holafloyd:Good morning holafloyd, please can I share your story on Twitter along with your picture? Do you have a Twitter account? I used to have friends at Laserderm, but it's been a long time I reached out to them. |
I'm very impressed with some of the responses on this thread. Very useful information, and very professional too. I'm also saddened that a few people felt they could bring jokes and insults to someone suffering a medical condition, nd seeking help. This is something we have to change on this Nairaland. I've noticed one major difference between Nairaland and Nigerian Twitter is that as this discussion proceeds, on Nigerian Twitter, a professional dermatologist will eventually step in and invite the patient over to a clinic for free consultation and treatment, and also use the opportunity to show off how competent the clinic is in handling such issues. Why doesn't this happen on Nairaland? We need to look at this, and see how Nairaland can become a place of genuine solutions. Cc: Mynd44 Seun Lalasticlala |

Not many people come back to Nairaland to share their testimonials and success stories, but of the last decade, people have gotten jobs that cummlatively have earned billions of Naira, and others have struck deals which cummulatively must have reached trillions of Naira in the past 10 years. |
The speed with which the Presidency Media Team rushed to the Internet to publish the story of Yusuf Buhari's "accident" made me suspect something. THEY WANTED TO CONTROL THE NARRATIVE! The truth is that this is a case of manslaughter or reckless public endangerment at the least. If Yusuf was racing and collided into Bashir, and Bashir does not survive, the President's son should be charged with manslaughter. Although with the way this story is being spun, clearly the security agents are also tampering with evidence and the scene of the crash. Next step would be to threaten witnesses. Let's continue to follow this case keenly. |
This is the most fraudulent article I've read this year. Thank God that your link to Premium Times shows it is a Promoted article. I've taken a screenshot, and also copied the link which I will submit to the guys at Innoson Motors. They love to sue, and I'm certain they will sue Premium Times, and the PR firm which put out this demonically fallacious fable and in turn, those ones will expose the real sponsor of the article who will then be sued for additional billions of Naira. Thuder fire all you bloody liars and propagandists. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/promoted/253089-innoson-efcc-arrest-gtb-loan-facts-behind-saga-james-osaremen.html |
Bigprick9inches:Good morning. It's about 2 weeks already. |
Innoson needs to make a SMALL 4-door N1,000,000 car that is the size of the Kia Picanto. That is what will help them break the market against imported vehicles. Keke Marwa is already N650,000. If Innoson can build a small car that is just a little more expensive than the Keke Marwa, a lot of Nigerians will buy. Taxi drivers, Courier companies, low income earners will patronise such a vehicle, especially when they have good Lease Purchase deals with financial institutions, and also have accessible service centres all over the country. |
emmaliver:Okay. I hope you get money real soon, so I can get a buyer soon too. ☺ |
Who go buy? |
Still available. |

Bigprick9inches:You have to come confirm the equipment, then make at least a 20% non-refundable commitment. That's the only way I can keep them for you till 2 weeks time. So that if other buyers come, I can tell them it's sold. |
FortifiedCity:LOL! Not really O! I get one car we I need to repair and put into the Uber system. |

When you say Lekki Scheme 1, is it the same thing as Lekki Phase 1? If so, call it that. |
THIS IS THE MOST POORLY WRITTEN STORY I EVER READ IN MY LIFE! PLEASE READ THE REAL THING BELOW: A National Youth Service Corps member serving in Benue State (names withheld), suspected to be infected with Monkey pox, has been quarantined at Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH), Makurdi. The state’s Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Dr. (Mrs.) Cecilia Ojabo, who disclosed this to The Guardian yesterday in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, said that the corps member was suspected to have contracted the disease after having sex with a girl from Gboko who was earlier diagnosed positive with the ailment. She said the corps member, who is on his national primary assignment in the state, had revealed to have had a relationship with the girl. Ojabo said: “When we learnt of the case of the Monkey pox in Gboko, we swiftly moved and confirmed the lady at BSUTH Infections Unit and the blood sample from her was sent to Senegal. Few weeks ago, the result came back confirming her positive. “The girl told us that she got the disease from a driver who spent a night with her, but when we call the man on his number, he denied visiting Benue. “The third case of Monkey pox in the state was reported of a boy schooling in Taraba who came home at Katsina-Ala with symptoms of the disease, but vanished when a medical team was dispatched to the place to verify his case. “But when the parents of the boy with a suspected case were contacted, they also feigned ignorance of their child’s whereabouts.” https://guardian.ng/news/nysc-member-quarantined-for-monkey-pox-in-benue |

