Religion / Know God And Love Others by NickNoble: 5:56am On Jan 08, 2023
TODAY’S VERSE
“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” I John 4:8 (NIV)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
There are a lot of ways we can try to show that we are a Christian. We can go to church. We can attend religious programs. We can pray before meals. We can follow certain rituals. While these may be important, the real evidence that God is alive in our heart is our love for other people. Over and over again, the Bible teaches that God is not interested in our outward appearances, our sacrifices or our religious ceremonies. He is interested in our loving behavior. Are we forgiving, just, loving, kind and benevolent toward our families and those around us? If not, then we need to take time and get to know God better. Knowing God is transformational knowledge. John said that if we don’t love, we don’t know God. In the book of James we read, “Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, ‘Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?” If the love of God is in our heart, then it will compel us to love. Paul shares this kind of love in I Corinthians 13. He writes, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” We say we know God but does our behavior back us up? If not perhaps we only know “about” God. Today, spend time with Him and let knowing Him translate into loving others.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, I confess that my actions don’t always confirm my belief in You. You are love and yet there have been many times that I have not been loving toward others. Forgive me. Help me today to know you better so I will be filled with Your love and go out and love others. In Jesus name.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION
Knowing God helps me love others
Today, mediate on a time when you felt loved. Let it flood your heart. Sense how good it felt. Now picture God coming to you and loving you in the same way. Feel His loving presence fill you with peace and joy, so much that you feel like you must love someone else in the same way. Visualize yourself giving this same love to others. Watch them respond with the same peace and joy you did. Watch as one by one you love others in the same way God loves you.
Religion / You Have A Choice In Life by NickNoble: 6:52am On Dec 22, 2022
Today : It’s Your Choice

TODAY’S VERSE
“Choose today whom you will serve – but as for me and my family, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15 (NLT)

TODAY’S MESSAGE
Choices. Everyday we are called upon to make choices. Some insignificant, some with heavy consequences. There are some choices in life that lead us down certain paths. Marriage, vocation and other major choices all have ramifications on our future. But even the major choices are made up of thousands of other choices. It is the everyday choices we make that determine how we live out the marriage, vocation or our other major selections in life. That is why, what you choose today is so important. You may have started down a path and strayed off. Today you can choose to turn around. You may have habitual choices that have been negative. Today you can choose to go another direction. You have the power to choose. You can choose to love. Likewise, happiness is a choice. God is constantly calling out to us, “Choose me.” God and our choice, what a powerful combination. Choose today whom you will serve; for not to choose, is to choose already.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear God, please help me. I admit I haven’t always chosen wisely. Give me wisdom, discernment and self discipline to make the right choices today. Most of all today, Dear Lord, I choose You. I choose to love You and live for You. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION
I choose to serve Jesus
Picture yourself on the top of a mountain looking down into the valley below. From where you stand there are many roads leading down the mountain. On one road in the distance you can see Jesus. He is waving and saying. “Come follow me. Choose this path.” Focus on His love for you. Sense His presence and His deep care for you. Spend a moment considering whether or not you want Him to be Lord of your life. When you are ready, say out loud, as a prayer, “I choose to serve You, Jesus.”

Dear child of God,
I am glad to see that you are alive today to read this message. Many have passed away from the beginning of the year up to this moment but you are still alive because God has not finished with you.

You may not be happy that you have not achieved what you want. You may be suffering in some ways you think it's time to give up. You may be going through alot and think God has forgotten you.
I want you to understand that God has kept you alive despite everything because your light is about to shine beyond measures and your glorious testimony is just around the corner.

You must have heard the saying that there is light after the tunnel or after the storm comes calmness. If you believe that your life is about to change for good and everything is going to turn around for your favour this coming 2023, the I want you to prophesy it into your life right now. Tell yourself that you believe God is making you see greater things this 2023.

There are some people out there I see going through so much pain. You carry so much burden in your heart and it feels like there is no solution. You have tried so many places seeking help but nothing has changed.
If you are such a person, I want you to send me a message immediately because God is going to change your story if you believe.

May the good Lord be with you all and grant your heart desires this 2023.

