Acidosis:Sorry sir, it has been sold for N120k and shipped to Abuja this afternoon. I do have a really clean and very powerful 2HP Samsung AC for N100k: https://www.nairaland.com/3628826/samsung-triangular-ac-fairly-used
|
Still available. |
SOLD! SOLD!! SOLD!!! Thanks Nairaland! Shipped off to a buyer in Abuja. Sorry to those who showed interest in buying. Only one could have it.
|
Apologies Acidosis, the price is totally fixed. I've made that very clear in the 2 places I posted it. Damola1 that is what works best for Nigerians, however, I'm not the haggling type. That's why I prefer to go to a supermarket, even though the open market is closer to me, and even cheaper. As long as I know the value of an item, I will pick it and pay for it if the price is set to reflect that value, and that is what I do when selling too. This TV is not worth N150,000. Probably N135,000 at best. So to avoid long talk, I put the price at N120,000. Anybody who is really serious about buying a 42 in Smart TV would have made some searches online already. If they see a good deal, they will know and take it. I already have 2 interested Nairalanders who are willing to make payment today immediately after inspection. I'm selling to the first person I can meet. Thanks guys. |
Horlufemi These points you have raised are quite relevant. But you overlooked the most critical of them all, which is that from the get go, it was stated that the price was fixed and non-negotiable. Hence with all your concerns about the risks of buying "dead glass and plastic", the next option would have been to walk into Fouani Brothers store, where I bought mine, and get yourself that 4K UHD TV. It really is that simple. However, if what you truly have is N30,000 and you really want to buy something in that price range, then I am ready to sell you the Remote Control and the Carton. I can then sell the TV for N110,000 and make more money sef. Arguing won't help any of us at all. By the way, the price is N120,000 not 130 as you stated in your message. Abeg, don't chase my customers away. |
This one has obviously run mad. |

This sounds quite farfetched. You're yet to provide any evidence still. If you cannot post the bet slips because the matter is is with the authorities, then how much more can you make these unprovable accusations? If you're sure of what you are saying, post a VERY DETAILED Press Release of this matter via www.barbaric.com.ng/submit-an-article although you must provide some tangible evidence including pictures of bet slips, screens hots, and other information. We will take it from there. I don't have any issue with Bet9ja, in fact I play Bet9ja. However, if they are scamming people, I will make sure I bring them down. Betting is very serious business guided by very strict laws. They could end up in jail if your claims are true. |
flyca:Alright then, I'll email you so we can discuss further. |
Sorry guys, I don't intend to be rude, but I'm sure there's somewhere I mentioned that the price is FIXED, meaning that it is NON-NEGOTIABLE. I don't plan to sell, even for N119,000. Thanks to all those who have sent texts and called, I u derstand the issue of distance, but right now, even if someone is coming from Baghdad to buy this TV, it won't go below N120k. ExpressBooking the TV is as neat as if it had never been used before. I'm not sure of of availability by 20th June, and with your price, don't bother at all. 4 people have already offered N100,000 including my in-law, my neighbour, and 2 Nairalanders. It really is a waste of time. Depending on how the exchange rate remains, the price may even go up to N125,000 before 20th of February. For those interested in purchasing it at N120,000 right now, the number to call is 08093403611. Than you all. |
Horlufemi:LOL! Nairalanders got jokes! You'll get only the remote control and the carton for your N30,000. It's this desperate desire to buy luxury items for dirt cheap that gets a lot of Nigerians scammed on OLX. |

