Can u throw more light on this?
as quoted from where i read it

After installing the App on your mobile. 1. Go to Nairacalls.com 2. Log in with you username and Password you used in registering on the App. 3. Click on Buy Credit, Minimum credit you can buy is $10 and the Maximum you can buy is $25. Only these Denominations are available. 4. I buy with my Emirates Paypal account so I think your Nigeria master card should suffice. 5. After your payment has been deducted from your account and you will receive a mail confirming your payment. 6. Refresh the App and you will see the amount you have bought and you can start making calls. Like i said I use $1 to make 20minutes Call to Nigeria but you need Internet to make any call from your App. Goodluck

Um well yes some people live off the government without tax. This happens when they have no job and u have responsibilities and stuff so they declare bankruptcy and ask for support from d government. But of course they stop it after a while if they see u are unwilling to work. I don't know about the pregnancy thing but I know u get 300- 450 euros from the gov when u have a child. Even if u have a job. This is a general thing for people who have kids. Whether working or bankrupt. We now pay 25-30 percent tax and in the end of the year we get some money back. It all depends individually.
okay thanks for the insightful information...

Lol ya. It's a lot of tax to pay. That's why the social security is real unlike in Nigeria. I have a friend who lives off the government just cause she had a baby in Germany. But after marriage d tax is reduced cause now u have more responsibilities

living off the government as in no tax? is that possible...... and when there is family or marriage it reduces to what % and is it tru they pay pregnant citizens

After a few years u will start to earn more. And when married u don't pay as much tax. Didn't know doctors earned that less for starters. My husband earns 5200k euros per month but we had to pay almost 40 percent tax sha but I also earn a relatively good amount of money every month so it's hundred percent better than in Naija Where we earn at most 200k NAira every month. And that's if u know somebody. Lol. But once ur married u go to a different tax class. U can save more money then. Taxes are minimal when u have a family

40% tax? my God some peeps salary for months..... little wonder education is free

Billydragon, olabode89, wenny, sirkezman, and oda bosses...

This is Urgent!

I have booked @wakanow.com... Turkish Airlines.

They just called me back, asking how many years visa I have. When I said it's a year Residence permit. The nice lady said they don't issue one way ticket to people with one year visa. (I booked one way).

Please bosses, no be one way ticket una dey book?
Abeg make una respond sharply.
They giving me about an hour. Like there are very limited seats now on that day and at the present price.

Though she was concerned about immigration people stopping me and all that.

Cc: Travel agents, immigration officers.

i guess you just tell them its a student visa and it doesn't require a return visa that's it's only tourist and business visas that do..... be very convincing to her..... most of them are using market strategy........ just say na student visa

Nope. I studied Electrical Engineering. For admission I submitted the usual docs: Motivation letter, TOEFL, Two references, WAEC and JAMB result, University certificate, transcript. These docs are constant for most schools(except some programmes that may not require your motivation letter or your waec and jamb score).

As regards the GPA, since you are on IT, I advice you focus on scoring an A(it's 6 units I guess) and just keep a good record in final year. Many schools have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.5 or 3.0 (on the German grading scale). If you can get a higher grade then you have more chances. At the end of it all, just keep working hard: hopefully we all will be here on this forum to help you out when the time comes.

You can convert your grade with this: https://www.mspe.ei.tum.de/index.php?id=mspe_grade_converter

Thanks for the enlightenment........ bros you try oh from electrical engineering to geophysics u be boss...... thank God i can come ask u how studying it be like...... cos its part of what am eyeing for masters
danke

Bro. I chose LMU because I would like to study Geophysics. At KIT I would be studying Optics and Photonics in the programme known as KSOP. Even though I like the course, I prefer Geophysics, and that's just the reason I chose LMU.

Besides, LMU is also a top school (I noticed they were the most successful university in the Excellence Initiative organised by the German government) wink

P.S. How come I didn't see this post yesterday

lemme guess you studied physics..... well am thinking of specializing in geophysics also... what course did you study in undergraduate and please what and what was requested for admission and pls what the range of CGPA used as we dey nuture gp so as to no how hard to nuture it...undergoing IT now

Hi guys,

while the struggle for blocked account cntinues, I will like to chip in something for those who wanna transfer large amount of money from account A to account B

Just approach ur bank and open an online banking platform. stanbic bank is free
First bank is 1k or so
Gtb is 3k plus token, then initiate the transfer.

Its as simple as that. #150 will be charged for Max of 1m withing 24hr
so in total, you will part with #300 for 2m.

My candid suggestion.

that's the best solution some banks atm can even use onlime quickteller or go initiate it on atm machine