Religion / Living A Life Of Love by NickNoble: 7:08am On Dec 20, 2022
Today : A Life Of Love

TODAY’S VERSE
Lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. Ephesians 4:1-3; 31-32 (NLT)

TODAY’S MESSAGE
How can it get any clearer than this? Paul is commanding you and I to live like Christians should. Today you are to be humble, gentle, forgiving, loving and patient. Today, instead of bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words and slander, you are to be tenderhearted, forgiving and kind. How will you live during the next 24 hours? You will have opportunities all day to choose. Today, call upon the Holy Spirit to fill you and lead you as you live this day the way God has called you to. The good news is, He will.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Oh Holy Spirit. I need to get rid of all the negative emotions and behaviors in my life. But I can’t without You! I need You to produce Godly behavior in my life. I want humility, gentleness, forgiveness, love, patience, tenderheartedness, and kindness to be my normal experience. I want to be a witness to others of Your love through my behavior. Come Holy Spirit, convict me, correct me, forgive me, inspire me, teach me, guide me and fill me. Might I live completely under Your control. Might my life bear the fruit that only You can produce. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN

TODAY’S MEDITATION & VISUALIZATION
The Holy Spirit helps me live a life of love
Picture yourself coming to the Holy Spirit and asking Him for help in the way you live. The first thing he asks you to do is to take off bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, slander and any evil that you have. One by one you take them off. You begin to sense a freedom as you peel them off. Then one by one He gives you humility, gentleness, forgiveness, love, patience, tenderheartedness, and kindness to put on. With each piece you feel stronger. They fit! You realize that the Holy Spirit is empowering you. Your heart swells with love as you affirm, “The Holy Spirit helps me live a life of love!”
Religion / Put Your Trust In God by NickNoble: 6:30am On Nov 18, 2022
TODAY’S VERSE
“If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt.” James 1:5-6 (NIV)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Have you ever had people you are close to make a decision about something you know a lot about, yet they never asked your opinion? Have you ever been asked your opinion and then totally ignored? Have you ever been asked to “weigh-in” on a decision only to have to “buy-in” to a decision you disagree with? It is hard when you are ignored or when decisions are made that you think should have been different. What about God? How does He feel about people who go through life never asking for His opinion on anything? How about people that pray a desperate request never really intending to listen? Or worst, what about those that ask God for wisdom and treat His answer as simply a “weigh-in” deciding later to ask God to “buy-in” to the decision they made contrary to what God suggested? Ask yourself, “Do you ask God for wisdom or do you go about your life without His opinion?” Or, “If you do ask God for wisdom, do you listen to it or are you off to something else not really listening for an answer at all?” Finally, if you do ask for wisdom and hear God’s voice, do you “obey” it or do you “weigh” it. James tells us to ask God for wisdom and then believe God will give it to us and not doubt His answer. Today, when you need wisdom, ask God, really ask Him. Then, listen to what He says. When you hear, follow His path. It is like the old Hymn says, “Trust and obey, for there is no other way. To be happy in Jesus, just trust and obey.”

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, I know that I don’t ask You for wisdom like I should. And when I have asked, I have often ignored You. Forgive me Lord. I know I need Your wisdom for this life and I ask that You would give it to me. Then, Holy Spirit, guide me, direct me, empower me to do what Your wisdom dictates. In Jesus’ Name.
AMEN

Religion / Always Remember The Power Of God by NickNoble: 7:29am On Nov 15, 2022
TODAY’S VERSE
“They forgot what he had done, the wonders he had shown them.– They did not remember his power.” Psalms 78:42