Crowdfunding is the way to go for the citizens of this country. The biggest organization's lavishing the most Mey recklessly in this country are the Government and the Churches, and both are crowd funded by common Nigerians truth Taxes and Tithes respectively. If we can channel the ability of 180,000,000 Nigerians into Crowdfunding Health, Education, Politics, and Power, we will shock the whole world. IT CAN BE DONE!! Queenlovely: |
Spme women have butts which are shaped in a manner that if they bow as is meant to be done during Sallat, it could illicit sexual desires in some men who are not spiritually strong enough. We have also heard of Churches, where ladies wear short skirts without underwear in the front seats, and expose their private parts to the men on the pulpit. I believe some Churches are already taking measures against this. |
Whoever dreamt up this Paul Usoro project to lead the Bar is terribly misguided. The person wishes perdition on the Bar. It is worse than a bad dream and it has to be stopped. The levels of impunity in Nigeria are staggering. The motto of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, commits it to promoting the rule of law. We cannot do that without integrity. Paul Usoro is charged with having bribed James Agbadu-Fishim, (I refuse to call him “Honorable Justice”), a judge of the National Industrial Court, with N800,000 paid in 3 instalments of N300k; N400k, & N100k. Paul Usoro himself admits to having given the judge at least N450k, claiming it was contribution towards his vacation. The judge is presently on trial for these acts. The payments he received from Paul Usoro are in evidence in the trial. In a sane country, Paul Usoro should be facing disciplinary proceedings at best & should have been disbarred. In Nigeria. Someone is parading him to lead our Bar. That Bar belongs to us all. No one has a right to even think about this. https://i0.wp.com/www.barbaric.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Mr.-Paul-Usoro-SAN-700x400-1.jpg?w=700 This idea that a lawyer who admits to having bribed a judge is even considering himself for the office of President of the Bar while the judge that he bribed is being prosecuted & the payments he made to the judge are exhibits in the case is worse than a terrible joke. It is an insult to us all. We all have a duty to stop it. This Paul Usoro project for Presidency of the Bar has to end, fortwith. By all means let all lawyers of decent standing aspire for the Bar Presidency. I want to go on record: Paul Usoro has no standing in morality &, I would venture, in law to even consider aspiring to the Presidency of the Bar now or ever. He should bury his head in ignominy. The only right he has is to go before the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee to clear his name or be disbarred. Period! Let me be clear: My name is Chidi Anselm Odinkalu. I am a Nigerian lawyer who also belongs to this Bar that will be ruined by this aspiration birthed in arrogant impunity. It will not work. No lawyer with the charges against his name that Paul Usoro has should be allowed to insult us in the way this Paul Usoro project seeks to do. It is awfully aggravating. Hey guys, Teefah here – I know I am super late to the Rihanna Fenty Beauty party but I finally got my hands on some products from Riri’s highly buzzed about makeup collection which has shaken up the make up game with it’s debut launch of 40 foundation shades. What I discovered was that when shopping for my Fenty Foundation in particular, it was challenging matching my correct foundation shade online, because we do not have a Sephora or Harvey Nichols where I live, which is Nigeria. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Plyjy2kKrZE But I found a method I used which worked for me and I was able to correctly match my foundation shade to 430. Perhaps this will work for you too, especially if you don’t have access to a Sephora store to get matched. https://i1.wp.com/www.barbaric.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/how-to-match-fenty-foundation-online-teefahxoxo-1-e1511452391746.png?resize=533%2C300 Aside foundation shade matching, I was disappointed to find that Fenty doesn’t ship to Nigeria. I commend Riri for her game changing makeup line, but how are you going to call your makeup range “all inclusive” with worldwide shipping & not ship to Nigeria ![]() Fenty needs to do better… You can also subscribe to the TeefahXOXO YouTube Channel HERE: https://www.youtube.com/TeefahXOXO?sub_confirmation=1 SOURCE: http://www.barbaric.com.ng/makeup-teefah-shows-match-fenty-beauty-foundation-order-nigeria |
Statement of resignation of His Excellency Atiku Abubakar (Waziri Adamawa) Vice President of Nigeria, 1999-2007 from the All Progressives Congress (APC). On the 19th of December, 2013, I received members of the All Progressives Congress at my house in Abuja. They had come to appeal to me to join their party after my party, the Peoples Democratic Party, had become factionalized as a result of the special convention of August 31, 2013. The fractionalization of the Peoples Democratic Party on August 31, 2013 had left me in a situation where I was, with several other loyal party members, in limbo, not knowing which of the parallel executives of the party was the legitimate leadership. It was under this cloud that members of the APC made the appeal to me to join their party, with the promise that the injustices and failure to abide by its own constitution which had dogged the then PDP, would not be replicated in the APC and with the assurance that the vision other founding fathers and I had for the PDP could be actualized through the All Progressives Congress. https://i1.wp.com/www.barbaric.