Former BBNaija housemate, Victoria Adeyele, better known as Vee, has secured the arrest of a plumber she accused of charging her N150,000 for a job of N20,000.

She gave the update in a tweet on Thursday.

Sharing a photo of the plumber in handcuffs, the reality star tweeted, “PLAY STUPID GAMES, WIN STUPID PRIZES. And for all of you that were making excuses for this plumber, THIS is your future.”

Vee first brought attention to the matter in a tweet on Wednesday.

Vee said, “My plumber scammed me and collected 150k for a 20k job and one idiot is telling me it’s because ‘everyone is hungry.’

“He will eat in jail.”

The reality star said the plumber has been exploiting her because she “grew up in a completely different environment, so I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. So I never suspected anything.”

A 71-year-old grandmother has described President Muhammadu Buhari as “heartless” over the lingering naira scarcity crisis.

The staunch Buhari supporter said she regrets backing his administration for the last seven years.

She said that life has been difficult for her since the implementation of the naira redesign policy of the Buhari administration began as she found it difficult to get cash for her daily needs despite having money in the bank.

The grandmother said that while she did not support former President Goodluck Jonathan, the ex-leader was not as heartless as President Buhari.

The septuagenarian’s son-in-law, one Femi Benson, brought the matter to the public domain.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) declared that the old N200, N500 and N1,000 notes ceased to be legal tender on February 10, 2023.

However, the old N200 was allowed to remain in circulation until April 10.

On Wednesday, the Supreme Court ruled that the old N200, N500 and N1,000 should remain legal tender until December 2023.

Despite the apex court’s order, NewsTip can report that many Nigerians have refused to accept the old notes without a directive from the president or the CBN.

An American lady, Nicole Kierulff Sayers, says she is suicidal and facing bankruptcy after being swindled of her $200,000 savings by a Nigerian fraudster, Chidozie Kingsley Nwachi aka Dozie.

Sayers said this in a statement released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday, February 15.

The EFCC said that its operatives arrested Nwachi on Wednesday for allegedly marrying the American lady falsely and defrauding her $200,000 in the process.

According to an EFCC statement, Nwachi was arrested in Abuja based on the claims of Sayers, alleging that the suspect lured her into a false marriage and defrauded her of her savings.

“I was accustomed to transferring money to him and further felt I had no choice, since I had just married him, even though I did not feel confident in my choice to have married him,” Sayers said.

The EFCC said that Nwachi’s ploy of defrauding his “wife” was the offer of a phony contract by the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, Abuja.

He allegedly made Sayers finance the execution of the contract until the petitioner contacted the ministry with the contract papers and discovered that they were fake.

Realising that Nwachi had sold her a dummy, Sayers lamented that: “I have been suicidal on and off, when I realised he was a fraud, as I was drowning financially and facing bankruptcy”.

The EFCC said that items recovered from the suspect include two cars: Toyota Venza and Lexus ES300, expensive wrist watches, two Apple iPhone, two Apple laptops, an international passport and multiple Automated Teller Machine (ATM) cards.

The commission further said that a sum of $2,204 was also recovered from him.

“He will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded,” the EFCC said.

A Twitter influencer, Daniel Regha says Yahoo boys are godforsaken criminals contributing to increment in rent and food prices in many parts of Nigeria.

Regha said this in a tweet on Friday.

He said the nefarious activities of Yahoo boys have made it difficult for Nigerians to obtain visas and job opportunities abroad.

According to Daniel Regha, Yahoo boys are a nuisance to society who should be in prison.

“Yahoo boys are the reason why rents plus foodstuffs are expensive in many places in Nig; They’re also the main reason why Africans can hardly get VISAs & jobs abroad, especially Nigerians. These g¤dforsaken criminals are nothing but a nuisance to society. Help send ’em to prison,” Regha said.