SOLD! SOLD!! SOLD!!! Released Mid-Late 2014, this 42 Inch LG Smart/Satellite TV (Model-42LB580V-TA) is one of the coolest LG products of that year. Featuring an inbuilt decoder, this TV would want to make you dump your cable TV decoder as it can get Free To Air Signals. The TV comes equipped with pre-built smart TV. The amazing picture quality brings any movie especially HD movies to life, thanks to the IPS panel. This TV is very slim with an impressive trimmed metallic silver edge finishing lining the rectangular sides which also slightly advances towards the expressive white back. Don’t really know what LG was thinking when they decided for a white back, but it looked totally cool. The slim edges provide a wider screen aspect radio exposing a larger screen area. The rectangular frames sits on 2 beautiful but simplified “Y” shaped stands on either side of the TV giving it an impressive overall look. There are no button on the sides of the TV but only one button underneath just under the LG logo on the bottom part of the TV which is a multifunction button for power on and other functions. On power on, the smart TV interface is simple with easy to use features that would basically not need explanations. Features that would more often be used are brought to the forefront. Features External: 3 USB ports, 3 HDMI ports, Cable TV Port, Antenna Port, Audio Headphone Jack, and other standard/regular Audio/Video (AV) ports. Internal: Smart TV features including a browser for internet browsing, apps for news, games, online radio, video streaming etc such as Al Jazeera, YouTube, Hulu Plus (For US market), Viewster (For Nigerian and other markets), Skype, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Another internal feature is the IPS panel for greater colour and video quality than regular panels. Additionally, there are features and facilities for wireless network connectivity, video streaming from PC to TV, remote control from smartphones or tablets (requiring app download from App or Play store), hotspot, multitasking features such as Mini TV ( which gives a mini version of TV program while browsing). An inbuilt TV recorder makes it possible to record TV programs for later viewing. Video/Image Quality The video quality is fabulous. The best thing about this TV goes is the video quality. The rendering is amazing at 1920 x 1080p native resolution. There used to be this general thinking that when it comes to picture quality that Samsung TVs were leading but i can authoritatively and arguably say that is not the case with this TV. Price is N120,000 and it is FIXED. Location is Ajah, Lagos. Phone: 08093403611 (this number is not on WhatsApp).

Okay, cool. The price is still N100,000 though. I'm sure if you search well on Nairaland, or go to you could find a 2HP AC for about the price you're offering. It's just that they look sort of overused, discoloured, and battered, but I'm sure with adequate cooling gas, they'll work just fine. Normally, I wouldn't be selling this AC, because I know it'll be hard to get anything on its level for that price. But I hardly sleep at home because of the hustle, and man needs some cash in hand to weather the recession. |
Well, I don't see what I can possibly gain by insulting you Singapore1 . It is the true definition of a "fairly used" appliance. Not overworked, no scratches or fault whatsoever. The model number is AR18FCFSBWK. The price is N100,000 and it is a good price for that matter. The price is fixed, and my phone number is 08093403611, only for buyers interested in acquiring the AC at that price. Thank you. |
Singapore1:The price is in the subject: N100,000. |
The Samsung Split Air Conditioner 2.0 hp (Triple Protector) AR18FCFSBWK, is striking and loaded with better cooling efficiency and durability. It can cool a very large space, ideally your parlour. The TWO-STEP COOLING means immediately you switch it on, it rapidly cools to attain a desirable temperature, then it slows down to maintain that desired temperature. Samsung's incorporated protection expertise poses superior durability and dependability. Cools Faster, Farther, and Wider The Samsung Air Conditioner has been designed from the ground up to be outstandingly efficient. Its uniquely triangular design has a wider inlet, so more air can be drawn in. This unit was bought brand new from Jumia in 2015, and has been rarely used. The original 2 year warranty on it will expire April 27th 2017. Bought brand new from Jumia, it is very clean, and almost like new. The first image is the photo of the AC on the day it was originally delivered by Jumia, however, the carton has been thrown away now.

The location is still Ajah, Lagos. The price is still N120,000 and it is FIXED. More photos.

