farouqzaib:

@Beaf, I'm offfended. Where will C# go that PHP won't have being there already/ be ready to go also.

lets not start a language flamewar here ,

farouqzaib:

. The only beef I have with microsoft is dt programmers just jump into their tech cos it's kinda easy(did VB before) without learning how to program n hence end up churning bad codes

just learning the syntax of a programming language does not make you a computer programmer

its so sad and unfortunate that the poster & most nairalanders on this thread & uninformed. how does paying tithes correlate with funding of private universities. church owned universities worldwide are built by special funds raised to run such massive projects.

you sound like one of this hungry pastors that only scream pay your tithe and stop robbing GOD
Education / Re: School Fees Of Church-owned Universities In Nigeria by netghost: 7:22pm On Sep 03, 2011

Family / Re: Can You Continue With The Marriage? by netghost: 10:43am On Sep 03, 2011
OPTIONs:
1. kill her and bury her in your backyard,
2. get a divorce lawyer
3. kill the guy and bury him in his own backyard
4. kill yourself, the burial will be the least of your problems
5. kill her, the man, your kids and yourself
5. pray to GOD

personally i will advice you consider options 1-5, but if you must disagree then i will advice you go with 5

@OP
most people will not bother what tool the plumber used in fixing their leaking pipe, they just want the pipe to stop leaking , in other words, regardless of the tools you use, the end result is all that matters, i advice you spend less time debating and start developing the skill you already have cool

I support this move 100%. Why would any intelligent fellow condemn the Kano governor for this?
why  do i have the strange feeling the you might be the spokesman for boko haram

texazzpete:

it is illegal to hold someone in detention without charging them to court.
true talk

texazzpete:

If we forget the law, what makes us better than Boko Haram?
we do not load cars with  explosives and drive it through gates   grin

texazzpete:

As we speak, thousands of innocent Nigerians are languishing in jail, kept in detention for no reason whatsoever.
missing the point of this comparison

see the people talking. LOL

coming from a southerner that blow up atlas co in lagos were the MAJOR NIGERIA OIL INFRASTURTURE is in. is that not hinderance to progress

or all the crime u people have made nigeria to be known worldwide for is progress as well

when have southerners contributed to the economy please answer apart from oil which Allah gave to NIGERIA AS A COUNTRY AND NOT SOUTHERNERS

still seaching for the point you are trying to make ,  its clear that nigerians are not willing to embrace the islamic way of life, why cant we just go our seperate ways so everyone can live the way they want , abi na by force to worship God the way a specific group sees it
,  still cant find the point you made

Ok, would the north be happy to break away and form their own republic? Because people are now calling them a liability and a hinderance to progress

thats exactly what they are , they need to stay on their own cos they are mentally far from civilization

Programming / Re: .net Programmers How About This? by netghost: 10:52pm On Aug 29, 2011
MS Access is a very powerful database application and has significant advantages over a spreadsheet in tracking data,  tongue  grin
the Database (.mdb) file size is limited to abt 2 GB for objects in the database, while the number of objects in a database is limited to abt 32,768

Beaf:

I even see MS phasing it out in the next few years.

Microsoft has the habit of attaching dead apps to there packages ,  i see it still coming with windows 8,9,10,11,12, 100  grin

Fayimora:

Ok seriously this is getting out of hand. Has anyone checked this guy's stuff out? Why you just threatening him. Am sorry am gonna have to delete this thread completely if yall dnt straighten things up in 12hrs! The clock's ticking.

Is this really a common thing in Nigeria? If so then why do people keep saying there ain't no jobs? Let me tell you something, if Leslexx was still in the UK, he would have sued whoever threatens or insults him at no cost and trut me its gonna end badly for the victim irrespective of your location.

Anyways, @Lesslexx am going to leave this thread for just 12 hrs to see if things are straightened up, also would advice you open a better thread with a better title so its obvious its a thread for employment.

deleting this thread will not stop the flamewar from moving to the next one he opens , personally i think the thread should be left to achieve what he wants it to achieve

2: Hate talking about the whiz and bangs of technology unless i designed it myself or plug-in-in into an existing project
3: Will rather talk your ear off with Philosophy and antagonize Religious folks
4: No personal tech projects - Only Commercial ones (only personal project is being an accomplished music producer)
5: If you think Tech as a Service then you don't need to place your beliefs on a few or just one almighty technology

nice, constructive, and the article ain't mine , i just shared it, with the hope that nairaland programmers will have other ideas

got to disagree with your negative indicators.
Many nigerian programers bend towards open source techs eg. Php. Many started in d university, many of your negatives dnt apply to nigerian programers
yep, like to see a list of your negative indicators
