Thank you so so much, your response saved me oh, I haven’t been here for some time , I missed my appointment on the 15th September because I forgot my passport, I was gonna request my passport to be brought to me that day they said my time has passed and that I will pay 30k and I said lie lie lol

I went home after all I am not planing to travel this year so no rush, I thought that getting a new date will be easy but it was tough, after so much phone call to them to release my ref number so I can get a new date , sometimes the website won’t be showing any available date at all but I kept trying till I found October 3rd, my biometrics letter was gonna expire on October 7th .

I woke up this morning around 2am because I had slept early then I decided to check this thread then I saw that u can reschedule for a closer date without losing my current date, I decided to check it out and I saw a date for this morning oh chai , 10 am, in few hours I will be headed to VFS! Make I go keep my passport for my car to avoid forgetting it , my other documents are in my car already , I will just have to print my new appointments letter…

Thank you so much because I never knew I could get a newer date.

For anyone looking for date, the site is funny sometimes , just keep searching and you will find , it seems it is easy to find early appointments at night , I booked a US visa appointment date for my brother and he got March 6th 2024 while the ones I booked for my cousins since May 2022 is for May 2024…

And to the person who needs help paying their visa , I can help you to pay if you are in Lagos , come to ajah Lagos , only drama free people abeg oh, I no get power at all

And to the man who claimed that he walked into VFS without appointment , that is not possible , every appointment is booked online except you missed it and maybe they will allow you pay 30k for VIP, I refused to pay 30k because I no be VIP, I rather use the money for isi Ewu, Canada no deh run ..

I didn't plan on applying for a Canada visa at all , I just came across this page early last month while checking for something else on the UK travel section of nairaland and decided to apply , I sincerely didn't think it would be approved this fast.

Application submission - 10th August

Biometrics collection letter - 11th August

Biometrics done - 22nd August

Eligibility completed - 28th August

Correspondence letter - 3rd September

Original passport request - 3rd September

Passport submission - 6th September

Passport collected - 8th September.

Passport validity and biometrics validity determine how many years visa you would be issue, but you can Opt to re-do your biometrics if the biometrics validity is closing to 10years

A friend of mine got this in the portal since May 11. Applied thru an agent she paid sometimes in 2021. They didn’t give her her portal info. I was able to get into the portal and saw she’s been approved since April and May 11 document requested and no one informed her. I just saw it and I’m exited but caCan she still get the visa?

Hello, have they requested for your friends passport?? If not before they do tell her to get new one of 5years minimum or 10 years because it’s the number of years in her passport that they will use as duration on her visa, is it’s 9 months that is remaining for her passport to expire na 9 months visa she go get

I applied for VV my biometric is next week(05/09) but my wife's offer letter for her study just came out and she's adamant to proceed wit d study visa while I am also expected to apply for work permit/visa wit her. Even though finance is still a challenge at dis point for us cos we are a family of 3, I still want to knw weda or not is advisable to proceed wit d study route while I have a pending application for VV.

That being said , I believe anyone can do this application by themselves , you don't need any agent to help you especially as some agents from the pit of hell can misrepresent someone and.that can lead to a ban .

You can get to Germany through any other Schengen countries. Croatia just joined the Zone. You may explore Croatia’s visit visa from which you can to go Germany by train or by air.

I know of someone who can help you with Greece visit visa (100%) guaranteed, just that you would want be careful because this is a faceless forum. Don’t forget that visit visa won’t allow you to work legally o.

For study, try Austria or Estonia. They don’t discriminate against your age. But make sure you choose better course to study. Some courses may request you to study German as a foundation. You can take such course BUT have it in mind that you will switch to another Uni before you finish your first year.