However, his tweet, which has got more than 7,000 likes, has been generating loads of comments, many of which are critical.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned a former General Manager and Head of Legal Services of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), Sir Adebayo Adebowale Aderibigbe and one Ogundele Mura Yisa-Yemi, Principal Partners at M.Y. Ogundele & Co Legal Practitioners, before Justice O.A Musa of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, High Court, Jabi, Abuja.

The EFCC said in a Wednesday statement that Aderibigbe and Yisa-Yemi were arraigned on three-count charges bordering on conspiracy and obtaining the sum N60.4 million by false pretence.

The statement said, “Yisa-Yemi, between 2014 and 2016 did corruptly gave the aggregate sum of N60,400,000 (Sixty Million, Four Hundred Thousand Naira) to one Sir Adebayo Adebowale Aderibigbe on account of a contract awarded to him as consultant for processing and regularizing of Title Deeds and Survey Plans for the property of the fund at Era Village Oto-Awori Ijanikin, Badagry Expressway, Lagos.

“On the other hand, Sir Aderibigbe, whilst being a public officer as GM/Head Legal Services of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund, between 2014 and 2016 did corruptly received the aggregate sum of N60,400,000 (Sixty Million, Four Hundred Thousand Naira only) from Yisa-Yemi, in relation to a contract awarded to him as consultant for processing and regularizing of the Deeds and Survey Plans for the property of the fund at Era Village, Oto-Awori, Ijanikin, Badagry Expressway, Lagos.”

The Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, has said that only his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) prevented him from personally leading the presidential campaign of Labour Party (LP) candidate, Peter Obi, across the nation.

Ortom said this while commending former President Olusegun Obasanjo for endorsing Obi for the 2023 presidency.

Recall that Obasanjo endorsed Obi in a New Year letter to Nigerians on Sunday, January 1.

The presidential campaigns of the All Progressivessives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rejected the endorsement, with the APC describing it as “worthless”.

However, the Benue governor said Obasanjo endorsed Obi as the right candidate to win this year’s presidential election and provide the leadership that Nigerians desire.

Ortom, in a Tuesday statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Terver Akase, said if he were not a member of the PDP, he would have personally led Obi’s campaign across the country.

“Governor Ortom strongly recommends Peter Obi to Nigerians as the man who has the capacity to effectively tackle the economic, security and other challenges facing the country.

“He is convinced that Obi possesses the qualities of a leader who will be a true President of this country by guaranteeing justice, equity and fairness for all Nigerians.

“The Governor stresses that for some years, the country has been tottering on the verge of collapse, owing to leadership failure and its attendant consequences of poverty, heightened insecurity with banditry, kidnappings and other acts of terrorism threatening the very foundations of the nation.

Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Buhari, has narrated a story of how former President Olusegun Obasanjo cleverly avoided greeting an “unrepentant critic”.

He said that the incident occurred during a breakfast meeting at the Aso Rock Villa, the nation’s seat of power.

Adesina, who did not name Obasanjo, said that “former President is a rather forceful personality, and loves to have his way. It’s either his way, or no way”.

Obasanjo is known to be one of Nigeria’s most obstinate president’s ever.

Nigerian journalist, Rufai Oseni has been praised by some Twitter users for his work on Arise Television’s political programmes.

Oseni’s praises got sung on the social media platform after the THISDAY/ARISE News Boards of Editors stated in a joint statement titled: “Tinubu and THISDAY/ARISE Media Group and the Attack on Free Speech” that the APC Presidential Campaign Council wanted him removed from his current position for alleged bias against their candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Supporters of APC and Tinubu frequently accuse the journalist of supporting the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

“We also note that two senior APC campaign officials had separately requested that we move THISDAY Editor and columnist, Shaka Momodu, and The Morning Show co-host on ARISE News, Rufai Oseni, from their current positions to stop the attacks or get reprieve from a future Tinubu presidency.

Many Nigerian football lovers are not cool with President Muhammadu Buhari’s decision to congratulate Morocco for being the first African nation to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup.

Recall that Morocco finished top of a group that included Belgium and Croatia and beat Spain and Portugal in the knockout stages to achieve the feat.

