@Op, As a married man, I really don't think that anything is going on between them. The man cut across like someone you have a lot of regards for.. And so your wife fears and respects him wey too much than he deserves. I see ur wife as a kind woman who is empathetic to your Brother's situation and would not want to add to his woes. She's expecting you to handle the situation by setting clear boundaries for your brother.. You can't cede that responsibility to her. How can someone come to my house and be shouting my wife's name? Them no born am |
Cool down bros.. Even though 30k is the minimum wage.. The guy pays the lady some other benefits.. Shelter.. Good food.. Clothing.. And mayb some unmentioned stuff. Also, no need for transportation ó. When the ladies family member is in crises, who do u think they'll run to first? So the 15k is like what the lady saves monthly. When Govt pays u 30k, they don't care where u live, how u feed, how u come to work and all that.. How many people can boast of 15k after those major expenses? @Poster, you have my respect Joor.. Wild goose chase |
Lord have mercy.. Please forgive our undoing. We are helpless and clueless.. Our eyes are on you. We just can't continue like this.. |
Well, I think the illusion itself is the figure the Op was just dishing out. Na million u dey talk without respect... I work in d industry and I can confirm to u that for you to start getting 1M per month, u must have worked for like 10 yrs. This is just d case with most other high-paying jobs out there. U know what Managers and above earn in Banks and telecoms.. Before I crossed to the industry abt 3 yrs ago, I used to think that money flows like a river there.. I left my banking job to take up a permanent employment in an oil coy. All na wash, so much hype.. Nothing more. Infact I had a better sense of fulfilment in d bank. I just like d industry because it affords better job security than Banking. The aspect of becoming father Christmas is unavoidable, u go tire self.. I can't remember when last I lavish 30% of my salary on my family! In all, it is d best industry to work if u are disciplined. Never leave beyond ur means.. And plan properly.. You must develop the ability to saying no to some ridiculous requests, else.. Monkey go dey work, baboon go dey chop. Like people have said on this platform, no matter how much u earn as an employee, it is nothing compared to the fulfillment that comes with being an employer. By God's grace, I am getting there. |
Thanks man. I got the PIN as promised. Great job you are doing! |

micgray100:Wow, problem solved! May God bless u for this offer. @op pls grab the offer now! |
First I congratulate you for getting this job. u are one of the luckiest chaps in Naija. Ask many people, they'll tell u they started off with far less. In my case, I started with 26k and to God be the glory coz today, I don't even know how much I earn. To ur question, Please take the offer, there is always a way when there is a will! Since u said u can afford to pay 70k on accommodation now, pls get an accommodation in Ketu or Mile 12. It will cost u far less than 70k to rent a room- well it's gonna be Face me I face u but who cares. You may set a target of one yr for urself to get better accommodation within d vicinity. With this option, u'll spend max of #200 on transport per day. plus food is very cheap at Ketu/mile 12. Take it, and just stay focused and like many of us, u'll have a good story to tell. God bless u |
Hello, can you give me d price breakdown of d 3.5kva inverter/solar complete unit pls |
What a profile! With this, he has demonstrated that he has what it takes to co-steer the country aright. We have huge expectations from dis administration. . great is d volume of works ahead.. brace up prof. I hop u'll make us proud at d end of your tenure as we promise you our support. God bless Nigeria |
Well it's a whole lot of responsibility. So much expectations as u r expected to set pace.. not just any but good ones. I thank God I am able to play my part.. I really think it's much easier when God blesses one. I think it's hightime we started praying for more blessing and d wisdom to justify that position. @ dahmie2013, I understand how it feels. Pls don't be discouraged, keep pressing on, u r almost there. You can't even tell maybe God has blessed you because of the position he puts you. I believe everyone, especially your parents are proud of you and they are praying for you. Nothing beats that in one's quest for success. However, I encourage you to invest in yourself too. You shouldn't put ur life on hold because of that. Here is what I do: 1. I cut down all unnecessary expenses (perhaps that's y I am so local and boring . from house to work to church. No party!, I would rather wash my car than take it to carwash.. that's like N 1500 savings weekly, I cook so no spending on expensive lunch and dinner). 2. Have a fixed percentage from ur salary say 30% (u really have to be reasonable here) for settling family and pls stay disciplined to it. 3. U need an understanding partner. ..so difficult to comeby.. u need God's favour to find one.. and make sure she's working so that she can at least take care of herself 4. Believe in urself and stay true to ur dreams; invest in ur dreams. . That's what will keep u going in future. 5. Stay close to God as He is the greatest burden bearer (Casting all ur care on him because he cares for u). He makes things so easy.. also, please remember to pay ur tithe One thing I can tell you is that you'll never miss the reward. |
