hi guys, phewww... My tracker shows that all parameters are completed since 9th June but no PPR yet. Does it usually take a while to receive PPR after the stages are completed? VO is RROC |
Dear all, I am currently in Nigeria with the kids while my spouse is in the UK for masters. when we receive PPR, can we submit the passports separately? This implies that I submit at Abuja VAC where Biometric is planned and my spouse submits at the London VAC where his biometric is planned. is this even possible/allowed? What other options are available please? |
Hello All, I received this ADR on my application (see screenshot please). Please I need a few clarity: 1. Is the schedule A just for my spouse since only his name and UCI number were shown? 2. On my application profile, the placeholder for document upload is under my own section and not his own. does this mean anything? 3. should I also fill schedule A for myself and attach to his?

ooh.. Thank you for letting me know. this gives some form of assurance then. Prettiepearlz: |
Same with me. Been in the pool with score of 488. I am yet to get any ITA. Do you know anyone who has got ITA after the surprise draw? Lorde2000000: |
It will be visible on your express entry profile. Please go through page 1 and digest it very well. Most questions have been meticulously answered there Acheamah223: |
errmm... even IRCC may not have answers to this question. We can only wait and see how things turn out. fingers crossed. however, I believe 480s is attainable this year if they remain consistent but then we can't predict IRCC again. Them sabi shock person ![]() Jacknn: |
Thrombos:Experiencing same with FUTO which was first sent on the 14th of April and another one sent on the 10th of May. I have been advised by the school to request for hardcopy verification from WES. This means that WES will send the hardcopy request via an expedited courier service and you pay the delivery fees. I'm considering that option now while still following up with the school on the soft copy requests earlier sent. It's really strange. Please if you finally get a headway, kindly share. |
Tonyamori:I agree with you. I have someone in the school helping me work this through. He claims that he has checked the official mail severally and no mail from WES asking for verification for my husband. The weird part is that the school has received some emails from Wes for some other applicants but my husband’s own wasn’t there. |
Good day all, My husband had his bachelors in FUTO via direct entry. He was expected to send both his FUTO and diploma transcripts to WES for evaluation. We sent his transcripts (for both schools) to WES and WES requested for verification on the 16th of April. The polytechnic he had his diploma confirmed receipt of this request and responded to WES (this has been accepted on his profile). However, FUTO claims they never got any verification request from WES. I reached out to WES and they sent another verification request to FUTO on the 10th of May. Till date, FUTO claims they haven't received any verification request. Meanwhile WES claims they have sent it twice! This is becoming frustrating and I don't know what else to do. What could be the issue with FUTO receiving this request? Any advise will be much appreciated. thank you guys. |
Good day all, Please I need some clarity. I hope someone will be kind enough to answer these questions: 1. For someone whose step-sibling is a permanent resident in Canada, what documents will be required to prove the relationship? 2. If accepted to come to Canada, must the immigrant stay in same province as the step-sibling? 3. Are there other obligations expected of this step-sibling towards the immigrant both now and in the future? |
Hi ma’am. I’m also looking into getting an accommodation in Atlanta between February and May. Incase you finally find one and want to share, I’m in. Thanks. Bcpump: |
Thanks for this but for clarity, if you read my interview post well, the question was if I intended to give birth in Maryland... and the answer is No and will remain No cos I don’t intend having my baby in Maryland.. if the question was do I plan to birth in US in the future, then that’s a different ball game. But you are right, it will be suspicious to come back few months later now applying for a medical visa. Like you said, the worst that can happen is another rejection so I will definitely have an open mind and hope for a positive outcome. Hmm. Please any link to a detailed process of applying for a medical visa? Will appreciate that. Thanks TWoods: |
Lol... you are absolutely right man. I still need a way forward sir. TWoods: |
I believe he doubted my response. But what could I have possibly answered. Frankly speaking... before the visa interview, I had no intentions of giving birth in US in the future sef. I have never been a fan of giving birth abroad. I’m not even pregnant now. Somehow the rejection made me to rethink the kind of future I want for my kids. I so much believe that this country will be great it’s only a matter of time and we will get there. How ever till we get there, I can’t imagine my kids having to come for interview every now and then to get a visa plus the heartbreak associated with the rejection. So I and hubby made this decision to have our next baby in US. This decision was made after the interview (believe it or not, I can’t change what happened). So I want to know my chances. If my chances are slim, I will rather remove that plan from my table and think of other things to use money and do Nersh: |
My interview last month went thus: Location: Abuja Me: Good morning VO: Good morning. Passport please Me: hands over our passport (was with my 18months old baby) VO: Are you traveling to Maryland alone? Me: I’m traveling with my husband and baby for a family vacation VO: where is your husband’s visa Me: Hands over my husband’s passport(he had recently renewed his visa via Dropbox) VO: where is your husband at the moment? Me: At work VO: How long do you intend to stay Me: 2weeks VO: (smiles) I grew up in Maryland... I love Maryland. Aside ... and ..., there is nothing else to do there. So why are you traveling to Maryland Me: For a short family vacation. I have a friend in Maryland who promised to make our stay fun. VO: oooh... now I get! VO: Have you traveled outside Nigeria before? Me: yes... Netherlands and Spain all in 2018 VO: why were you in Netherlands and Spain Me: On business trips VO: (he calls the company I work for) sent you on a business trip? Me: yes VO: how long were you on this trip Me: 8weeks VO: How long have you worked for xx Me: 1yr + VO: and within a year, xx sent you on a trip? Me: Yes. VO: I want to ask you a direct question now? Me: Go ahead VO: are you going to give birth in Maryland Me: No. just going for a family vacation VO: Your husband traveled to the US in xx Me: yes VO: why Me: told him Vo: so after your vacation, what next Me: I will come back to Nigeria. I have a job her VO: looks at his screen and after a while, say I regret to.... hands me the pink letters which states no strong ties back home. We wanted to travel in July for the summer break. But that won’t be happening again. We intend having our next baby in US. and from what I can see now... interview date is from October. I’m not pregnant yet but should be before October based on agreement between stakeholders. Is it too early to reapply and book the October date for appointment? Cos I want to apply for a medical visa this time as the intention will be to give birth.. please. Any good thoughts on how to go about this will be appreciated, thanks guys |