More and more African sports lovers are turning to sports betting as the multi-billion dollar industry continues to grow. Officials in Ghana have expressed concerns over how youth are getting addicted. Sports betting and other forms of gambling are becoming a phenomenon across Africa. Betting over which sports team might win has become a multi-million dollar industry. By 2022, the global gambling market could be worth $635 billion (596 billion euros), according to new findings by Dublin-based Research and Markets. In Africa, countries like Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa are witnessing a huge expansion in sports betting and other forms of gambling. Lotteries, poker, sport bets, slot machines, casino games, and online gambling is the new trend. Many enterprenuers and foreign companies are pocketing millions thanks to the gambling boom. In Ghana’s densely populated slum Nima, the situation is dire because many unemployed youth spend their few coins in the hope of “making big cash.” During the English Premier League, Spanish La Liga and the Champions league, sport gambling becomes the order of the day. “I just felt like betting and won on my first try. Since then, I have never stopped. There have been many losses and few wins,” said 19 year old Baba Seidu. Idriss Musa from Nina was lured into betting by his friends, since then, he has been doing it without his parent’s knowledge. “I started watching football then my friends told me about the betting. So I started,” Musa told DW. “I help my father with work so he gives me small money then I come and bet,” Musa said. In Ghana, there has been a rapid increase of betting companies such as Supabet, Mybet, Premier Bet, Eurobet and SafariBet. Mobile gaming in Kenya In East Africa, Kenya’s SportPesa is taking gamblers by storm. Young Kenyan football lovers are betting heavily leading to a boom in gambling across the nation. SportPesa which was launched in 2013, boasts over one million registered users who can easily bet using their smartphones. SportPesa requires individuals to register as a member with their phone numbers as their user name. Members can then start placing bets on the team they think will win in a particular match, or predict a draw before the game starts. Chezafutaa, Betway, Betin, Elitebet, Betyetu, Justbet, Easybet, Lucky to You and KenyaSportsBet are some of the companies that allow gamblers to use mobile phones and redeem their prizes through mobile money transfer. The latest entrant is Lotto which promises a guaranteed jackpot of 100 million kshs ($966,000 or equivalent to 908,000 euros). Proponents of gamling argue that the industry comes with benefits to the economy. Gambling activities serve as a recreational enjoyment to the majority of the youths who also get safe places to pass time. The government earns revenue from the centers and for those without a solid source of livelihood, the wins would also count as benefits for the participants. Reports estimate that SportPesa earns at least 40 million euros in revenue. The same can be said of betting companies in Ghana which rake in millions in revenue. China’s hand in Africa’s gambling Critics like Ghanaian Efutu Member of parliament Afenyo Markin, accused the Chinese who mainly own and run most of the gambling centers, for taking advantage of young people. “Those Chinese who have come with their raffle joints, I want to tell them we will encourage the police to close these joints down,” Markin told DW. Chinese investors have also been accused of taking advantage of lax laws to operate illegal betting centers in the rural areas. “There are lot of raffle joints in Winneba. Properties are getting stolen because somebody wants money to go raffle,” Markin added. An influx of Chinese goods in many African countries has allowed the entry of cheap internet-enabled mobile phones and slot machines. In Kenya, one can purchase the slot machines for as little as 100 euros directly from the manufacturers. Some of these cheap slot machines are situated in the slums or middle class neighbourhoods. A game of addiction It only costs a euro or less to bet which means gambling is no longer a preserve for the rich. Many young people like Seidu have been struggling to stop the urge to bet. “That’s the challenge I am facing. Sometimes, I want to stop even my mother wants me to stop but I can’t. Hey, I can’t stop like this, I can’t stop. I am still poor,” Seidu said. Musa warned other young people not start gaming to avoid getting hooked.”Sometimes when am coming to watch football then the thing [betting] will attract me, then I will start playing,” Musa said. The Gaming Commission of Ghana has started a campaign to close down all gambling centers operating illegally. Religious leaders in Nima have expressed concern that gaming firms are luring young people from vulnerable communities who are idle and are looking for an easy way to make money. Except for South Africa which is a more established gambling market, betting laws in most other African countries are quite recent, and regulation is still poor. Still available. Location is Ajah area. |
sinistermind:So you think it is so terrible to pay people only based on how much good business they can deliver? You think a real job is one which someone shows up in the office everyday, and gets paid at the end of the month, even if their productivity is zero. My dear, when you start running your own business, you will revisit these questions. |
lade0011:I've just sent you my phone numbers. Hope to hear from you soon. |
