cost of Funding 2 on a regular basis is enough for a social intervention for say, widows, or youths in the community, and/or in other communities. And please, whatever they intervention you might claim they have now is not enough. They can always do more. Let's not defend this, please! |
Why should I? It's not my fault that sarcasm is lost on you, is it? 'Better a witty fool than a foolish wit' - William Shakespeare Igwe29: |
Igwe29:Well, maybe I can. You sound like the only advice you can give your kids will be to dash pastors or imams money, and things will be fine. Difference is you will be enabling this same failed state, not your child! I come in peace... |
None!!. Did someone say computer science? Or medicine? So, join boko haram, or Ipob, or bakassi boys and wait for your amnesty payday. The govt will not only sponsor you to Russia for studies, they will give your cronies billions, free!! You end up better educated than you would in a Nigerian University, and you and your cronies can either continue to demand more or float businesses you would not otherwise dream of. Same said 9ja govt will become your customers! When you become 40, you enter politics and join the senate, or become a governor, and the looting continues. Meanwhile your mates in computer science and medicine that entered uni normally never graduate due to strikes. If they did, they are still looking for employment after nysc. Hope you catch my drift Sha? If you can't leave this country now, don't delude yourself! |
Richdee1:You missed the sarcasm!! |
Lala, food done come oo!! |
Oga Seun, I'm not saying you should not improve the site o, but don't do it because of comments on Twitter. Make our people no use mouth spoil market.

DMPaulSr:Guy, no vex, but your nose don block! Rub aboniki and go under ijora Costain in bridge. Then come back and try to say this again |
@Lala, food don come o! Makavelli25: |
I supported Buhari in both elections, but I think this is abuse of power and blatant disrespect to taxpayers. Why was she not in a Nigerian school? If she was, the president would probably have paid better attention to our schools. Why should we, as taxpayers, or as Nigerians, use our money to support the pet project of the president's daughter? These things leave a foul taste in the mouth, and it only shows the truth, which is that APC or not, Buhari or not, these guys do not really care what we think! Sham of a country |
Do you know this online business end to end? Are you aware of all of the risks involved? In any business, there is a buy side, and a sell side. Are you aware of the dealings on your side? On the other side? I see people mention dangote etc on this thread, but the truth is, they know everything about the industry they do business in. If you do, then by all means, do what you wish. If you don't, stick to school. |

[quote author=Nne5 post=61047710]Helplessly watching my mother die.Knowing I wouldn't be able to do a thing to save her. Those hours, painful long hours, I'll never forget...[/quoste] This is exactly my own traumatic experience. Mine took 6 months to happen and drained everything from me.....emotions, money, time, friends, family. In the end, I learnt that life is too short for anything other than serving your God and having good memories. Sorry about your loss! |
Mr. Anderson! We have been expecting you. |
You are 24, and going to youth service!!! You are at the prime of your life and you can plan your life without distractions and without anybody clogging up your mind. You can chase paper without stress! And the problem of your life is now girlfriend? Haba? |
Happy birthday! |
There are so many things that make for speed. How are the chips made? What is the bus length? How much caching can it do? All of these and more also determine actual speeds! As car fanboys will say 'how does it translate when rubber meets the road?'. Granted, more cores mean that you have more processing power, how much of this does the app actually use? You will find most apps will use only one or 2 cores and the others will be idle. I think your device purchase should be based on your needs, not core count. For instance, if you like videos and games, your device may benefit more from more ram and a graphics coprocessor, than 10 cores. If you do massive online gaming and streaming, you may benefit from more cores. If you like to watch HD movies, a QHD screen, plus lots of storage and ram will benefit you. Of course, high clock speeds are important, but must be considered with other factors, not in isolation. My opinion!! Need a high end gaming PC? Let's talk. |
Op, there are people with foreign masters that are being offered 35k salary. Please hold on to your job and do the part time degree. When you finish, you will have a job to sustain you into the next offer. Plus they won't offer you less than you currently earn. Free story o! |
Ha Op. Very good question. I will never forget the reason for the decision. My friends had been telling me to get a car for a long time o. I felt it was just a status thing and so thought i did not need one. After all, BRT dey, Okada dey! Between them I could get anywhere. At a point BRT services started degrading but then, there was still danfo now? One morning, na jeje I dey go work o. I don call okada, me and that one don dey yarn. I like to engage them sometimes to hear their story, but mostly in a bid to make them slow down. Out of nowhere o, this small girl just burst into the road trying to cross! The girl could not be more that 7 years old o. My okada man swerve once, face trailer, swerve twice, face stationary vehicle, swerved a 3rd time, next thing I knew, we were under a 40 footer!. I managed to survive with a few bruises. I was home for about a week. But my okada man lost his leg 2 months later. I had tried to find him to no avail. So after the accident, they took both of us to the hospital, but I left same day to another one. Unknown to me, his people took him to his village where they treated his broken leg traditionally. When we found him and brought him down, it was really bad, they had to amputate him. After all the fiasco, I called my car-savvy friend. 'Ogbeni, how much dem dey sell car?'. That was it!!!. Looking back, I guess I believed the hype to get property first before cars, but today, I can tell you for certain that a small car is more important than your 1st house. As long as you don't buy a jaguar as your first car, then the house will come naturally. It makes life easier, going about your business easier. Note that I'm talking to people like me with limited resources o, if you have money to do both in 1 day, no worries! Also note that this is peculiar to Nigeria and places where there is no developed transport system. People in Europe and UK may not understand the point. |
1 thing you must understand clearly is that you will be broke, and you will feel broke even when you have money. For the most part, building a house is an emotional thing for most people. You want to build a house that you are comfortable in, that reflects your tastes, that shows who you are to the world. That being said, you will be attracted to materials that are way beyond your budget or income. That is why you will spend all your earnings trying to put love in the house. Nevertheless, I will confess 1 thing to you. There are very few feelings as good as your first night's sleep in your own house, even if its just 1 room you have yet completed. |
FulaniMafia, thanks for this! Raises my hopes for the country. fulanimafia: |
Prof. no offence meant! Just making a point....its a free country, afterall ProfDumbledor: |
ProfDumbledor:As much as I appreciate good things coming out of Africa, I am tired of all the internet motivation craze going on! This Jelaini guy is claimed to have designed the Chevy Volt. His name is not on wikipedia as one of the designers: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Volt FYI, Philip Emeagwali is NOT the father of the internet. Please google Tim Berners-Lee. Mr. Emeagwali managed to win $1000 in a competition about reservoir flow(oil and gas people, chemical engineers etc will know about this). His PhD topic wasn't even approved. I hate to burst your bubble, but when I see how we ascribe other people's work to Africans, just to look good, I wonder if there is so much mediocrity and paucity of ideas in the land in terms of science and tech. We have great guys in music, finance, management, etc, the world over...but in tech, (as in real tech frontiers, not hacking up websites), I still think we are very behind. Reasons are not very far fetched sha. There is no light, no security, no hospitals, no potable water....how could we think about tech? |
receive sense, in Jesus name!!! |