The Atlas Lions thus set up a semi final meeting with current champions, France on Wednesday in a bid to reach the final of the Mundial at Qatar 2022.

In a statement, President Buhari congratulated Morocco for making Africa proud.

In the statement signed by his media aide, Garba Shehu, the Nigerian president hailed the team and the ruler of the country, King Mohammed the VI on “making history by becoming the fourth team from an African country to ever qualify for the World Cup quarterfinals, and the first to win a place in a semi-final at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022”.

The Nigerian president added that Morocco has made the “entire continent proud with their grit and dexterity, giving hope that an African team can indeed win, and should win the ongoing global championship in Qatar”.

He commended the team for their skill and teamwork, noting at the same time that this could not have been achieved without the exemplary role of the Moroccan authorities in putting together a formidable team.

But taking to Facebook, many Nigerians said that President Buhari’s congratulatory message was too hasty.

A self-confessed transgender, Oblete Sunday Nazarethe, has been sentenced to two years in prison for internet fraud in Lafia, Nasarawa State.

Justice N.I. Afolabi of the Federal High Court sentenced the convict on Thursday, December 8.

The Makurdi Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had arraigned Nazarethe on a one-count charge bordering on internet fraud.

The charge reads: “That you, Oblete Sunday Nazarethe sometime in May, 2021 in Makurdi, within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court fraudulently impersonated one Christopher Conway through his Instagram username with screenshot No-20210519024301.png claiming to be a transgender with intent to gain advantage for yourself and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 22 (2)(b)(i) and punishable under Section 22 (2)(b)(iv) of the Cybercrime (Prohibition Prevention etc) Act, 2015″.

The defendant pleaded “guilty” to the charge.

Upon his plea, the prosecution counsel, M. Yusuf prayed the Court to convict and sentence him as charged.

Justice Afolabi convicted and sentenced Nazarethe to two years imprisonment with an option of fine of N100, 000.00.

A troll has got a massive clap back from popular comedy skit maker, Debo Adedayo aka Mr Macaroni over a controversial comment on Twitter.

The comment was made in the wake of the arrest and detention of music star, D’banj by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) over a fraud allegation on Wednesday.

The troll tweeting from @ennyola0015, had asked people to imagine what the response would be if Mr Macaroni, who is a known critic of government, was the one arrested.

“Imagine it was @mrmacaronii that was arrested for alleged N-Power fraud not D’banj.

“People could have said the government are after the opposing voices,” @ennyola0015 tweeted.

However, Mr Macaroni did not find the comment funny and chided the tweep heavily.

The Lagos State Police Command says it has arrested a police inspector responsible for the shooting to death of a young man, Gafaru Buraimoh in Ajah area of Lagos on Tuesday.

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, SP Benjamin Hundeyin said this in a statement on Wednesday.

Reports say that Buraimoh, 31, was hit by a stray bullet fired by the trigger-happy policeman late Tuesday.

The victim was said to be coming out of the popular Skymall when the incident occurred.

It was learnt that the policeman was a member of a police team from the Ajah Police Division raiding people selling black market fuel at the Ajiwe filling station.

Hundeyin said, “At About 2330hrs of Tuesday, December 06 2022, a shooting incident involving men of Ajah Division, resulted in the unfortunate death of Gafaru Buraimoh of Happy Land Estate, Ajah.

“The officer behind the shooting, an Inspector of Police, was immediately disarmed and has been detained, as full-scale investigation has commenced.

“The Lagos State Police Command through the Area Commander, Elemoro and Divisional Police Officer, Ajah has since notified and established contact with the family.

“The Command, while commiserating with the family of the deceased over the avoidable and most unfortunate incident, gives assurances that the already commenced investigation into the immediate and remote circumstances leading to the shooting will be brought to a speedy and conclusive end, while equally ensuring that justice is served.”

The Director, New Media, APC Presidential Campaign Council, Chief Femi-Kayode, has said that Senate President Ahmad Lawan never mischaracterised the party’s vice presidential candidate, Senator Kashim Shettima, as its presidential candidate.

