even if he has no programming skills i heard there's a plugin for joomla that hides that, don't know how true that is , i do not use joomla and i dont think i ever will

bigtt76: C.R.A.P ....I'm sure it was designed by one of them 1st Class Computer Science Graduate they're always looking for NONSENSE! After dem go begin de cry say omo boys don hack den site. How can you use Joomla ...OpenSource design corporate website and leave behind the default Administrator link intact? Any good Joomla user will jst 'smell' its presence and get down to work.

The painful part of it all is how the banks' Information Security Audit and Control departments are always fussy about any third party platform for payment collection as if the whole world would come down yet ordinary website ....ordinary website ooooooooooooooooooo <holding hands akimbo) GTBank never fit design shoooooo!

Abeg first OP ....hope no bi der u de work sha.....kindly convey our 'good' thoughts yaaa!

You lack proper I.T reasoning , i still do not understand why some myopic reasoning programmers tend to believe that opensource is just another way of saying a tool is unstable, regardless of the technology you apply when developing an application, open or close , the security or stability of the app or website is only as good as the programmers knowledge...

Education / Photo: Demonic Looking Beast Killed In Madonna University by netghost: 12:38pm On Sep 27, 2012
I got a call from a friend currently studying Electrical Electronics with the above named university ”Madonna Unversity”, Elele Campus to be precise in what i expected to be the regular pleasantries we share with each other followed by a lot of jokes.

I was shocked when he told me that two demonic looking beast were killed within the campus, i could not help laughing you cant blame me, a lot of people seem too desperate to know what goes on beyond the earth.

First it was a fallen angel in Ajah , which JustNaija proved to be compleltely false then a woman gave birth to a horse .. child with a Koran and another with a Rosary.

So you cant blame me for not being quick to believe…. While i laughed and mocked him he told me to check my bbm message, my jaws dropped it was far from anything i have seen Photoshop do and i actually recorgnized the buildings (O_o).

He had this story and i quote :

“On wednesday two demonic looking creatures were killed by security operatives within Madonna University Elele campus, a smaller one was first spotted close to a uncompleted building, security operative attacked and killed it , hours later a bigger more fierce looking beast was also spotted … Most people said it came for revenge , i personally cannot say what it came for but it was also killed.”

there is no leisure in programming... You think frustration is fun?

programming is not my hustle , i do it for fun....Personally i think you wont go far in programming if you go into it expecting to get you daily bread from it, it should be a thing done out of free will, gradually you find it paying the bills, your comment is still the basic reason the open source community is lacking Nigeria

I still cant stop laughing every time i come across a post relating to how useless GEJ is , it only shows the level of reasoning within the country, if by now you still cant see that GEJ is the messiah of this country then you are part of the low thinking majority within this country.

i'm not saying he is the best man for the country, but he is definitely better than the others...Plus he's God sent smiley

you are completely clueless .... Mention one of the past presidents that attempted to do what GEJ is doing right now... even if your goat goes missing you will still blame GEJ like he is responsible for the stupidity of those that fail to carry out their assigned duty.

henrychubayo:
Do you know the meaning of email? Electronic mail. Have you used a post office to post an emergency mail to police? No. You use mail to report cases of gross misconduct by police or report areas or needed attention. The same is applicable here as This can only be used for large reports and not emergency. Have you forgotten that police have contact phone numbers even visibly writing on the vehicles according to the locality the patrol? In every country, the police have emails to report cases and issues of concerns and why would nigeria police own be a strange one. Guys plz do understand

Attending to the bolded first .. NO i dont , though i write software
To the rest of your stated claims, i guess you belong to the class of Nigerians that still believe this country is one, oh well.. Talking about emergency numbers, u better get on your knees and pray you never need to call it.. if fuel is not available its no driver..

The scam in this country is beyond obvious and if you cant see it then you are obviously blind .

Addressing the second bolded ... because we have more important issues to tackle, LIKE CORRUPTION WITHIN THE POLICE FORCE.

Come to think of it who are we going to send the report to, the same corrupt police officers that extort innocent Nigerians far away from the police station they are assigned to so you cant trace them, or Armed robbers that dont hide their faces due to confidence and believe that the Nigeria Police cant and wont come around till the whole robbery is over.

Telling me the Nigeria police now have an email for reporting crimes is a bigger joke than the Night of a thousand laughs

Kaarrrramba! whats that?

btw, i just finished a simple form API, that is very easy to use - supports nice and smooth frontend and backend validation.
Can be used by people with average knowlege of php/mysql.

And it can be plugged into existing cms / framework. I borrowed some techniques from smarty engine and drupal forms api.

Am plugging it into this framework to complete a particular job am working on, mehn, i need to sleep small o.

u need a team smiley

VICTIM: "Help armed robbers are banging on my door, should i open or wait for a patrol van"..

with networks like MTN ... "Email sending failed"

ARMED ROBBERS: "we know you are trying to send an email, mumu Phcn just took the light at the police station plus mtn is on strike.. u better open this door"

Urine: This is the first time am posting in this section, but I have learnt a lot especially from the programming section. Straight to the point,I have a school project that am working on,its a system that allows people to view items in a database, select any three items they want, and the system randomly chooses one for them, there will also be an admin that has "Super Powers" of updating the database via a User interface. I can do this with Java by connecting to Mysgl through the jconnector and simply calling the methods and designing a frame but want to act of the box by using a web application approach HTML,CSS,Javascript, where i need help is on the server side with Python, please share ideas on how i can go about this. Got interested in Python through the arguments in this section.I have already started reading beginning python by Peter and Norton. So please python gurus, help a brother out.

start by changing your username

now to more pressing issues

@netghost: Can you please state the date and time you tried chatting with WhoGoHost? This would assist us in investigating why you did not get a response.
Thanks
That wont be necessary, as earlier stated i have already purchased a hosting account with whogohost.com, you will be hearing from me if the need arises.

@netghost Nice to see that you've put a leash on your mouth. Good Boi! Anger issues?? if I had any believe me I won’t be where I am today.

Funny...This thread seems to be going no where... honestly can’t remember the last time I actively posted on NL...I am interested in using the best host even if the servers are hosted in hellfire, Mochahost.com, Syskay.com, godaddy and all its resellers are currently the most useless hosting companies in the world.. I don’t care what any other person has to say...when I am done with my assessment of whogohost... I will drop my review. With regards to the anger issue am glad u don’t have one but u seem to lack thought control, u just post whatever comes to your mind regardless of who it affects... Everyone is entitled to an opinion that does not make all opinions worthy of sharing....most of the time it’s not what is said but how it’s said.

doncigalo:
@databoy247 Less I forget, It’s actually a shame that you consider dafthtml to be a programmer (don’t deceive yourself he is not), heres a role model that you should try to emulate: omo_to_dun, search him out on this forum. His code is like poetry!! He is the ONLY programmer on this forum, take it from me. The remaining are just hacks.

since when did active coding on NL become a criteria for choosing programmers...Omotodun is good, but telling me DHTML is a hack...I might actually doubt your coding abilities...I don’t understand the personal beef between you and him but that should not cloud the judgment of anyone