TODAY’S THOUGHT
What is worry other than forgetting the power and promise of God? The legacy that the Jews, who fled from Egypt, left for their children is that they forgot about the power of God. All the miracles, all the provisions and yet they were guilty of murmuring, complaining and idolatry. They lived as if God did not exist. Jesus came many centuries later and still found the same lack of faith. He was born amongst a people who did not know the all powerful God. So He showed them. He taught them not to worry about their needs because God would provide for them. He taught them to seek Him first and everything they needed would follow. Jesus lived among them for three and a half years. They saw the miracles, they heard His teachings, they experienced His power and yet many of them still not believe. They saw the miracles but like the Jews in the wilderness, “They forgot what he had done, the wonders he had shown them. They did not remember his power.” What about you? When situations come today that force you to take pause, will you fear or have faith? Will you remember all that He has done or will you worry in unbelief? Today remember that the God of all power and provision is the same yesterday, today and will be tomorrow.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank You that You are the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. I thank You that Your power continues today as it has in the past. I know that You are able to provide, protect and keep me from falling so I give my life to You. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION
I will remember God’s power
Mediate on God’s power. Think of creation. Picture God brining the world into being. Think of Moses at the Red Sea. See yourself there with him, see the water part and feel the hard dry ground as you cross to the other side. See Jesus after He has risen. Picture yourself in the crowd as He rises up to Heaven. Think of a miracle that you know has happened in your life time. Remember an answer to prayer. As you think of these things, sense their reality. Let the weight of God’s power sink deep into your consciousness. As you mediate say, “I will remember God’s power.
Religion / God's Presence In Your Life by NickNoble: 6:31am On Nov 12, 2022
TODAY’S VERSE
“You hide them in the shelter of your presence.” Psalms 31:20 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
It is hard to fathom how magnificent God really is. He is so great that when Elijah was at a mountain speaking to God, all God had to do was pass by and there was a great wind, earthquake and fire. Moses knew God perhaps more than any living man so when he was ready to take the people into the wilderness, He begged God to be present with them. As an assurance Moses asked God to show him His presence. God replied, “I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will call out my name, Yahweh, before you.- But you may not look directly at my face, for no one may see me and live.” As well, David, a man whom the Bible says “was a man after God’s own heart,” comes to God in the midst of all his trouble and says, “How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. You hide them in the shelter of your presence.” God’s presence . . . how mighty, how breathtaking, how personal and how available. Come to God today. Join Elijah, Moses and David and enjoy the shelter of God’s presence.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Oh Father, how I thank You for the death of Your son so I can come boldly into Your presence and find all the love, peace and joy I will ever need. Let me sense Your presence in my life today. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION
I find shelter in God’s presence
God is as close to you as your own breath. His presence is real and weighty. Quiet your heart and whisper, “Lord, let me sense Your presence.” Sit quietly with your hands in a receiving position. Whisper again, “Let me sense Your presence.” Breathe deep and just let the presence of God fill you. Wait on Him, enjoy Him as you picture His presence with you. After a few moments, finish by saying, “Thank You, God, for sheltering me in Your presence.”

TODAY’S VERSE
“But in my distress I cried out to the LORD; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears. Psalms 18:6 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
I love hope. I need hope. Everyday is new and so are the challenges. And there are a lot of things we can do to help ourself get through the morass of issues and concerns that face us. There are a lot of different techniques and systems that will help us. New ways of thinking, new tools. But one thing surpasses every coping mechanism, every strategy, every method of problem solving. It is our relationship with God. David knew this. He was a doer. He knew how to solve problems, yet when he was in severe crises, there was one place he went to over and over again. He went to God. He went to the arms of his good shepherd. And God heard him. He writes, “Yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears.” His cries reached the ears of Heaven. So will yours. Today, don’t stop whatever is helping you but add to it the one thing that can make all the difference. In all your striving add hope. Cry out to the Lord, you will reach His ears.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, I come to You. I come and present all my needs, all my concerns. I cannot make it without You. I cry out and I know You hear me. Comfort me even today, Lord. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION
God hears my prayers
Close your eyes and picture yourself before God, hands stretched out, humbly sharing your needs and concerns. Picture God looking at you with joy and understanding. Sense His concern and love for you. Breathe deep and as you exhale say, “Thank you, God, for hearing me.”

“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. Rescue me from my enemies, O LORD, for I hide myself in you. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.” Psalms 143:8, 10 (NIV)

TODAY’S MESSAGE
Do you start your day hearing a word from God about His unfailing love? Do you start your day trusting in Him? Do you ask Him for direction, protection and instruction for the tasks that are ahead of you this day? If not, what is stopping you now? No matter what your yesterdays were, no matter what you fear for tomorrow, there is nothing stopping you from committing this day to God. You can begin a new habit of thanksgiving and expectation today.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, in the quietness of this moment, let me hear You confirm Your unfailing love for me. Right now, I put my complete trust in You. Please, dear God, show me the way I should go, for I lift up my soul to You. Rescue me from any trouble today, O LORD, for I hide myself in You. Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; may Your Holy Spirit lead me today. In Jesus’ name.

