By willfully holding on to the lender's money you're denying it revenue that would otherwise be earned when the money is advanced to other people.

If a borrower has a genuine reason for not paying back it's understandable but not when he/she set out ab initio to defraud a loan provider.

Be careful the comments you make online, it could come back to haunt you later!

A certain Nairalander applied for a loan sometime ago but when we reviewed his previous comments on the thread below we reaslised he is one of those who encourage borrowers not to repay loan.

We turned down his request straightaway but we did not tell him the reason why his request for a loan was not approved.

Most times when you give a loan to people outside your area they divert the funds to other uses. Monitoring such loans is always a big issue and therefore very risky because it is not secured.

Remedy: - There must be a collateral which must also be physically present in Lagos

Our loans are given under the "Willing buyer, willing seller principle" principle therefore those who take out the loans do so without ant compulsion.

Having said that, the market is still very large therefore you are free to start you own company where you can give out loans at 0.5% interest rate!

Sokoloan should be avoided by all means! They have stupid and idiot sales agents who are low in morals and respect. CBN should ban this app because it's a trap. Let's all rise up against this evil app that let play store ban it.

It is because of dishonest people like you that Sokoloan and other finetechs adopt crude means to recover their loans.

You have no moral standing to criticise them because you are a very dishonest person and completely lacking in integrity!
