Exactly.Russia is in deep mess and I believe Putin didn't see this coming. When the effect of those pulled out companies starts biting hard, Putin will realize his mistakes.

U.S turned to Venezuela and their relationship is getting better by day.U.S wanted to cripple Russia's economy.

Putin's old strategy of dividing and disuniting the West and Nato was working, but he got too corny and grossly drunk on his own flawed judgment and strong man gra gra and end up uniting not only the West but the rest of Europe and the world against him.

Russia is almost totally isolated and barred from global sports and cultural events, no more soccer, no more Olympics, nothing, they are totally isolated.

Russia is a weak and poor mono-economy, very undiversified economy, and apart from oil and gas, they depend on the outside world for most of their consumables, goods and goods, and services from the West.

Look around you, I'm 100% sure you won't see anything made or manufactured in Russia.

Real superpowers make big-ticket global brands, they make cars and luxury products, they make cars, private jets, major cell phone brands, they control the TECH space from Google to Apple, Spotify, FB, Netflix, also Finance, no global food brand, the list goes on and on, but nothing is made in Russia, no serious export FX earners.

Ordinary Mastercard and Visa dropped Russia, no more international payment system, but Russia the fake superpower and tens of millions of Russians inside Russia are all of a sudden in limbo, Russians outside Russia can no longer charge or pay for services so Putin ran to China to beg for access to use their payment system.

Just look at them, they are fighting small Ukraine but their coordination, communications, morale, troop cohesion, and logistics suck big time, almost 2 weeks and Ukraine is still standing and fighting, still making Putin and his soldiers look dumb, stupid and incompetent.

It's even sad that Russia lost 2 generals in less than a week.

Russia is a fake superpower and Putin is obviously very dumb, rretarded and overrated, the clown made it easy for the West to defeat him and clip his wings without direct confrontation or Nation to Nation battle.

Politics / Lagos Tricycle Operators Pledge Allegiance To MC Oluomo by NGpatriot: 4:43am On Mar 09, 2022
The four zonal chairmen of the Tricycle Owners and Operators Association of Nigeria (TOOAN) in Lagos State, have pledged allegiance to the Lagos State Council Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya (aka. MC Oluomo).

The chairmen and hundreds of their members stormed the NURTW Agege State secretariat to express their displeasure over the interference of the national body of the union in TOOAN affairs. They warned Zone ‘C’ Chairman of TOOAN, Alhaji Azeez Abiola (aka. Istijabah), to desist from parading himself as the overall chairman in the state.

Coordinator of the chairmen and Zone ‘A’ Chairman Alhaji Kamoli Bakare (aka Papi), said the zonal chairmen never subscribed to the appointment of Abiola as their leader.

“TOOAN comprises five Zones. I’m the chairman of Zone ‘A’ and coordinator of the zones. We are operating under the Lagos NURTW and the council did not appoint Abiola as our chairman. The letter he’s parading on social media is untrue,” he said.

According to him, five of them including Abiola were interviewed and sworn-in as zonal chairmen in 2020 for a four-year term in office.

Foreign Affairs / 200 Major Companies Have Pulled Out Of Russia So Far by NGpatriot: 3:45am On Mar 09, 2022
in response to the invasion of Ukraine.

More than 200 major companies have withdrawn from Russia so far in response to the country’s unprovoked war on Ukraine, further hobbling an economy already devastated by Western sanctions.

A rapidly changing list of the companies compiled by Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, a professor at the Yale School of Management, shows representation across a broad range of industries, from Apple to Exxon, McDonald’s to Maersk.

McDonald’s decision Tuesday to “temporarily” close its restaurants and pause operations in Russia is particularly symbolic. The burger chain was among the first Western brands to begin operating in the former Soviet Union in 1990 under Mikhail Gorbachev’s policy of perestroika.

At the end of last year, McDonald’s operated around 850 restaurants in the country, 84% of which were operated directly by the company as opposed to franchisees.

The company employs 62,000 people in Russia and serves millions of customers there each day. McDonald’s said Tuesday it would continue to pay the salaries of its Russian and Ukrainian employees.

Sonnenfeld’s list is more than just a tally of companies wary of Moscow, however: It also inventories the companies doing business in Russia that have so far chosen to remain.

Among them are big names like Coca-Cola, Kraft Heinz, and Pepsi, all of which are facing increasingly loud calls to take action.