Fani-Kayode made the clarification in a tweet on Wednesday.

He said that the alleged mischaracterization was a fabrication by mischief makers.

NewsTip can report that Lawal purportedly made the gaffe in a tweet while sharing photos he took when he hosted stakeholders of the APC in Yobe state.

Sharing a screenshot of the supposed gaffe, Fani-Kayode called it a “fabrication and big lie” that never happened.

A man has found himself in troubled waters after trying to take a rifle from an Israeli soldier.

The young man, believed to be Palestinian, can be seen in a viral video struggling to wrest the gun from the soldier, who holds on tightly.

Amid the struggle, the rifle in contention falls to the ground but what happens next is just bizarre.

As the rifle falls to the ground, the soldier produces a side arm and proceeds to shoot the young man multiple times.

The young man immediately falls to the ground writhing in pain.

It is not immediately clear if the young man survived the incident.

The cause of the struggle could also not be determined from the video but disarming a soldier is a no-go area.

Popular singer, Teniola Apata aka Teni says she plans to give out scholarships to poor but bright secondary school leavers.

She said any poor but bright school leaver unable to proceed to the university due to lack of funds can apply for her scholarship.

Teni, who holds the national honour of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON), made this known in a tweet on Friday night.

The singer called on her 1.5 million followers to help her identify such students.

The Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, has dismissed the report making the rounds that the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, was denied a visa to the United States.

An online news medium, Pointblank News quoted an unnamed federal lawmaker as disclosing that Tinubu was denied visa to the US for his planned foreign trip “meant to accommodate a political engagement but more importantly, to seek medical attention without the prying eyes of Nigerians”.

The APC presidential campaign council had said that Tinubu would be out of Nigeria for a one-week foreign trip scheduled to commence on December 4.

During the trip, the council said, the APC flagbearer would speak at Chatham House in the United Kingdom and also visit the United States.

”He (Tinubu) was supposed to visit Baltimore where he would have seen a doctor after the (Chatham House) event if his Visa had been approved. This would give him the needed privacy especially now that people are increasingly worried about his mental and health situation.

“It would have been easy for him to go to France since it has been his destination of choice for medical attention but will be too obvious since he normally goes there for check up hitherto.

“This is the reason why the Chatham House option came in handy since it’s just one day and the rest days can be used for medicals,” the federal lawmaker was quoted to have said.

Reacting to the report of Tinubu’s visa denial, Kalu said, “As the election draws closer, the opposition will spread more fake news against our presidential candidate but we should always ignore and keep our eyes on the ball.

“The news that Tinubu was denied visa to the USA is as fake as other fake news. Tinubu postponed the travel himself and was never denied visa.

“The State Department of the US confirmed to me that Tinubu will be received in the third week of December.

“As the presidential candidate of our party with outstanding personality, he will be warmly welcomed in the United States.”

A Nigerian realtor identified simply as Ayo has disclosed that he caught his wife cheating just four days into their marriage.

He took to social media to make the revelation on Friday.

The Director, Media and Publicity, APC Presidential Campaign Council, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, has accused “rabid followers” of Peter Obi of circulating a photo purportedly showing Asiwaju Bola Tinubu with US President Joe Biden.

Onanuga said this in a Facebook post on Tuesday evening.

“The apparently photo-shopped image surfaced Tuesday night, on the heels of news that Asiwaju will embark on a foreign trip this weekend.

“Although America was listed among his destinations, according to an unofficial report that was widely shared, we can confirm that the APC presidential candidate was in Abuja all through Tuesday. He was in Abuja on Monday as well, and has no need to surreptitiously leave Nigeria, like some candidates do.

“Tinubu will be travelling to Bayelsa for a rally on Thursday, according to the party’s campaign programme.

“He is not scheduled to travel outside the country until the weekend for speaking engagements.

“His first port of call will be Chatham House in London, where he will speak on his Action Plan for Nigeria.”

