WebmastersRe: Google's "Get Nigerian Businesses Online": Another Manoeuvre? by NET1(m): 1:42pm On Sep 30, 2011
bossinie:
Adding value is what any business that will thrive is all about & Google is truly ahead in this crusade no doubt. What i am saying is that we need to look beyond the now to the future in the overall interest of our Nation and it's economy.

I have consistently blamed our leadership for it's failure in effectively creating and enforcing policies that seek to protect our indigenous companies from being over-run by foreign ones with bigger financial & technological strength.

Frankly,i support Google's investment in Nigeria but i do not support our government giving them the kind of access that will be detrimental to the survival of our indigenous companies.
Also there should be a compulsory ideological sharing platform for the effective transfer of technology. smiley
profoundly remarkable and on-point!

I dont think she was pretending (as you want us to believe). You, my friend were a dog in a manger! Most gurls may not openly show you that they care about you, but a little pressure here and there might just be the trick.

You are the one who bleeped up. Too bad for you, she is already in a relationship. I hope you aint trying to persuade her to leave her new man and follow you. Better luck next time. When you see a good girl you wanna be with, stop hesitating.

What to do? Find another chic.

Poster, why are you embarrassing yourself like this? Some people have politely tried to correct you here today, but you choose to wallow in your destructive indifference. I know there are still women of class and style out there who'd never come to an open forum to spew this kinda rubbish.

Abeg, for the sake of your dignity (that's if you still got some left), stop further postings on this issue. Postings like this make us (men) to think most women are cheap whores. Stop embarrassing your community abeg.

I'm back Lola! smiley
I'll start with asking you a simple question. Whose happiness is more important? Yours or the people here that dont know the turmoil of emotions you are going thru? Do any one of us realize how much you really and truly love this guy? Would you rather be proud, and not ask him just because there is an unwritten code that says, 'the guy must ask out"? Lola, i'm not a fan of unwarranted nonsensical egotistical behavior, that i some times categorically refer to as "gallivanting bullshit"! This is your heart we are talking about! Would you let a good thing pass you by, because you were too proud to stretch your hand? Do you know if the guy has been expecting your response all along, cos he made the first move, by saying you guys would make sense together? Pls realize that NOT ALL GUYS are MACHO when it comes to matters of the heart, also realize that not all relationships are meant to be formally or officially initiated, by the guy! It doesnt take anything out of you, does it? It also doesnt make you look demeaning, does it? Afterall, you did not just meet him! Look at this scenario. You already know him, you know when he's strong, weak, angry, happy, infact you can almost predict him! He makes you happy, you feel protected and safe when u are with him. You two already have chemistry. My dear, would you rather let him go, start a fresh relationship, and keep missing him, even when you get married to another, all because you were too proud to ASK? C'mon girl! All he'll say is yes or no! Does he bite? Or am i missing something?
Conclusively Lola, be the architect of your own happiness! NO ONE here, not even me, knows your own emotional infrastructure, more than you do! Dont allow some people use their Reggae Music, to spoil your R&B! Cheerz Babe! wink
this guy, you go kill person here today with these your high-sounding words. grin grin grin cheesy cheesy cheesy abeg, take am easy! no be everybody follow you go cambridge cheesy cheesy grin grin grin.

Meanwhile, howz today? Happy Sunday. I hope say you go church o.

@OP, it's either you tell this guy your mind or you move on, and then only wonder for the rest of your life how he would have responded to the invitation. You've known him for years. You know him better than we do. It's your call. We humans, sometimes put the barriers that rob us of happiness and limit us in Life.

@all the guys here. If you are the type who'll despise a lady for expressing her mind to you, I tire for you o.

All the disciples of Jesus Christ had meaningful jobs before they started following Jesus.

James, John and Peter were fishermen
Luke was a physician
Matthew was a Tax collector wink

and so on.

Personally, I dont understand how you allowed yourself to be deceived into marrying a man whose ONLY source of income is a church which he has not even started.

You can either build an SQL Server database from scratch by installing the SQL Server software CD. Just buy MSSQL Server 2008. However, the express edition is free.

Alternatively, you can connect your Access forms to an SQL Server database engine by taking the following steps:

1. Open your Access database.
2. Click on the Database Tools Menu. In the 'Move data' subset, click on SQL Server. The wizard that follows should be able to help you connect your Access Forms to your SQL Server Database.

Gaskia! wink

RomanceRe: My friend and my feelings.... by NET1(m): 1:23pm On Sep 23, 2011
During my University days, there was this chic who had a long crush on me (and I did not know). She did not know how I was going to respond (or react) if she ever told me about her feelings. Sometimes, I observed that she was acting up somehow whenever I was around, but I did not bother myself, because I didnt know what was on her mind (I dont read minds)

One day, she mustered the courage to tell me. Although we eventually did not date, we became BETTER friends. She became her normal self and did not have to bother herself about how I was going to react ('cos I explained politely without insulting her, why we could not be intimate).

Today, she is married to a very nice guy and we are still very good friends and she still holds me in high esteem.

Lola, my advice is that you sit down with this guy and tell him your mind. From your description, you've known him for a while, so I know he won't bite. If he returns your love, then congrats. If not, no wahala! At least, you have let it off your chest. Stop burning slowly my dear. Tell him how you feel. Who knows? The feeling might just be mutual, but how can you know if you dont tell him

Cheers,

She is down to earth, she loved me to a faultin many regards she is every man's idea wife material and we we have been dating for over 3years now.

She may not be the prettiest chick I have been with (My only genuine concern over our future) but she is a wonderful person.\

I have a feeling I may not get a girl as good as the one that just left me, I could get a more prettier one, more sophisticated or maybe someone dat can blow me d way a pro blows a trumpet but I feared her love and genuine care for me will be hard to come by, I maybe wrong though. - (Of course, you are wrong)

WTF! How old are you? And how old is your cousin? And who should know better?. . . . For you to ask this question means that you are pathetically lopsided, pitiably immature and immaculately discombobulated, if at this stage of your life you dont even know the dictionary definition of cousin! Cos, it's quite obvious you are yet to understand that you are related to her by blood! So what answers were you expecting? A pat on the back, and an accompanied "go ahead boy"? Huh? Like you seriously mean to say that if someone on this forum comes up and says you should keep a secret relationship with your cousin, a relationship that could invariably lead to illicit sexual relations with her, that you would wholeheartedly accept the advise as wholesome? Really? When last did you have a brain check my man? It's pretty obvious that you are late for your appointment with your doctor! Arranticus Nonsenticus! undecided

Sorry to troll and I'm not trying to diss you but you should consider upgrading your knowledge because I'm sure you are the only person in the world still using MS Access :d
wrong! I still use Microsoft Access. Yes, and it has proved helpful. In as much as I agree he has to upgrade and learn more sophisticated Database Engines, Microsoft Access is a powerful Database software. It's not every project that requires you to engage SQL Server or ORACLE. Some small databases intended to run on just a few systems can be arranged with Access.

Topea, you can get a free copy of Microsoft Visual Studio. I think Microsoft provides an Express Edition for learners to work with. Let me warn: It consumes a lot of hardware resources e.g RAM, Processor, etc.