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Atiku-Abubakar-APC-registration-e1511513393627.jpg?resize=496%2C350 It was on the basis of this invitation and the assurances made to me that I, being party-less at that time, due to the fractionalization of my party, accepted on February 2, 2014, the hand of fellowship given to me by the All Progressives Congress. On that day, I said “it is the struggle for democracy and constitutionalism and service to my country and my people that are driving my choice and my decision” to accept the invitation to join the All Progressives Congress. Like you, I said that because I believed that we had finally seen the beginnings of the rebirth of the new Nigeria of our dreams which would work for all of us, old and young. However, events of the intervening years have shown that like any other human and like many other Nigerians, I was fallible. While other parties have purged themselves of the arbitrariness and unconstitutionality that led to fractionalization, the All Progressives Congress has adopted those same practices and even gone beyond them to institute a regime of a draconian clampdown on all forms of democracy within the party and the government it produced. Only last year, a governor produced by the party wrote a secret memorandum to the president which ended up being leaked. In that memo, he admitted that the All Progressives Congress had “not only failed to manage expectations of a populace that expected overnight ‘change’ but has failed to deliver even mundane matters of governance”. Of the party itself, that same governor said “Mr. President, Sir Your relationship with the national leadership of the party, both the formal (NWC) and informal (Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso), and former Governors of ANPP, PDP (that joined us) and ACN, is perceived by most observers to be at best frosty. Many of them are aggrieved due to what they consider total absence of consultations with them on your part and those you have assigned such duties.” Since that memorandum was written up until today, nothing has been done to reverse the treatment meted out to those of us invited to join the All Progressives Congress on the strength of a promise that has proven to be false. If anything, those behaviours have actually worsened. But more importantly, the party we put in place has failed and continues to fail our people, especially our young people. How can we have a federal cabinet without even one single youth. A party that does not take the youth into account is a dying party. The future belongs to young people. I admit that I and others who accepted the invitation to join the APC were eager to make positive changes for our country that we fell for a mirage. Can you blame us for wanting to put a speedy end to the sufferings of the masses of our people? Be that as it may be, after due consultation with my God, my family, my supporters and the Nigerian people whom I meet in all walks of life, I, Atiku Abubakar, Waziri Adamawa, hereby tender my resignation from the All Progressives Congress while I take time to ponder my future. May God bless you and may God bless Nigeria. Atiku Abubakar Waziri Adamawa SOURCE: http://www.barbaric.com.ng/atiku-abubakar-resignation-letter-decamps-apc/ |
The situation is not so good. It's 4.00 O'clock Friday 21st September 2007, I'm at HiTV Headquarters, Ebute Metta West, Lagos. The situation is really crazy. The entire system; dish; LNB; Decoder, is being sold for N55,000. To get the system at N55,000 you will go through the eye of a needle. After that, you will need to get it activated in the reception area, where the guy in charge will ask for settlement. He says it's the "market strategy". In the reception, there's a big screen showing HiNolly. The resolution is really poor, but I'm sure on a 42 inch or less, it will be reasonably clear. Ehen, I've generally harassed the activation guy to do it for a customer without settlement. Few people supported the cause, majority of our patriotic Nigerians were telling the customer to settle and go. Nigerian mentality. I just pity the guy because he came from the Eastern part of the country and is planning to go back today. Though I've convinced him to make it tomorrow. I didn't offer for him to stay in my place though. Make the guy nor go think say all this my niceness na to arrange rob am. Lest I forget, there are no chairs in the reception. You will stand for hours so that you can be more willing to pay whatever price they ask. What kind of organization will forget to put chairs in their reception?! The only management staff I could converse with even found it difficult to give me his name and his number because from what I could see, they were all involved in the shadiness of the dealing and the factorization of Nigeria into hiTV. He finally obliged though, but I see no use to which that can be put now. Nigerians are just generally bad. It's not our leaders, it's not the curse of oil. We must change the general attitude. Reject what is bad, correct people that are doing wrong, and report this issue to the press and HiTV itself via email. Well, I'm signing out now. |

Why does APC regularly hold party meetings in the State House? Don't they have a secretariat? Is this even legal or Constitutional? By the way, "PDP did same" can't be the right answer. |
