The Vice-President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), said Gen. Muhammadu Buhari will create 20,000 jobs in each state of the federation making 720,000 jobs nation wide in the first year during the presidentail campaigne and also will revive our agricultural sector by providing a ready-made market for farmers and encourage them, as the government will be purchasing their farm produce. But today Nigerians who clamoured for change didn't get jobs but has loose twice the amount of the proposed 720,000 jobs to unemployment as it have worsen to 1.3m and still counting in just 4months. Only God knows what will happen to Nigerians at the long-run.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on 23rd of April who said it has formally shut its doors against members of the Peoples Democratic Party wishing to join its ranks. The party also enjoined members and leaders of the PDP to stay where they were and rebuild their party to play its new found role as the main opposition party. It advised the PDP to come to terms with the hard reality that its fortunes had plummeted and that it was now in the opposition. APC which further said stay in your party you are not welcome in the APC and will never accept any other decampings.

But the same APC received Alaibe who was a formal PDP chairman into it folds on the 9th of August 2015, not only receiving him but also was one of its leading aspirant in the APC gubernatorial fold in Bayelsa state.

The All Progressives Congress who condemned President Goodluck Jonathan on the 24th of March 2014 for embarking on foreign trips in other states instead of visiting Yobe State where schoolchildren were killed by Boko Haram. The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has said on the 11th of Sept that troops have destroyed all known Boko Haram camps and cells within the troubled North East region. He said the terror group had been mortally wounded, adding that the sect’s members would never hold or capture any part of Nigeria’s territory again and has destabilize there ways.

On that same 11th of Sept after press statement, 7 die, 13 injured in Yola IDPs camp explosion. Not only has they killed so many people in Borno and Adamawa after on the 11th of sept this press statement was made, Boko Haram terror group have released a short video on the 29th of Sept on how they openly celebrated the Sallah festival in their hideout in northeast Nigeria on the 27th of Sept where the same APC claimed has been totally destroyed. All in the same month.

After waiting several months about the much talked Ministerial list,

Buhari had promised at several fora that the ministerial list would be send to the Senate on or before September 30 and reassured on different occasions about this. On Wednesday, the last day of September, there was no ministerial list in the chamber. As I speak to you, the Senate is yet to receive any list of ministerial nominees from President Muhammadu Buhari but rather taking pictures with Saraki unofficially claiming list submitted (the same paparazi style). The date has been further shifted to on the 6th of Oct and only God knows if this will finally come through.

The states road in Edo are nothing to talk about, when it rains you dare not come out because you will be trapped for hours before you can even walk (not even driving). The little roads constructed by Oshiomole with billions of naira under 7 years has already worn-out. Pictorial view of some roads in benin city.

More than 20,000 persons lost their jobs in Oshiomole's regime and their was no single employment rather than employing party faithfuls as casual teachers and staffs and paying them #20,000 as a fix payment without promotion of any such or additional benefits. But rather instead of creating employment, he still milks money for application form from the unemployed who are seeking job every year without employment.

The UNIBEN house which houses the university of Benin VC was demolished along side other staff house in UNIBEN residential quarter after court order restraining him not to do so. But in his defense, he claimed they were state government lands and this caused a great riot which led to burning of government properties by protesting students from the university. But today these lands were shared among close friends and political loyalist of Oshiomole.

Okonjo Iweala denied Oshiomole loan after finding he is incurring billions of debts on the state and the same loan was immediately signed by the Buhari (Same party) regime without considering the economy and questioning the previous huge amount of debt incurred on Edo state. The local government council is nowhere to talk about. Some councils have been owing workers for 7months without payment blaming the state government of not remitting the local government funds and in-turn the state government pointing hands at the local government chairmen in mismanagement of funds met for payment (Playing hide and seek games with workers). Same party controlling state and Local government pointing fingers at each other. Oshiomole has made them puppet and make sure they follow all he commandments.

He sold EDO HOUSE in Lagos but till today nobody knows anything about the funds, he stated that revenue accruing Edo House in Lagos will be used for the development of the much needed five star hotel and a business district at the heart of Benin. It's less than a year for him to leave office and nothing to show for that.

