I can never forget that early morning I saw from my window a Yoruba man UnCloth his trouser and urinated inside a well used by locals for domestic purposes. Some of this traits make me feel we are not connected. |
^ the mods are highly tribalist yorubas. they banned me once and left their brothers eko-ile, aigbofa and bluefool to continue attacking us
Yet Seun is not Yoruba, though with a Yoruba name. |
There are so many things Yorubas do that will make you wonder if they are related to the Igbo. I do not really think so |
There are more dismilarities between the two groups. For example, When a man takes his life in Igbo culture, it is an abomination. While in Yorubaland, it is not. |
agbotaen: there is nothing like anioma , this was a word coinned by dennis osadebe in 1950 ,it was taken from ika, ndokwa, aniocha and oshimili ,and oma was added meaning good. these four groups lived in this area , it was a phrase he coinned to refer to these diverse ethnic groups who spoke 11 ,languages , but and because of hundreds of years many of them developed similar cultures, anioma or delta north is made up of igbo, edo, yoruba, igala, and others . that is why many of these groups reject being called igbo. but the igbo language is popularly spoken in these area that is why many igbos believe it is an igbo area, and many of these communities have gradually phased out their languages for igbo , inorder to communicate with many.in anioma we have communities that believe they are igbo ,we also have those that believe they are not igbo, so if biafra is gotten those that want to go with them will go, ans those that dont want to go will not. i am ika and i am not igbo, when biafra was first muted our elders did not follow them. What a senseless post above. Ondo state is a Yoruba state despite the fact that their are other ethnic groups there e.g Ijaw, Edos etc. Anioma is an Igbo state to be, Less than 8,000 of you who do not see yourselves as Igbo should pack out when Anioma state is created. Long live Anioma. Long live Ndigbo. |
I don't think too many people would say that I'm one of the most tribalistic posters. And if they do, well... *shrug*
You are not but this people are Osiris Dayokanu), dudunation, aigbofa, bluetooth, oduasoldier, bitterend, eko ile, lagcity, ileke idi, namfav and ystranger |
Omo yoruba ni mi o swagger.Thank you for representing odua nation.
Do not bring tribalism into this thread. There is no way you will know that he is Yoruba. Sone Edos, Ijaws, Egus bear Yoruba names without being Yoruba. Perhaps, the man is not even Yoruba or from the south west. Please say no to tribalism. |
Help needed for Adekunle, no matter how small it is. He is in a mental health dpt of a nursing home. Helppppppppppp.
|
And now Yorugba kids beg for food from Igbo households.
|
I do not know why Musiwa hardly comments about Awo's death and events that led to his death such as this
|
Am fond of the Eguns. They are peace loving people. Despite the fact that their Yoruba neighbours do a lot of criminal activities in Egunland, they are not clamouring for the expulsion of yorubas from Lagos unlike the Aworis. Long live egun people. |
To the dude who mentioned black scorpion adekwunle, think of how you can support adekwunle in a mental health department of a famous nursing home in America.
