Herald47: To the yorubas and hausa/fulani biafra is the second name for war. isn't it so? we know your first campaign for it(Biafra) started a war the second you are agitating for has also started with violent protests with chants of war as the theme songs....we all know another war is what you want. Considering the fact that those who were in their prime during the first war are either old now or dead, its safe to say the little ones chanting war cries do not know what fighting and surviving talkless winning a war entails.... |

aminaadamu: First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
~ Martin Niemöller
This saying is so true for the present stage of dictatorship we find ourselves now.
1) They rubbished Madueke without facts, we were silent.
2). They arrested Dasuki, we shrugged, na dem dem.
3). They shot at unarmed protesters we said it serves them right(why did they burn mosque)
4). They sent a bill to gag freedom of speech and we kept quiet.
5). They held Nnamdi Kanu against court orders, we kept quiet at least he's not my relative.
When they come for you, just remember your silence.
"In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies but the silence of our friends"
~Martin Luther King Jr. why are u comparing A with Z? I know there are other corrupt people asides Madueke and Dasuki, its politics At play-their current freedom and it would av happened the other way round if the current opposition were in power.....Im not in support of that kinds politics but that's the way it is all over the globe. BUT we all know Dasuki, Madueke and others currently being quizzed and 'embarrassed' by the current government aren't innocent....so it's not a case of just witch hunting...a yoruba adage is translated in English thus, ' if there are no cracks in a wall, lizards won't ever get into it'....if those 2 and the others weren't corrupt, no one would av been able to bring up unfounded claims leading to their arrest/prosecution.... As for Kanu, he knows how treacherous it is to threaten the sovereignty of a nation... therefore he's not clean though I hope he's released as I'm sure he knows better now deep within him. |

Chukwudi45: there also lots of northerners in the east.By the time the killings start,it might likely go round and the entire country will be on fire. but don't u think we don't actually need and uprising at this time of our existence as a country? the economy us nose diving, the standard of living is plunging.....we should be working towards nation building and not tearing it apart |

Rajosh: you did a good job but you shouldn't have publicized it. the good Lord in heaven who sees in darkness would have rewarded you. you've already received your reward already from the numerous praises. I had same perception at first but I changed it when I saw it this way: he publicised it cos he felt Nigerians with our usual carefree, selfish, self centred attitude would take a cue from his act of love for his fellow man and emulate this character. He'll be rewarded for his selflessness and he has obeyed the greatest commandment of all which is all about love for one's neighbour(s);that comes with its own rewards too. |

OlujobaSamuel: it's harmless when alone, add itn to your account number,, then I have you pix, signature, fingerprints, and I also know your bank so I will just order for change of mandate, change your number, order for a new atm since 2atm can work on a single account, and I can even make the card(clone) myself, then wait till the day God will bless me with millions through you. Don't dare the devil pls, those guys are devil's PA. scam no be your way walahi.....so let's say u av my name, age, pic, date of birth, hour of birth, second of birth. finger print copy after mysteriously hacking into my bank's server and you present yourself at any of the bank's branch to request for a new atm citing any reason possible, you think you'll get one after your(my) bvn is asked from u and a search done on the computer and my face shows up on the screen with the almighty details u av instead of yours........will u or will u not end up in the nearest police station? |

hensben: Because He is called Jesu Kristi in Yoruba. In English, He is called Jesus Christ not Khrist. u don't get my point do u?...the pronunciation, spelling and what av u arent as important as knowing the 'man' behind the name....Yeshua an Aramaic name became Jesus in English, Christos in Greek language became Christ....this shows no matter how the name is translated and rewritten, Jesus Christ remains thesamd cos He's more than a name...I cant say more about this. |

youngice: I respect your maturity, but there Is a big difference between translation and "pimping" up a word, you translate for emphasis stake, its just like all those kids on FB that changed their names from adetola to hardeytaller , that is down right immature, can she love-vendor her fathers name like that hmm...u av a point there... though I think(not strongly though) that if Khrist really means Christ to her,we shouldn't really crucify her as knowing the essence and power behind that name is the most important thing plus knowing how to call on Him when necessary too...I doubt that's right in her case though but wait, who am I to judge? |