Nigerian automobile manufacturer, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) has responded to comments by a businessman, Suleiman Lawal, on the durability of its vehicles.

NewsTip earlier reported that Lawal, who is the Managing Director of Smart Links Investment Limited, claimed in a series of tweets that Nigerians still shy away from IVM’s vehicles because they “are shit”.

“Innoson vehicles are shit, i will tell you that for free. The ones i supplied brand new to the Office of the Head of Service & several other ministries didn’t last.

“The ones my father bought for his farm use have all packed up. No be by MADE IN NIGERIA. Is it worth it?” he tweeted on Monday.

Responding, Innoson asked Lawal to supply information on the vehicles supplied to the government parastatals and his father’s farm to ascertain the veracity of his claims.

“Good day @Hyelasakda, Our attention has been drawn to your tweet stating the vehicles you supplied to the Office of the Head of Service & several other ministries didn’t last. The ones my father bought for his farm use have all packed up.

“We have been trying to ascertain the veracity of these claims through our sales office in Abuja and they’re not aware of your claims.

“4. The names of our contact person who have refused to attend to you over the years.

The APC Presidential Campaign Council has debunked rumour that its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, plans to relocate the capital of Nigeria from Abuja to Lagos.

In a Tuesday statement, the council described the rumour as “insidious campaign in some parts of the country” against Tinubu.

It said the rumour was part of a “multi-pronged desperate campaign of falsehoods” by the “opposition PDP and their surrogate Labour Party”.

The council said that the purveyors of the rumour propagated it “after exhausting their arsenal of calumnies and character assassination” the APC flagbearer.

“In one of the falsehoods being circulated, especially in the North west of the country, Tinubu is said to harbour plans to relocate the Federal Capital from Abuja to Lagos on succeeding President Muhammad Buhari next 29 May.

“The misinformation campaign, according to field reports, is being given some traction by some elders on the payroll of the PDP.

“We are shocked that some people could contrive such egregious lie, all in the name of politics, with the intention to confuse our burgeoning support base in that part of the country.

“Let us say with emphasis, that Asiwaju does not contemplate any such plan and will not do anything that is so ultra-unconstitutional.

“The same purveyors of falsehood have also been distorting the commercialization of NNPC by the APC government of President Muhammadu Buhari.

“The truth is that Buhari has not privatised NNPC as planned by the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. Buhari has instead made it a commercial entity, owned by all the tiers of government, in line with the Petroleum Industry Act.

“In due course, the company will be in a position to declare and share dividends to all its owners, the way Aramco of Saudi Arabia and Petrobas of Brazil do.

“As the destined successor of President Buhari, Asiwaju Tinubu will continue the policy of the Buhari administration. Unlike Atiku, Tinubu has no plan to sell NNPC to his friends or cronies,” the statement read.

The Managing Director, Smart Links Investment Limited, Suleiman Lawal, has said that many Nigerians have not embraced Innoson Motors because their vehicles are not durable.

Lawal said this in a series of tweets on Monday.

He said that the government has tried to encourage the use of Innoson Motors vehicles in line with its policy on promoting the consumption of locally-made goods.

Despite this, he said, many Nigerians still shy away from Innoson Motors vehicles because they “are shit”.

Lawal, who is a contractor, said that he had supplied “brand new” Innoson Motors vehicles to “Office of the Head of Service & several other ministries” but the vehicles “didn’t last”.

He added that his father also procured some of the company’s vehicles for use on his farm but they have all “packed up”.

The Director of New Media for APC presidential campaign, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has explained why many Nigerians do not support the presidential ambition of candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Fani-Kayode stated this in a video he shared on Facebook on Sunday.

He said that many Nigerians were against the idea of a Fulani man succeeding another Fulani as Nigeria’s president.

Fani-Kayode said that should Atiku succeed President Muhammadu Buhari, it could mean 16 years of Fulani rule.

“In my view, the most dangerous thing that we can ever present to the people of Nigeria is a situation where a Fulani person succeeds another Fulani person for another eight years.

