Nairaland is a great place to really know the content of people's heart. Many yorubas like myself were neutral prior to the election. I use to hear about the tribalism from some quarter from both end of the Yoruba's side and the Igbo's side. But, I realised that, the Yoruba's are more open to engagement than the Igbo's. I noticed, when you have upper superior augment than theirs, they switch to insult and blackmail with your religion and culture.

This election was not suppose to go this way, but Obi took it to the next level by saying taking back Nigeria to the Christian community. That alone created what we now have as regards to tribalism.

I have been on this forum for several years, but I learnt more about the Afonja word here, because it was used most time. I believed, GRV learnt it here also. Yoruba's never took it as offense, they only use superior augment to buttress their lines of augment.

Exactly my question, what are dey doing at the polling units if when people get attacked at the polling units, they(Police) become spectators and do nothing to protect people at the pollings .

On Friday last week, I went to the market and I needed cash, the pos agent I meant gave me for 150/1000, I made a withdrawal 7k. After buying some item, I needed more to get some other things... Only for me to go back to the pos agent and unfortunately she was out of cash.

She directed me another shop and the second woman was charging 250/1k I was so pissed cos I just collected for 150 for 1k, I told her that her neighbor was se at 150/1000 .You needed to see the way she was fuming at the first pos agent for selling to people at 150.

I am from delta state and live in Lagos, I personally know many yorubas who voted for LP top to bottom joyfully. Apart from the touts on the streets many yorubas educated and are detribalized.
