JECBOSS: In as much as I understand what the Lagos state govt. is trying to convey, I think Nairaland should replicate this. I'm of the opinion that poor command of English language as usually observed on Nairaland is symptomatic of our falling standards in education.Does speaking correct English tells how educated you are? I doubt that. I speak Spanish, French, Portuguese and English. I know my English may not be as sound as yours but then, it still doesn't make you better than me in any way. So please stop talking trash. |
Please what does excess intake of indomie cause to the body system? |
Adrenaline123: .Another funny being. Wetin dat dot come mean nah? |
I love Nairaland for the wonderful and very funny great members. This shows me how nice and fun our beloved Nigerian are. I will be a Nigerian and a Niaralander in the next world. I can't stay a day without visiting Nairaland just to read from my wonderful, funny unknown friends. I will recommend Nairaland to anyone who want to live long. I start my day by visiting Nairaland. Long live Nairaland and the great members, you all make my day and may the almighty God bless you all. Joy and Happiness can not be bought but you all gave me this for free. I might not smile for the whole day but visiting Nairaland makes me laugh out loud each day. Thank you guys for your great humour. Que Dios te bendida Nairaland y todo ustedes |
Dubemkelly: This actually a comic...Princess Dianna' just saying thoDo i look like a joker to you? She is my princess and her name is Diana. So i prefer to call her my Princess Diana. You got problem with that? |
SniperInADiaper: Eh good for you. Congrats on your impending divorceYou no well, must it end in divorce? ![]() |
2s£xy:Man, u are so funny, u crack me up. I don't know if i should say you are right but then, some of our beloved 9ja babes, might attack me. |
kinnad: For the benefit of those of us that dont know the Diana, did u meet her on NL?No dear, I didn't meet Diana in Nairaland, she is from Equatorial Guinea. I have been in love with her but due to my desire to marry a Nigerian and my family pressure from Nigeria to marry a Nigerian, i meet Chinyere and was finding it difficult to choose between my love Diana and Chinyere the 9ja babe who isn't that into me. So i finally went for what my heart want which is my Princess Diana. |
infonubia: While I agree with you on some points, I must say though, the at the rate at which technology is advancing, it's only a matter of time before routine work functions are taken over by machines. My point is, don't get stuck in a rhythmic job function. People are mostly rewarded for their brain power, not the routine jobs that requires almost no critical thinking.I agree with you too, this has been a strong debate on how far computer can go to replace human duties. During my days in school studying Artificial Intelligent, we did a lot of research on this topic. Most people believe because today computers are used in almost every field. Whether we want to book tickets, to maintain accounts or communicate with each other – computers are there to answer our every need. So we see that computers are slowly replacing human beings at work, since they are far more efficient than human hands and save us valuable time. I tell you my friend, since human wants are unlimited and unpredictable, computers will always find it difficult to satisfy the ever wanting human with many and different questions to ask. Computer are not built to be logical. Human have different intellectual capacity, computer will find it difficult to interact with all kinds of people, computers are built to satisfy people and they will fail in most cases if left alone to do the job. Computers do not have emotions, which place an important role in support human want. Therefore, computer can never replace human. |
infonubia: lol...I'll leave that to the programmers to figure it out.In Advance Human-Computer Interaction, science have tried and still trying to improve the communication between machines and human but the interaction is always going to be limited. This is basically because computers can not think for themselves. Therefore, machines can never replace human daily duties when it comes to interaction. Science have really advanced to the extent that when a human and computer are placed in different rooms and are asked to communicate, the human often mistake the computer with human due to the advance voice technology and the programmed memory of the computer. |
Madawaki01: U finally settle 4 dat equitorian girl??Yeah, you are the man, you got it just right. I am getting married to the Equatorial Guinea lady (Diana. She won my heart and i am glad she is the one. |
Monicasque: Congratulations sir to you guys. May your marriage be filled with unending joy and blessingas from aboveOh...That's a nice one, thanks a million. Remain blessed dear. |
Amelian: Congrats, opYeah, do that dear, it is a good thing. |
Skinni10ne: Congrats!!! And remember to kiss every night b4 u go to bed lolNice one dear, I will keep that in mind. |
