The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) is the state oil corporation which was established on April 1, 1977. In addition to its exploration activities, the Corporation was given powers and operational interests in refining, petrochemicals and products transportation as well as marketing. Between 1978 and 1989, NNPC constructed refineries in Warri, Kaduna and Port Harcourt and took over the 35,000-barrel Shell Refinery established in Port Harcourt in 1965.

In 1988, the NNPC was commercialised into Strategic Business Units, covering the entire spectrum of oil industry operations: exploration and production, gas development, refining, distribution, petrochemicals, engineering, and commercial investments, namely:

Pipelines and Products Marketing Company (PPMC)

In 2016,​ following the repositioning efforts of the Corporation to become a global energy company, the PPMC and NGC were restructured to give birth to new commercial entities as follows:
Nigerian Gas and Marketing Company (NGMC)
Nigerian Gas Processing and Transmission Company (NGPTC)
Gas and Power Investment Company (GPIC)
Nigerian Products and Marketing Company (NPMC)
Nigerian Pipelines and Storage Company (NPSC)​​​

It's different for everyone, but I had questions like;
NNPC was setup in, who is the current UN sec gen, full meaning of opec, efcc,
Civil war started and ended in... They pulled from those current affairs in the past questions.
Study them very well

Yeah, just plead with them, I got there 30 minutes late and still took the test

Exactly o, I was surprised, for once they got it right.
I was for 9, got to the venue about 9.30 and they had already started.
Rush in to take the test

The exam was very easy, arithmetic, current affairs and verbal reasoning.
I finished in 25minutes
It is jamb questions

This CBT was easy.

I bet you that tomorrow, this NNPC pple will be overwhelmed.
The test will not start in time, they will be running Helter skelter, at the end it all, most venues will start in the afternoon, pple will be dragging to enter the venue and do the CBT.

Nobody will even send whether your print out is black or blue.

Workforce have sent list of top performers to CPFA. CPFA is conducting interview to screen them and choose d best amongst them. Let's say Workforce sent 5names for system admin position, CPFA will screen the 5 and maybe choose 2best for d job. In the case that none of d top 5meets what they want which is very unlikely, then they ll ask workforce for more names. Once they get d 2 candidate that they need for each position, workforce will send reject email to d rest.

If u haven't yet gotten email, the odds are very low for u. I have strong intel that interviews where conducted last week Monday and will be conducted today and tomorrow.

I m just assuming that they are looking for 2position for each role. I might be wrong. It could be 1 or 3.

It's my opinion that workforce got it all mixed up from the inception.
They should have started with a role based CBT test and set a benchmark of about 50-70%.
Then the interview should have been technical.
At the end of the day, the candidates who emerged from the process could have been thorough enough for CPFA.

I am undergoing this same role with Interswitch, the CBT test, no be here o..., was purely role based,they took from 70%
The technical interview eh, u will be sweating inside AC

Nice one. Thanks for d details. So owing that workforce have already done technical interview, is it possible that this invite is for another technical interview by CPFA? I was of d opinion that once workforce recommends u to CPFA, then its almost a done deal. But it seems that is not so. It seems CPFA is still heavily screening people out from ur message. Do they pay in USD? Y all this rigors?

I wonder. The most baffling thing about all this is that most positions are just for one person.
