Just do a little research. Salary of lecturers in Igbenedion or any other private university of your choice amd compare it with the presemt salary of lecturers in government universities.

Well no Universities in South East and South West collect 30k as school fees in this Naija. Who told you the government has agreed to the UTAS? Well you ain't informed, not your fault. Edo state University with enough classes and equipped laboratory? If there are students that stand in that your state University while lecture is on, oboy it is not up to standard.

The money that have been looted for so many years, don't you think it would've gone a long way in equipping our Universities? We want everything cheap abi, well the cheap one you attended is really showcasing itself.

the the same year for courses, same curriculum..everything is the same... the difference in that in secondary universities..lecturers dont sleep with student for marks, they dont drain student with handout fee, they dont dump their students for a whole semester only to show up during the exams day, there are no unnecessary cult group and criminal gangs, their instituions ae better equipped with convenient learning environments etc..

In saner countries, people are paid hourly. You work for 1 hour, you get paid for 1 hour. It makes people more productive. Lecturers should clock in and clock out to work going forward.

In Nigeria we have lecture halls with few seats, thereby stressing students to sit on the floor during lectures. How do you think these students will perform well? Buhari and co should invest in education, this is why private secondary/primary schools are booming, the federal/state owned schools have dilapidated buildings with no seats for kids. If care is not taken, this will be the story of govt owned Universities.

If there needs have already been met, they should be happy and go back to the classroom and let go the 6 months salary they didn't work for as a sacrifice for the struggle and for the interest of the students.
It's not as if the will add value to the educational sector more than they have been doing already before there needs were met.