Sunjos: congratulation man BUT.....why Court weeding alone, if you truly are a Christian and a true one, why not church weeding. Anything done outside of God will surely fail. Jesus said whithout me you can do nothing. Rethink Brother. God bless you.I get you r point man but i strongly disagree with you. Marriage is the formal union of a man and a woman, typically recognized by law, by which they become husband and wife: Not getting married in the church does not mean the marriage is not acknowledged by God almighty. He never said getting married must be in the church. God just want it to be formal and recognized by law and He promised to blessed such union. Thanks for your advise dear but my lady and I have decided to make it just the court wedding for now. Maybe, in the future we might consider any other form of marriage, i am not sure. |
Crystalline: Congrats man. Wishing u and ur wifey-to-be joy in ur union. Many thanks dear. |
Aizebioje: Congratz man. Some pics would be nice sha oThanks man, yeah you are right, i will send the update with some pics. I just proposed to her and will be going for the introduction with my family first week of next month. I am sorry, i didn't do the usual surprise proposing thing, we have been talking about it and she knew i want to marry her. I just asked her to marry me and she said yes!!! I guess that's enough for us, the ring will be placed during the court wedding. Simplicity most times is the ultimate sophistication. |
My dear and beloved Nairalanders, my joy won’t be complete if I don’t break the good news to you all. Finally, I proposed to Diana and she said YES!!! to me. I am very happy and we are getting married by the end of the year. It’s going to be court wedding, that’s the way we both want it. Believe me single men, it is a good feeling to find that special person you are willing to spend the rest of your life with. I feel complete and can see the direction of my life, God help us both. Will keep you guys posted. |
Very funny you made my day. I love 9ja, the funniest nation in the world. |
"Rich man go mess, Poor man go carry the news up and down". Its funny how some poor youths come here to talk rubbish. Why fighting over topics or issues that won't fetch u a penny? Let, Fashola or Uzo do what ever they like to the Ibos and Yorubas, I really don't care. People should stop crying over spilled milks. Lagos belongs to us, Owerri is my town, Abuja is my city and so what. Does that change the price of garri? You guys should start thinking how to make 9geria a better place for us all and stop fighting over useless things, while the rich gets richer. |
My car Tyre is now the right target for them to urinate every morning, i dislike this really. |
Why is he always opening his mouth so wide? |
Who are those stupid law-makers? Do they have kids? I would like to marry their 12 yrs old daughters. I wonder how Nigeria will ever progress or develop if we keep stupid leaders or so called law makers. |
Mynd_44: It is true naYeah! that's true, you can't have them all. Only if you are king Swati of Swaziland. |
Ab025: The way I see it, u like chinyere becos she "looks" like the perfect "housewife"....but for diana, she has always been ur sweet and faithful lover but u doubt if she can be that perfect housewife in terms of cooking, keeping the home always clean and peforming her duties as a mother 2moro, etc......hmmmYou got me laughing man. Like you are reading my mind. Yeah, you are so right, all what you mentioned could be the case. Thanks anyways. |
drnoel: I don't know why men would always have a canary with them and still go looking for a vulture they know would destroy them in the Forest. Tell me, is it the thrill of the chase or the euphoria of the unknown.I get your point my friend, maybe i listen a lot to people. You know how it is, some people will keep telling you to go and marry from your home town and even quote a portion of the bible in the old testament where such is advice. Some would say, you should think of the old age time that most foreign women won't stay with you till the old age. Just so many words and sometimes, it makes a man who have grown to love a foreigner goes back to his country to marry a wife. I now realize choosing a wife is one of the difficult things to do in life. |
Mynd_44: Either way, Some girl is about to get dumpedHahahaha u funny man. |
k2039: Don’t go for looks as it can deceive. I'm sure you want a wife who is proactive and very decisive. Though you insisted she is not too intelligent, which shows that she is slightly intelligent but up not to the level you desire. Thanks Man, that was a nice one, I will take your advice. |
Yield: It's unfair to compare her intelligence with Diana's. People are smart in different ways. If Diana has been exposed to more opportunities, it makes sense that she would have knowledge of things Diana does not (i.e knowing languages such as Chinese and Russian). Chinyere herself might be talented and skilled in ways Diana is not. If you're going to judge people, judge them according to their situations and don't compare them with others. You are right my friend but i am actually not judging anyone here. I am just trying to explain the difference between them. Beside, its not about the exposure. Some people are just talented and intellectual guess Diana is one of them, that's what i mean. Of-course Chinyere have those great qualities a true African would love, which is kinda lacking from Diana. I am not being judgmental, i am only explaining to the readers. |

....exactly my ideal marriage plan too....