In states in Nigeria, GRA is a residential area housing the government house and also many government building and same time where the rich people dwell. GRA is a place where you always have zeal to visit whenever you visit a new state to know how beautiful it entails. But for Edo, the reverse is the case. The roads are bad and when it rains it is flooded and affects Ihama seriously where Legislative house is. Boundary road was the attraction of GRA because is one of the main entry points to the GRA from the Benin Airport. It also leads to the famous Benin Golf club and Edo recreational centres. After obtaining a N25billion loan for the purpose of the Benin water storm Project,2 years after this is what the Edo State Government has to show and also shown are some bad gully areas in the centre of Benin city after awarding such a huge amount.

Ambrose Alli Univervisty projects and also uncompleted Administrative block. This building when completed will be the attraction of the school and was started by Igbinedion and later he left office. After Oshiomole has been heavily criticized and condemn by students in Edo State for increment of the state school fees, he came to the state University a year to his 2nd tenure election and promised the students this building will be built by 1 year and condemn the last administration for not completing it. The construction was started immediately and little did they know it was just a mere political sweetness to cajole them in his upcoming 2nd term election. Immediately after winning his 2nd term ambition, it was abandoned and that is the state of the building pictured below and in addition to that no single hostel has been built under Oshiomole and the already existing ones are left non maintained. Not just school alone, but the ever busy road leading to the school (Ihumudumu road) from town is a dead trap.

Not just the state University that was affected, but other Tertiary institutions built by the Igbinedion acclaimed corrupt government was completely neglected in Edo State despite collecting huge tuition fees every year and which has been making them go on strike from time to time. These institutes includes:

- College of education Igueben;
- College of Education Ekwadolor (He claimed to have advance it to University without even placing a proper infrastructure on ground)
- College of physical education Afuze
- College of Agriculture Iguoriakhi
- College of Agriculture Agenebode
- Institute? of technology Usen

The famous Airport road talked about by Oshiomole's administration as achievement was built without stating the actual amount for the project and also the water fountain at ring road which has an annual budget of N500million as maintenance and was claimed as tourist of attraction by the government has been abandoned. This is the Edo state Library built and equipped by Igbinedion, the state Government has long abandoned the building.No single book has been bought since his regime and the big building left to waste without even renovation. Isn't this wickedness?

Edo State Fruit Juice processing Company , Ehor which was built by Igbinedion was not left out, this company made so many people millionaires and added to the state internal generated revenue. People sell their fruits to this company and they process it to juice and package for sale to different part of the Nation. People were engage in pineapple, orange and other fruit farming which made it easily to sell your harvested fruit. It is a different story to tell today that this regime has not only crippled the company but made hundred of people jobless and almost reduced Agricultural practiced in Edo.

Edo State Fertilizer and Chemical Company,Auchi which was built by Igbinedion is no where to be found today. This is a company that created employment for graduates and generated revenue from sales of fertilizer and chemicals. But today it has not only lost staffs but no more in existence. These fertilizers were subsidize for Edo indigenous sons and daughter who were having passion for farming due to the favorable farming conditions laid by the Igbinedion regime.

Edo line which was built by Igbinedion, was a means of transportation by the average Edo people, Edo has not only lost thousands of staffs but it is no more in existence today. Sacking thousands of workers working in this firm and rendered them jobless and this has subjected many people paying more money travelling within the state.

Everybody must have heard of the 2013 LG council election conducted my Oshiomole. Oshiomole was the major architecture of one man one vote during 2011 General election and this got him a good name in the national level but the Oshiomole in him came 2013 when he conducted his 1st election thereby robbing Edolites of their mandate and install his loyalist as chairmen. The greatest electoral fraud where election was still going on and result was declared in state capital.

But today, The Edo State Urban Water board today has been neglected rather used for a purpose nobody knows about, forcing the workers quit their jobs after several years of non payment of salaries. Gov Lucky Igbinedion built this water board where staffs can carry out there water projects and monitor the already built ones to work effectively. But today reverse is the case.

Bendel Brewery was the fancy of every graduates (mostly chemistry and chemical engineering graduates) to work with and was among the resources of Edo State, but today it has not only lost all it workers due to neglect by the present government but has been abandoned and locked. Gone are the days when BENDEL BREWERY COMPANY was every Edolite dream to work.

Cassavita company,Uromi which was built under Igbinedion was the talk of the town during his reigns, were farmers in Edo State were rich and proud to be a cassava farmer. Every farmer who wishes to sell his harvested cassava doesn't need to stand inside the sun at the market anymore, all you do is go to the company, sell your harvested cassava and these cassava are processed into chips, garri, flour and other bye product and sells to other states and even as far as exporting which encouraged majority of the jobless youth engaging in farming and drastically reduced crimes during those days. Agriculture was at growing passe in Edo State were every farmer was proud to be called a farmer. But today, it is a different story to tell. This regime has not only crippled the company but made hundred of people loss their job. Weed has overgrown that place and you won't even recognize the entrance anymore. Here was visited by outsider for business and was one of the cassava plant functioning in Nigeria.