Today’s passage is a great visualization. Read it again and see everything it says happening to you. “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Religion / God's Mercy And Love For You by NickNoble: 6:58am On Nov 07, 2022
TODAY’S VERSE
“I cry out to the LORD; I plead for the LORD’s mercy. I pour out my complaints before him and tell him all my troubles. When I am overwhelmed, you alone know the way I should turn.” Psalms 142:1-3 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Have you ever felt overwhelmed? I talk to people everyday that feel that way. Divorce, hunger, disease, addictions, homelessness, debt, trauma, everyday people come to our church for help. And it should be that way. The church is God’s representative on earth. We should be telling everyone that God deeply cares about their personal affairs. David knew this. He was overwhelmed with life and all the challenges it had for him, yet he knew he could turn to the Lord. He cried out to God and plead for mercy. And God listened. Jeremiah attests to this. In Lamentations 3:22-24 Jeremiah writes, “The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” What an overwhelming truth. God’s faithful love NEVER ends and His mercies NEVER cease. I can’t even begin to get my brain around that. And the beauty is, every morning I wake up, God is there, with all His love and mercy waiting for me all over again! Today, when you need to, cry out to God. Pour out your complaints to Him. Tell Him all about your troubles. He has a brand new day’s worth of mercy and love waiting for you.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, I am so glad I can come before You and share all my burdens. I am so grateful for Your mercy and faithfulness. Thank You that they never cease but are new every morning. Praise You Lord.
AMEN

TODAY’S MEDITATION & VISUALIZATION
God’s mercy for me is new every morning
Visualize today’s verse. See yourself coming before Christ and pleading for His help. Sense His empathy toward you as you share your problems with Him. Imagine pouring out your complaints before Him at the same time sensing His deep compassion toward you. God’s mercy is real and you know it deep in your heart. Feel the praise build inside you and affirm, “God’s mercy for me is new every morning!”
Religion / Waiting On God by NickNoble: 6:53am On Nov 06, 2022
TODAY’S VERSE
“So the LORD must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the LORD is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for his help.” Isaiah 30:15—18 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
The Lord longs to be gracious to us. We see it in today’s passage. By His own choice, God created us, knowing that we would be obstinate, fickle and slow in responding to His love. He knew and yet He put himself in a place of waiting for us to come to Him so He can show us His great love and compassion. Why does He do this? Why does He wait for us to respond to Him? Because He is faithful to us. His love is not like ours. His love is eternal, unfathomable, unconditional and unfailing. So He waits. And what is so ironic, is that He waits for us to wait on Him. When we have tried everything else. when we have panicked, obsessed, returned from running away, quit our procrastination or stopped trying to do everything by ourself, He bids us to come to Him and wait for Him to love and help us. And when we wait on Him, He will bless us and meet our deepest needs. Today, quit hurrying and scurrying and come to Him. He is waiting for us to wait on Him.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear God, I admit that I worry and run around trying to fix things by myself. Forgive me for not trusting You. Today I come and pour my worries at Your feet. Guide me, help me, bless me I pray as I wait on You for all my needs.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION
I will wait for Gods help
Close your eyes and imagine yourself in a quiet, serene, safe place. Picture such a place in your mind and imagine yourself in the scene, sitting in peace and quiet. When relaxed, invite God to come and be with you in this quiet peaceful place. As you sense His presence tell Him how much you love Him. Thank Him for His love and tell Him of your needs. Then share with God that you will trust Him and wait on Him. Say, “Lord, today, I will wait for Your help.”

I know that I don't need to pray for things to happen. I'm not asking for anything more than what God has already given me. But sometimes it helps to say something out loud, and if there's nothing else in particular on my mind, I find it's easier to focus on the prayer when I have a specific thing to ask for. Go to Marietta Basement Waterproofing for best services. I've always found it helpful to pray for others, too. It gives me some sense of connection with other people, and it makes me feel better about myself when I can offer them help or encouragement.

Dear brethren in the Lord,
I'm very pleased to share this glorious testimony with you all because it is a thing of joy to always know that "with God all things are possible".

I met a couple sometime last year (2021) and they have been married for 6 years without a child. At that point their marriage was already on the verge of collapsing but by the special grace of God I was able to counsel them and feed them with the promises of hope that our father in heaven has given us to hold on to.