How much boss? |
Hi OP, I am interested in leasing a petrol station in Lagos. Do u have one in good location? What is the rent/premium? I will appreciate if I can get the pictures too Thank you. |
I can assure you that Abuja is safe. I relocated to Abuja from Lagos in May and trust me, I am already forgetting the memory of Lagos. No stress, better infrastructures, better standard of living, etc. Give it a try and I assure you that you'll not regret it. |

Have a great week ahead. |
^^^ you are indeed blessed. There is no issue with ur wife getting preggy. Unprecedented blessing they call it. On ur son, there is no cause for alarm too. I remember my daughter was like that, there was nothing we did not do to encourage her to walk b4 she clocked 1. Barely a week to her 1st Birthday, she just stood up and walked.. We were all so amazed at dat sight. Also, to get her to eat or take drug was always war. She just woke up one day and started opening her mouth on her own accord.. Now she takes virtually everything eatable! You have no reason to be worried.. neither does ur wife.. God makes everything beautiful at His time! |
Thanks people for all ur suggestions. I eventually got d family a nice water dispenser. Thanks again! |
Hi peeps, the sendforth of my great pastor is holding tomorrow. I am at lost as to d gift to present this man of God and his wife. Kindly help suggest gift items. My budget is 20 to 30k. The man played a fatherly role in my life and was always there with prayers, encouragement and support, and so was his wife untill they were transfered. Helpful suggestions would b highly appreciated. |
@op, so many wonderful advises here. please always remember that someone sacrificed to get where u are now! The best time you can help ur siblings is now. Who knows mayb God has even blessed you for their sake? Please hang on a little more.. pray for the success of your siblings.. I bet u, your mother will always b blessing u in her heart. Oh, I remember one of my friends dad in your situation, he barely had nothing while raising up his own kids b/c of various family problem or the other.. most of my friend's cousins were trained by this man. I can't remember going to their house and meeting less than 5 relatives at any time. Today, the man has retired-the very day he got his retirement letter was d day his first born got a job at cheveron (hope u know what that means). D second born is a lawyer doing very well, the third born studied agric in school and now works with Total. D last born is the only one managing in a bank.. My dear, God is not unjust to forget ur labour of love. Do it wholeheartedly and God will bless u |
I really don't know why pple have this notion about one of the most honorable professions around. I am married to a beautiful nurse and behold.. it's been heaven on earth! when a young girl is bad, no matter what she turns out to become, she will always b bad. just take a look at what happens at NYSC camps, u'll see ladies of different professions(lawyers, teachers, farmers, doctors, hajias and even pastors daughters) messing up big time.. many of dem sleep with even those soldiers..ordinary recruits... stop looking at d profession, look at d person. peace! |
jennykadry: A pastor announce suspension in church, are you kidding me?So many pple were looking up to me in church then, he was left with no choice.. I was a Sunday school teacher. But it was not easy.. |
@OP, I once wore the shoe, so I know where it pinches! To me, Abortion is never a solution, but a temporary fix. When it happened to me, I thought of how disappointed my parents, siblings, friends, colleagues and even my pastor would be.. the easy way out could have been abortion! on the second thought, I remembered so many friends I have that are still trusting God for babies after many years of marriage, more importantly, how could I because of men commit greater sins against God (beside d fornication that landed me into d mess). We decided to give d babdy a chance and organized wedding 3 months into d pregnancy. oh I remember how pple jeered at me when my pastor was announcing my suspension and how my friends deserted me.. so do not expect it easy.. pple will tag you stupid and ur middle name will b fool. in all I am glad I took that decision cos seeing d beautiful daughter she turned, makes me d toast of d town. besides, she is so intelligent that everyone is saying only a fool would not give d baby that wonderful chance to live. Abortion is never worth it, Solomon was a product of fornication but he became the king because he was given a chance. give dt baby a chance and watch out what he/she will turn out to b |
