calabardick: what do you know about Automotive Physics?that bus you claimed you studied and know more about, if I should ask you some questions about that bus can you answer?
you better keep quiet with your elementary physics. I was expecting you'd come out and defend the pics earlier than this lol...I av a few questions for you though 1. when exactly did I tell u I 'studied about' any bus talkless a leyland?... 2. when did trying to let you know that braking systems aint magical become being an auto mechanic? 3. what exactly did you plan to achieve by posting dashboard, tail light and reverse cam feed pictures?...that you're a driver?...or a Kazeem? 4. By automotive physics did u actually mean automobile physics? Anyways, I am an engineer not a road side mechanic and neither a mass transit driver as you seem BUT it's obvious you have little knowledge of automobile engineering and it's not like I blame you for this as we all can't be engineers. Consider this my final reply to your jargons..ciao |

why do you think you know much about automobile or physics? stop making noise here about physics, accident is accident. er..otic?...this is where u need brains not your dickkk...damn! I can't even imagine arguing with someone this silly though...ciao

streetzdreamz: of course the speed determines the time of complete halt of the vehicle, there are variations in speed, highway, residential n so on ,that's why we have speed limits, but some drivers prolly ignore this signs as though they are useless,if the speed limit is not exceeded, bringing a vehicle to a complete halt should take seconds,if all things are equal with the brake system, vehicles this days are equipped with abs which makes it really easy and reduces stoppage time,if a statistical analysis is done, for a 90% of road crashes, the bulk of the blame goes to the drivers and human error, less of mechanical faults, and yes they don't ever learn from previous crashes, and deduce a means of preventing a replica. finally!!!..someone who understands the physics behind driving in comparison with the mechanics of automobiles not someone who would back up his lack of knowledge with dashboard pictures(who even knows what that is supposed to mean?) Welldone bro! |

calabardick: take a look at that picture, if the busman was speeding the bus wouldn't be that close,
Mr. Engineer Driver, no matter how congested the erea is, will you dare a railway? even when it passes in the busy market. is a train with its mechanics anyway comparable with a bus ?.....is a railway track constructed in the middle of the road...and about the bus, it uses a servo that brakes the vehicle efficiently....it isn't same as a trailer's brakes me I don tire to dey explain things like this... refer to a road safety manual and a braking system manual for cars, buses, mini buses, trucks, trains |

calabardick: majority of lagosians are foolish and sensless, how on earth can one enters a BRT lane and walk comfortably?
Don't blame the bus man for this incidence because you were not there. i use BRT everyday, some humans on lagos street are sensless. you need to go to mile 12 & see how some dirty kaftan wearing animals run on the BR TRY lane when the buses are there, it is a disgusting sight. .
they will see the bus coming, instead of you to wait for it to pass before you cross, you will see them rushing in, they think BRT can break like other smaller vehicles, no it can't, it needs long distance to stop, the breaking system is air and hydraulic, it's an articulated vehicle, it very heavy.
i fear BRT lanes than railway, i don't encourage anyone to use that lane, it's a shortcut to hell.
keep off from BRT lanes please, there are warning signs everywhere saying "THIS IS BRT LANE, DON'T ENTER" av you ever seen anyone wander on a brt lane knowing fully well a bus is on his tow? try schooling an engineer on how the brakes work lol... finally, if you know how to drive which I seriously doubt, youll know that you must always give thought about emergencies that could cause you to apply a sudden break that is why you need to limit speed in a populated part of town....if you know that side where the accident happened, youll know how populated it is... |

streetzdreamz: yea right, the bulk of the blame goes to the drivers, always thought this vehicles had no functioning brake systems until I studied one, though its a bit difficult stopping this vehicles atimes cuz of their mass, load and speed, but the brake system always seems perfect except in cases of brake failures,a look at the pics suggests that the driver applied the brakes a bit too late, cuz the distance BTW the dead man and the bus is quite small, but I thought this portion of the road is designated for just brt buses, crossing it shouldn't be a problem, death is sometimes unavoidable though, rip to the man. Bro,if you see the way those BRT buses move around that side, youll b surprised..and the funny thing about brakes is they can only limit speed till it's low enough to allow the vehicle come to a complete halt....those guys run too much to brake completely in times of emergency |

ceejay80s: Then why is it that they kill all the time the drivers are just most times intentionally wicked....i kinda understand though, I was opportune to drive a friends Tundra(which even isn't a trailer or a mass transit bus), I know the way I felt seeing cars like toys below me,people crossing looked quite insignificant...guess it's the kinda feeling that multiplies when big rug drivers hit the wheels. plus BRT drivers were ill informed that they av the right to crush anything obstructing their lanes, they've lived to do that ever since....and unless there's a speed limit on all brt lanes, those fools won't know the lanes are actually just in the busiest city in Nigeria |