All glory to God Almighty, their prayers have been answered and they have just welcomed a bouncing baby girl.

My brothers and sisters, I am sharing this testimony today so that wherever you are and whatever situation you are going through, you need to understand and believe that God is capable of changing your story to a glorious testimony. No matter the heavy burden in your heart, the health situation, the family challenges or whatever it is, Almighty God is willing to change your situation if you BELIEVE.

ALL GLORY TO GOD ALMIGHTY FOR EVER AND EVER, AMEN!!!

Religion / Be An Encouragement To Others by NickNoble: 7:18am On Nov 02, 2022
TODAY’S VERSE
“Jonathan went to find David and encouraged him to stay strong in his faith in God.” I Samuel 23:16 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Who do you encourage? What a friend Jonathon was. The scriptures record that David and Jonathan were like brothers and how time and time again Jonathan proved it. Jonathon helped David escape from his father, King Saul, at the risk of his own death. And now again, while David is being hunted by King Saul, Jonathan takes another risk and goes and finds David. Why? To encourage him. Both David and Jonathan knew that David was God’s anointed and instead of complaining, lived by faith, waiting for God’s plan to come into fruition. And with that waiting came Jonathan’s love and support, encouraging David to stay strong in his faith in God. David, instead of living in a palace, was content to live in caves, hiding until God’s timing was right. What David was in faith and trust in God, Jonathan was in love and encouragement. It took both to make David’s journey possible. Today there is someone you know barely hanging on. Someone living in their own emotional cave, running from the struggles of life. They need your encouragement and friendship. Might God help you be a friend like Jonathan.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, help me be an encourager. Help me be there for those that need my help. Help me help others the way You have helped me.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION
I encourage others the way God encourages me
Think of a time when you were encouraged by your circumstances. Remember what it felt like to be in need. Feel the desperation and discouragement. But God showed up. You could sense the fingers of God in control of your circumstances and hope and joy began to flood your soul. Breathe and let your body remember the sensation of being encouraged. Now picture someone else in need. Feel God calling you to help. See yourself going to them and helping them return to peace and joy. Take what you felt when encouraged and sense them feeling the same. Feel the satisfaction knowing you helped someone else. Say out loud, “I encourage others the way God encourages me.”

TODAY’S VERSE
God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5 (NIV)

TODAY’S MESSAGE
Loneliness; abandonment; alienation; separation; betrayal; desertion. These are words that cut right to the heart. Because of our human relationships, all of us, to one degree or another, have experienced these painful emotions. The great news is that when you become His child, when you are born again, you enter into a permanent relationship with almighty God. He becomes your loving Father who loves you (yes, you!) so much that He has made a tremendous promise. God has written, for all to read, that He will never, never, never, never, never, never leave you or forsake you. Never! Why? Because when He chose to love you unconditionally, it is settled, end of discussion, no changing His mind, ever. You are His child forever.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father, is it really true? I want to believe it with my mind and with my heart! Help me really see how much You love me. Thank You that You promise You will never leave me or forsake me. Because of Jesus.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION

Religion / A Prayer For Strength From God. by NickNoble: 7:52am On Oct 31, 2022
Almighty God, the creator of the heavens, the earth and everything within, you are Holy above all others, and all of the strength that I need is in your hands.

I am not asking, Lord, that you take this trial away. Instead, I simply ask that Your will be done in my life. Whatever that means, that is what I want.

But I admit that it’s hard, Lord.

Sometimes I feel like I can’t go on. The pain and the fear are too much for me, and I know that I don’t have the strength on my own to get through this.

I know that I can come to you, Jesus, and that you will hear my prayer. I know that it is not your intent to bring me to this point just to leave me in the wilderness alone.

Please, Lord, give me the strength that I need to face today. I don’t have to worry about tomorrow.

If you just give me the strength that I need today that is all I need.

Keep me from sinning during this trial. Instead, help me to keep my eyes on you. You are the Holy Lord, and all of my hope rests in you.

Thank you for hearing my prayer.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Religion / How God Can Grant Your Heart Desires by NickNoble: 7:26am On Oct 30, 2022
TODAY’S VERSE
“May he grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed.” Psalms 20:4 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
At first glance this verse sounds like it came straight from a Chinese Fortune Cookie factory. You read it and think, “Did I see this on a success motivation poster?” But then, if you take the time to remember that this is God’s word, you start to meditate on this phrase and find that it is full of deep meaning.