“That would mean 16 years of Fulani rule.

“And that is one of the reasons, not the only reason, why so many people are not comfortable with an Atiku presidency.

“The idea of power shift is sacrosanct and absolutely fundamental if we want to ensure that our country continues as one.

“Luckily, the voices from the north are the ones voicing this, that is, the Fulanis themselves are voicing this. And that is a good development. That cements out unity and keeps our country going forward as one.

“It’s a promising thing and that is why we are solidly behind Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Fani-Kayode said.

The Nigeria Police Force has declared a 36-year-old man, Anayo Chukwu Nwoke Colin, wanted.

The police declared Anayo wanted for “interim investigation report on a case of conspiracy, illegal dealing in petroleum product and tampering with oil pipeline”.

In a Special Gazette Bulletin shared by the Force Public Relations Officer (FRPO), CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi on Sunday, the suspect’s last known address was given as Rumuekini in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Anayo’s date of birth was given as April 30, 1986.

Former President of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki has said that many Nigerians were resentful of the Muhammadu Buhari administration having endured a master-servant relationship for eight years under it.

Saraki, who is Special Envoy to the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, said this in a Facebook post while giving an account of the PDP candidate’s meeting with the business community in Lagos on Saturday.

He said that Nigeria needed a president that would engage with Nigerians and be open to valid criticism.

According to him, many Nigerians are resentful of the incumbent APC-led government because of its hatred for valid feedback.

“Today, our Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, met with leaders of the business community in Lagos.

“In my remarks, I reiterated the importance of having a President that will engage with Nigerians and be open to valid critiques and criticisms.

“For the past 8 years, Nigerians have endured a master-servant relationship under the APC-led administration which has contributed to the resentment, mistrust and dissatisfaction that many feel towards the current government.

“However, I am optimistic that with Alhaji Atiku Abubakar at the helm of our nation’s affairs, he will galvanize leaders of the private sector into action to fix Nigeria’s economy, create jobs for our people, and reduce inflation,” Saraki wrote.

The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa has concluded plans to roll out programmes aimed at rehabilitating ex-convicts, most of whom are youths that have been convicted for internet fraud-related offences.

A statement by the anti-graft commission said that the EFCC boss gave the hint on Thursday, November 24 during a courtesy visit by officials of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre led by the Director-General, Soji Eniade at the EFCC headquarters, Abuja.

According to Bawa, the desire to partner with the relevant organisations to rehabilitate ex-convicts is to allow them to separate themselves from the psychological and environmental factors that made them commit crime in the first place.

He said, “I am worried, very concerned for the future of the youths of this country. I honestly do not derive joy in the arrest, investigation and prosecution of the thousands of youths who are supposed to be in their productive ages; but the job must be done. We must concertedly cleanse the system of all forms of economic and financial crimes. In doing that, we must also think of how to rehabilitate and bring the ex-convicts back to the society, hence the collaboration”, he said.

The rehabilitation, the EFCC boss said, “Will involve psychological approaches to morality and cognitive sanity as well as general education such as literacy skills and work training. The goal is to re-integrate offenders back into society after serving their time in prison”, he added.

The CLTC Director-General, Eniade, described the objective of the visit as creating a synergy to advance frontiers for the restoration of confidence in national unity and attitudinal change particularly among youths and young officers on the impact of individual actions on nation building and the corporate image of the country.

While describing the importance of the rehabilitation programme as proposed by the EFCC as top-notch, Eniade said it is very important to re-educate and retrain those who commit crime to discourage them from further engaging in the same or in any other crime.

Presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi has said that the party’s campaign rally in Oyo State was a lot bigger than he thought.

The candidate said this in a series of tweets on Thursday evening.

Obi and his running mate, Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed were in Ibadan, Oyo State for the LP presidential campaign in the state.

Thousands of the party’s supporters thronged the campaign.

Leader of Afenifere, Chief Ayo Adebanjo was also at the campaign rally, where he urged Nigerians to shun tribal sentiments when voting in the 2023 general election.
