flokii: The clause stated clearly that Chinese can take possession of any asset (e.g. airports, seaports, LNG etc.) other than diplomatic and military assets. It didn't state that they will only go after what they built.
Please stop being clever by half.. we're literates and we are not fools. They can take over anything to use to recoup what they're owed. It's called collateral. Banks do that all the time. A collateral is not usually what a loan was used to acquire. Have you really ever taken a bank loan? They know that most of the things loans are used for don't generate money. They're not dumb. Unlike banks, they are not taking permanent possession of such assets. They take over the management of such assets, and the money generated from the assets are used for debt repayment. You can easily verify that from other African nations that have defaulted |

Amaech or anyone has no right to sign off Nigeria's sovereignty (in whatsoever context) to chinko slave traders. If not that Amaechi is an imbec.ile, how will any right thinking person see nothing wrong in non-Nigerians taking over assets in Nigeria (what sort of useless people do we have as leaders sef).
Is it until they take over the useless railways that will be outdated and obsolete in no distant future, take over all our airports, seaports, Customs etc. and even natural resources like gold (which they have been stealing secretly), oil and gas resources and the numerous others we are blessed with that our eyes will clear?
What stops Nigeria from generating her own financial capacity and needs from food and natural resources processing rather than selling ourselves off for useless modernized locomotives.
We know their plans, take loans, share it amongst themselves (unrepentant looters) abandon the projects and let China come in and enslave our coming generations. BASTARDS!
With all the money stolen under GEJ, Diezani and Patience Jonathan's loots, returned Abacha loot, NNPC missing billions and NEDC, NDDC billions that can't be accounted for would have transformed this country into the envy of the whole world. Very useless set of people
A country that has Oil and is one of the richest in the world with abundant mineral and natural resources suddenly turned beggar, taking loans and ceding sovereignty. It's a form of collateral security. Banks do this too. Money lending is not charity work. Haven't you heard of seized property before? I mean the ones seized by AMCON? For every loan, there must be a plan B on the part of the lender. |

"He is also described on the Assembly's website as graduating from the Nigerian Law School in 2007, a year after he obtained a Bachelor of Law degree from the Lagos State University".
If on a C.V. u put d year of graduation from an institution, what is ur intent? If u didn't graduate from an institution, what is d essence of putting it on ur C.V.? Are u familiar with how C.V.s are written? Pls what is d whole idea behind d article? Do u no d essence of d article? The author said that. You even quoted where said it. The website didn't say so. Whatever an article said that doesn't correlate with what's on the referenced website is just the author spewing BS. You can't say a website said what it clearly didn't say and still claim to referencing the website. If a reference is false, the falsehood becomes the opinion of that person who made the reference. Pls take note of d words used by d author of d article. Did d author of d article say that obasa graduated from law school or it used d assembly's website as it's reference? So who come fail exam now? The author was wrong. The website didn't say he graduated from law school in 2007. It says he left law school in 2007. That is, the last year he spent in law school was 2007. There are many ways to leave a school. Graduating is just one of them. The author said that he graduated. The website didn't say that. Let me make it easier. In your CV, you put UNIBEN (2004 - 2008). 2004 - 2008 simply means you were a UNIBEN student in the following years: 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. There's nothing that says you graduated in 2008 in the above. You could have been rusticated in 2008. You could have withdrawn. Lots of "coulds". If you don't ask, they won't tell you. The years he spent in law school: 2007. Did he graduate?: Nothing said. This is how people fail exam. Whenever you see any year attached to a education history, never assume it means graduation year because it doesn't. Someone could have been rusticated in his final year. That doesn't change the fact that he spent, at least, four years in that school. He should put that in his CV. It's up to you to ask specific questions. |

Oghene1st: There is no loopholes Oga. Stop confusing people. When you say you attended a school, it mean you graduated from that school and the year next to it means that is the year you graduated and not the year you attended the school.
Don't support rubbish. The only thing that saved him is he didn't include Bachelor of Law (BL) before the Nigerian Law School (NLS). In conclusion, he never got BL from Nigerian Law School if I'm to interpret it as a lawyer.
However, he was just trying to be smart by not disclosing that he never graduated and the intent is simply fraudulent. Attendance doesn't mean graduation. There's no but. There's no implications. It's simple logic. Take it to any court, it'll stand. |

Please note, I don't believe any news from Sahara reporters except same is reported in a reputable medium. Sahara reporters is known for spreading falsehood for popularity.
But I was attracted to learn something from your 'quote'. Yes, you can. That's why they ask the year you graduated. You can say you didn't graduate, if they ask. Attendance is not graduation. People need to be more specific when asking questions to avoid loopholes like this. "He's slept with a married woman". The woman in question could be his wife tho. Or is she not a married woman? |

NOC1: Are they talking about being a lawyer or a barrister?
People mistake this two things, however I read where they said he went to law school, he might have, but didn’t pass, so you can’t see his name on register but that doesn’t stop him from answering a law graduate.
On his biography as pasted here, he never claimed to have graduated from Law School, he ended it at his University degree. If that’s what he has been using to work he has no problem.
Is just like an Engineering graduate who is not registered with COREN you have Engineering degree but you are not a registered Engineer but not human can stop you from saying you graduated as an Engineer from university.
I know same is applicable to pharmacy and Accountancy I love logical people. I wish more Nigerian would embrace logic |