Lucky Igbinedion who ruled for 8 years and during this reigns his achievement was scored low by EDO people but some of his achievement which among were

- Edo State Fertilizer and Chemical Co. Ltd.
- EDO Line. Benin.
- Ambrose Alli Univervisty hostels and also uncompleted Administrative blocks.

Igbinedion effectively make sure all the state industrial sectors he met ( Edo Cement Factory, Bendel Brewery and Ewu Flour Mill) and built were functioning and also created more than 20,000 jobs in all these companies.

But today, the reverse is the case under Oshiomole who has spent 7 years in office and in the last 7 years,the Edo State Government has received close to N800 billion from the Federation account,which is times more than what the Lucky Igbinedion administration received for 8 years and a huge debt incurred of over N300billion and more than N30billions he has generated as tax revenue for the over taxing of Edo Commercial activities.

Everything I am about to put down are verifiable facts backed with pictures where needed.

Edo State is situated in South South axis of Nigeria which is made up of different ethnic groups with different languages. Have three senatorial district which comprises Edo South, Edo Central and Edo North and with 18 local government areas.

Since 1999, Edo state has produce 3 governors namely.

Lucky Igbinedion (PDP) who ruled for 8 years though hated by majority of EDO due to his stay in power between 1999 - 2007. He was hated by 90% of Edo residences to an extent that even when his name was mentioned to a particular success he achieved you could be lynched. The ACN now APC used propagandize tools to ruin Igbinedion's government and made him to be hated by majority after his tenure. Though he wasn't a saint.

Osunbor (PDP now APC) who ruled for only 1 years plus but was truncated by Election tribunal for election malpractice. Though he wasn't really figured negatively and was mostly loved my the students because of his bursary allowances he granted.

Oshiomole (APC) who has been ruling Edo State for 7 years now. He retired as a labour leader and joined politics to contest the 2007 election. He was the voice of the voiceless and the fighter of freedom then and was able to win the heart of Edo people with this gesture. He was loved by majority of Edo people (including Nigerians all over). Even after been rigged out successfully, him and Edo people fought for his mandate rigorously and many lives were lost during this process. He turned messaih for Edo people and was loved from all angle by all his promises. But today tells a different story of him.


As I will be discussing, this topic will be base on facts and will be backed with pictorial facts where necessary.

I once told some set of people when you are a dullard and same time surround yourself with failed people you can never achieve your aim.

These people has no future plans for Nigerians rather on how to be in control of power at the centre and their own person interest.

Buhari prefers to be with Bill gate and Clinton while the rest delegates roaming the street taking picture rather than be in the UN Boko haram meeting which poses a serious threat to the Nation at large.

I have been a guest of this site for more than 5yrs and I am always reluctant or lazy to pass through procedures for registration. Not because I have no reasonable things to share or contribute but I just read front pages and majorly political section.

Ever since I have been using this site, I found it not worthy on taking pains to browse through all Nigeria newspapers online or spending money on daily newspapers (Vanguard, Punch, Nation etc) because every articles on other newspaper pages (both national and international) and blogs are copied here by members of this great forum and the most I enjoy is reading comments (interesting, relevant, inrelevant, odd, funny, tribal and sentimental ones) which makes me laugh and people around me wonder what's wrong with this dude. Lol

I commend the owner of Nairaland (Seun) for this great house he built for creating and sharing our own collective views. This site is just everything you can think of. Because all aspect of life, all our need has a section on this forum. I got my first dog from Nairaland and that Dog big pass human being now. lol

But there comes this man who was Barcanista and later transformed to TonyeBarcanista. I follow his topics on regular basis even when I was a guest member. He argues reasonably and put fact in all his articles and writings. The only person that causes nightmare to the opposition. Sometime when I have some heat argument with my friends I secretly opens he thread and pick a harsh point and facts with verifiable source to nail them and this has be working.

I will say I am a full member of this forum who will be active from today not because of any other person but was attracted by the brains, excellent writings and arguable facts of Barcanista and again the owner of this site (Seun) for creating a nice atmosphere for Nigerians both home and diaspora.

I salute everybody in this forum and will render my contribution and comments to this forum when needed.