OlujobaSamuel: a family friend of ours said if you are on auto transmission, you will have to engage the D1, D2 or D3 that its on the gear shift. D1 is when you are on normal motion, D2 is in case of emergency, that when you pull it to D2, it divides the speed by 2, same for D3 for vehicle that has it. That is, if you are on 120, your speeds break to 60 for D2 while it breaks to 40 for vehicle with D3 options. i dont know how true though, maybe someone can help with the use of those signals To some extent it is true but those Drive gears are speed limiters....like when u don't want to go beyond a certain speed,i dont know if they work when u lose your breaks though and not all cars av D1, D2, D3...D is the common one and I once used D1 though mistakenly once, I only noticed the car wasn't gaining good speed, the speed dropped after a few seconds of continuous has pedalling I'm not into auto trannys anyway,to me they suck... perhaps someone who has used those 'auxiliary' drive gears might b of help |
Car Talk › Re: What To Do If Your Brakes Fail by niceeric(m): 9:14am On Jan 25, 2016*. Modified: 2:35pm On Jan 25, 2016 |
what to do when your break fails (9ja version) 1. If na manual tranny, you're protected...use handbrake carefully(i prefer the slightly engaged and disengaged method till speed reduces)...if engaged fully on good speed, you go use your car write 'C' for road and that one go dey disastrous oooo....at a very reduced speed, youll do panamolenu while on gear 1( kill the engine while gear one is engaged)...the car would jerk a few times and come to a halt... If it's an AUTO, and on very good speed, at this point I'll first say :- there's nothing beyond the power of prayers...that said, move your gear lever to neutral first (atleast the moving coffin won't gain more speed) BUT if you are in a sloppy road!!!!....nothin concern neutral again ooo....just wait on the Lord and prepare to meet. you can as a last resort engage your handbrake halfway and release a few times....works well on level roads till u find a good pole, truck, gutter to end the story with.
2. this is for people like the old me who do not care to check if the handbrake in our vehicles work or not (who doesn't like gear parking on manual tranny abi just shifting to park and jumping out of the car when parking). Anyway sha, when u notice ur brake on your manual is gone and in good speed and the devil makes u also see you av NO handbrake too, well, that's one lifeline gone...you're still safe, refer to number 1 above without the handbrake part ofcourse, downshift and when speed reduces, kill the engine while in gear BUT if it's an auto, well, pray as usual, wind down your glass, stretch forth your head and yell like hell!!!!!...you can ask some Kamoru or Wasiu to help with throwing stones or a nearby tipper boy can help u throw a heavy duty 'shock' under your car to stop you....else, look for a good pole and rely on your airbags.
Ok I don try...I go wait for them oga siena and other car gurus to speak make we learn more |

Dbanj made donjazzy fact! Donjazzy made dbanj fact!
Dbanj made him with the its don jazzy again line and they both financially setup the mohit label then hence none can use it. Dbanj was the first artist to appreciate producers first before others followed suit! Abi una know the producer behind african queen by 2face or do me by psquare
Don jazzy gave dbanj the best production! Cause he leveraged on those mad tunes from him!
The only guy he produce without no reverse work effort but credit by the artist was WANDE COAL!
He single handedly gave him the best album from a nobody guy as at then in nigeria! Up till now some albums can't stand "mushin to mohit"
---------------------------------------------------------------
Olamide has given atleast 2 artist from his label a life as an artist from zero to something with back to back hit!
Lil kesh is one, adekunle Gold is two!
Who knew pheelz Mr producer was that good? Through olamide, pheelz now remains a force in production world!
Or is it Young john the wicked producer? Who he uplifted and now everyone knows that line!
Olamide dropped I'd cabasa who was has legendary in production as donjazzy forget the hype aroung jazzy! 9ice is a big project of cabasa! Thanks to gongo aso! With this great producer, olamide still come alone from nobody in 2011 to be a force in just 5years and raise two solid artist in new generation and two solid producers of this age now in 2016, just 2011-2016! Give it to him! ----------------------------------------------------------------- They've all sacrificed for the development of the industry! 5yrs vs 10yrs! Regardless of the years but there impact in alleviating poverty, unemployment in the creativity of the art they are known for! In the absence of any other fact/figures to disprove the above fact; the YBNLs have it!!! |

Mindfulness: You were insecure before you got married ('everyone was married but me') and you are insecure after you got married (but when I say that marriage is not the magic cure for happiness, people will argue. )
The reason why you feel insecure is not your husband's appearance, the reason why you feel insecure is inside of you and it will follow you wherever you go. so you're sayin she crazy right?...atleast!...