First I stop to think about the responsibility this verse puts on me as a person who dreams and has desires. When is the last time I desired a God-sized desire? What have I desired that would be worthy of God’s consideration, let alone His blessing? What do I want to see happen that would possibly be aligned with the will of God?

More than desire, what have I spent time on and planned for the Kingdom of God? What success am I asking for that would be worthy of God’s favor? Finally, who will get the glory if our desires came true and our plans succeeded? God put you and I here to live for Him. He wants us to use our heart to desire great and mighty things for Him. We are His ambassadors and He chooses to live His will through our lives. Let us plan and desire with all our heart great and mighty things for His Glory.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, birth in my heart a desire to do Your will with my life. Give me a dream. Give me a passion. And then Father, help these desires, passions and dreams turn into a plan. Might the plan become a reality, through Your mighty power and for Your Glory and honor. In Jesus Name.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION
God helps me with my desires
Quiet your heart before God. Ask Him, “Lord, what do you want me to do with my life? What should I desire? Sit quiet before God and let Him speak to you.

Meditate on living for Him. Let Him birth passion and desire in your heart. Say, “Lord, I want to do your will, give me a dream. Birth a desire and purpose in me.” Spend a few moments before Him and purpose to do this over and over as God build a dream into your heart.

Religion / Be Strong In The Lord by NickNoble: 6:03am On Oct 23, 2022
TODAY’S VERSE
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” Ephesians 6:10 (NIV)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
We need strength. Suffering with chronic pain. Struggling to pay the bills. Arguing with your teenage daughter. Feeling discouraged about your job. Rocking from a ruined relationship. All of us have a story. None of us goes unscathed. But we do not have to bear our sorrows alone and afraid. We don’t have to be helpless victims. Instead Paul ends Ephesians with this word, “Finally, be strong.” Be strong. The presence of a resilient attitude, a hopeful spirit, a resolve to never give up, to fight, to hang on. But how? How can we get the strength we need? Listen to how Paul finishes his verse. “Be strong in the LORD and in His mighty strength.” What a difference a few words can make. We can be strong in His strength. It is mighty strength. It is loving strength. It is your strength. Like a child is carried in the strength of his father’s arms, so let God carry your burden today. Today be strong, but not in yourself. Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power!

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, you told me to be strong. You know I need to. But I confess Lord, I have tried to be strong in my own power not yours. I need your power. I need you. Please take my burdens. Help me today to be strong in You and Your mighty power.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION
I am strong in the Lord and His mighty power
Today visualize the possibilities. Think of a time when you sensed the power of God. Let your imagination fill it’s impact. Now think of an area where you are weak. Bring the image of God and His power into that scene. See God desiring to help you. Feel His love and picture Him helping you. Sense yourself full of God’s strength and power. Say out loud, “I am strong in the Lord and His mighty power.”
Religion / Serve God Wholeheartedly by NickNoble: 6:40am On Oct 12, 2022
TODAY’S VERSE
“Acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts.” I Chronicles 28:9 (NIV)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
It is easy to say that we are a Christian. There isn’t much of a demand being placed on that confession. As far as the world knows, saying that you are a Christian doesn’t mean much. Statistically the lives of Christians doesn’t differ that much from their secular counterpart. But that is not the way God intended it to be. He doesn’t want lip service, He wants our lives. We have been called to follow Christ in the way we think, feel and behave. David knew the seriousness of following God. When he commissioned his son, Solomon, to build the Temple, he challenged Solomon to live Godly. He told him to acknowledge God as the Lord of everything and serve Him with both wholehearted devotion and a willing mind. God doesn’t want pretense, He wants sincerity and authenticity. That is why He searches our heart and motives. Today, dedicate your life for His service. Decide to serve Him wholeheartedly.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, thank You for the opportunity to serve You. Help me to be true to You and to serve You with wholehearted devotion and a willing mind. In Jesus’ Name.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION
I willingly serve God with all my heart
Picture yourself happily serving God. Sense His affection toward you. Feel your joy as you willingly do His will. Take a deep breath and let your dedication to God fill your being and as you exhale affirm, “I willingly serve God with all my heart.”
Family / Knowing Your Purpose In Life by NickNoble: 6:43am On Oct 11, 2022
TODAY’S VERSE
“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)

