How you come about that percentage is amazing. I have never been afraid to state my persuasions face to face with anyone I engage in dialogue or debates. And I would still do the same thing if I were to meet YOU Nicer face to face!

Nairaland should actually be called Islam-bashland. Seriously, the level of Islamophobia on this forum is unprecedented! Initially I tried to discuss on a few threads with some of the most ardent bashers (no names) but when i went thru all the other old threads, i realised how hopeless it was to respond to these guys.

Mukina, what u should realise is that people who call u names on anonymous forums are cowards. 90% of people cannot say the things the say on anonymous forums, when they are face to face with people. That's why the internet is a playground for timid and cowardly people. That is not to say u won't find intellectuals here too. (i actually find one of the ardent bashers very sound,really brilliant but again, no names). So i'll just advise u to ignore the cowards and if they get on ur case too much, talk to Seun so he can get 'em off and let the rest of us breathe!
I have no problems with religious criticisms as long as they are constructive and not blasphemous.

Congratulations to all those that passed. Better luck to those who didn't make it,all is well. U guys that passed, u need to start preparing for the next stage. It is called the Assessment Center stage and it's the last stage. U need to brush up on your presentation skills, u need to learn how to talk at meetings, how to relate with colleagues, how to deal with business problems. it's simple, really. Just have the right attitude. u can go on the net and find out all about assessment centres. There's an excellent post somewhere on nairaland on how assessment centres are run (can't remember who posted it).

Chief supporter. carry on. I have given up on u guys. i really don't think religious arguments achieve much because faith is a blind thing. there's no amout of evidence u will bring (short of showing up with Jesus Himself) that will convert any staunch muslim so why waste ur time?

Let me leave ur religious threads to u and go to romance,entertainment etc. Life's too short to have High Blood Pressure over other people's beliefs and wahalas. From time to time sha, i'll check on u guys and see how many people u have converted.

i agree with u. by all means, criticise islam. u can't just keep quiet! i have no problem with that. It's just that when someone now takes it as a full time job like nossycheeks is doing,there's a problem somewhere. where is this deep seated resentment coming from?

And to answer ur question: Muslims can be very intolerant sometimes, that's the truth. Very,very. But that is not to say it applies to all muslims. And does that warrant spending hours on the net, reading,digging up dirt to use in forums all the time? surely, there must be other things to discuss.

I agree with you that both sides have used some very strong language (out of vexation, perhaps). I've also learnt beyong my very small understanding of Islam and Christianity - thanks to them both!

What I can't understand though. is the fact that a Muslim refers to his Muslim authors as (*****)!! I can't get it, and it still amazes me up until now. The hypocrisy and deceptive dribbling - those I am quite used to. But denouncing one's own fellow believers is perhaps a new one that will take time before I digest it (if at all)!!

Well, maybe he feels the author was not knowledgeable enough on the topic,yet he wrote a book on it. That could be the reason. U know it's very annoying when u see someone confidently talking trash.

what is going on in this house? Stimulus & Babs 787, i admire ur power of research and ur posts would have been excellent if not for the abuse and blasphemy on both sides. is that really necessary? I've watched a lot of comparative religious debates on TV and they can be really heated but they NEVER abuse themselves or blaspheme the way u guys are doing. is it a nigerian thing? (cos these debates are usually in the UK).Make  una take am easy. and the Supporter's club members that are adding fuel to this fight,cool down. Seriously though, I'm loving this debate.