While a humanitarian argument can be made for consumer brands like these choosing to remain in operation, Sonnenfeld isn’t convinced.

In an article comparing the current economic sanctions to those imposed on South Africa in the 1980s in an effort to dismantle apartheid, Sonnenfeld argued economic pain is kind of the point.

“Reagan’s argument [in 1986] was that sanctions would in fact hurt South African Black people and not solve the problems of Apartheid, while we lose positive influence,” he wrote. “Those are the same counterarguments echoed today about not hurting Russia’s population. The purpose of sanctions, however, is to impose pain without the violence of war.”

“Vladimir Putin, the most vicious autocrat of this century, rules through tyranny and fear. As he continues to fail, people will lose their fear and he will lose his power,” he added.

Foreign Affairs / Russia Suspends Foreign Currency Sales As Sovereign Default ‘imminent’ by NGpatriot: 2:00am On Mar 09, 2022
Putin makes drastic bid to steady economy and Fitch warns of risk to debt

Russia has suspended the sale of foreign currencies until September in a scramble to steady its economy, as rating agency Fitch indicated that a sovereign default is imminent.

Citizens will not be able to buy foreign currencies in local banks but they will, however, be able to change them into the local ruble unit.

Between March 9 and September 9 "the banks will not be able to sell foreign currencies to citizens," the Russian central bank said in a statement.

Cash withdrawals from foreign currency accounts at Russian banks will be limited to $10,000 until September 9.

Withdrawals on such accounts will only be permitted in dollars irrespective of the currency in which the account is denominated.

Na me be Ipob members? Very funny

Btw, I have been following this event for years, backed with different documentaries. My analysis are not copy paste like yours, they are personal opinion based on my own perception without siding any of the party...

I was part of NL's who started the crisis discussion even before they start making FP on NL.

Go and check my analysis, they are far ahead of Western media narratives cos I have different sources to follow the news

I'm not interested in your shallow, ignorant and unintelligent ipob nonsense, take the lecture and say thanks.

Is it not obvious that you are clueless and vacuous? You don't know anything about the subject matter, what transpired, who did what and even the basics like when the conflict started and who started it.

You see this war heh, it's full of hypocrisy. The narratives people get about the events depends on their source of information.

Ukraine had plans of attacking the Secessionists cos they knew they were planning to declare independent soon. USA, UK, NATO and EU have been supplying weapons to Ukraine to fight that war.

The last military exercise conducted by Ukraine military at the black sea was final preparation for the attack.

Russia got the Intel, expressed his concerns about the implications of attacking the Secessionists as almost half of them are Russian, by birth, citizenship.. EU, NATO, US have not been taking any of the Russia concerns seriously.

When USA was shouting Russia would invade Ukraine, they knew what they were talking about cos Russia would definitely move to the Secessionists area to protect them which is in Ukraine territory.

The Secessionists are not interested in any independence, they have changed their tunes to they want to reunite with their big brother Russia.

The question is would Russia have allowed the Ukraine military to bombard the Secessionists even though they have been on bombardment since 2014.

The mistake Putin is currently making is you do not quench fire by adding more fuel, he should have considered the humanitarian crises his attack would cause, the destructions of lives and property and how the world would think even though most would be fed with one side of the story .

Btw, majority of the foot soldiers of Russia in Ukraine are not even Russians

Your post of course is full of self-fabricated stories void of facts, history, and realities on the ground.

Is it possible for Ukraine to plan attacks against the separatists when in fact they've been at war since 2014 with thousands of deaths on both sides?

The separatists are proxies for Russia, they shot down the Malaysian airliner with Russian-supplied Missle.

Putin is a disaster waiting to happen, another modern-day Hitler that must be stopped.

Putin uses the same tactics in Georgia when he used the Russian-backed self-proclaimed republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia to invade Georgia,, but the world looked the other way and let him slide.

He went into Chechyian, the world looked the other way and let him slide

He invaded Ukraine and took Cremia, changing the map of a sovereign country, the world looked the other way and let him slide

He unilaterally declared independence for separatists in Ukraine, the world looked the other way and let him slide

Now, what's next, go into Poland and just keep invading countries and societies all over the world, causing pain, destruction, massive refugee and humanitarian catactrophy?

How I wish people like you just shut up sometimes with your flawed knowledge and poor understanding of global affairs, you just jump in the internet and start typing rubbish, lies, and bogus nonsense.

If you are going to engage in such discussions, at least do a little research, read and understand the facts..