TODAY’S MESSAGE
Some people search a lifetime for a purpose. Why am I here? Where can I find meaning? We look for this bigger than life significance and we can’t find it. We search for something that will fill this hollow feeling inside. There is a craving in our soul that we can’t satisfy, a thirst that we cannot quench. It’s like the song says, “we are looking for love in all the wrong places.” All the while the Bible gives a very fundamental answer to the secret of life satisfaction. Paul sums up our purpose in one simple verse. You and I will never be happy, never feel fulfilled until we figure out what Paul is saying. He says that you and I are the workmanship of God. A specific, personally made, creation by almighty God Himself. More than that, we were created for this one simple thing, to do good works! That’s it. Our meaning, purpose, life satisfaction comes from living for God, from loving in His name, from doing good because He created us specifically to do good. What joy, what purpose, what meaning to know that we are hand picked agents of God’s good in this world. Do you believe this? Are you living this? If not, you can start today!

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear God, help me to fully understand what it means to be Your workmanship, created for good works. Help me to comprehend that You really know me, love me deeply and have specifically called me to be Your representative in this world. Thank You for such a glorious calling. In Jesus’ name.
AMEN

TODAY’S MEDITATION & VISUALIZATION
God has created me for good works
Picture yourself looking for purpose. You are striving trying to figure out why you are on this earth. You can feel the frustration, the emptiness, the insignificance creeping into your mind and soul. But then, Jesus reminds you that you were created to serve God just like He did. You feel the love of God nudge you. You soul awakens and takes a deep breath. You are full of joy at the realization that specifically created by God to do good works. You are at peace and full of purpose.
Family / Surrender To God by NickNoble: 7:27am On Oct 08, 2022
TODAY’S VERSE
“Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires. Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God.” Romans 6:12-13 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Sometimes we emphasize the wrong thing. We try to stop the darkness instead of turning on the light. We punish negative behavior and never reward what is done right. We save our money so tightly that we don’t spend money on great opportunities that come our way. It seems that Paul was going to do the same thing. He writes, “Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires. Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin.” Now how hard is that? How joyful will that experience be? Don’t get me wrong, Paul is completely right! We must watch sin in our life. We dare not get loose with our life and live out sinful whims. But there is a better way. Paul finishes his thoughts by saying, “Instead, give yourselves completely to God.” How much better is that? There is real wisdom here, a real balance. If we give our self completely to God, will He not help us with the sin issue? Won’t the Holy Spirit guide us and direct us toward a righteous life? It is like the old saying, “Love God and do as you please.” If we truly love God we will only do what honors Him. So today, let’s combat sin in our life in a different way. Let’s resist sin by giving our self and everything we do and think today, completely to God.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, I come to You today and completely surrender to Your control. Guide me, direct me, help me live the way You want me to. I give myself completely to You.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION
I give myself completely to God
Quiet yourself for a moment and consider how much do you really surrender yourself to God? Visualize God coming to you and saying, “Give your life completely to me.” What is your first feeling? Is it apprehension? Is it fear? Is it anger or mistrust? Be honest. God already knows. Tell Him about it. Tell Him how you feel and ask for His help. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you in such a way that you better understand Him and yourself. Spend a quiet moment with Him and when you are ready, by faith affirm, “I give myself completely to God.”
Family / Why You Should Work In The Light Of God by NickNoble: 7:42am On Oct 06, 2022
TODAY’S VERSE
“Jesus replied, ‘My light will shine for you just a little longer. Walk in the light while you can, so the darkness will not overtake you. Those who walk in the darkness cannot see where they are going. Put your trust in the light while there is still time; then you will become children of the light.’” – “I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the dark.” John 12:35-36, (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Hiking in the darkness is vastly different than hiking in the daytime. Once on a primitive hiking trip I had to walk an injured person out of the woods to a hospital to get stitched up. It took most of the day. In order to catch up with the rest of the group we hiked back on the trail during the night. Unfortunately, with so much use, my flashlight became very dim. What a hike! Roots, holes in the trail, cliffs, animals, ravines, what would be difficult to navigate in daylight became unbearable in the dark. Slowly, using what light we had, we eventually made it back to base camp. How? By focusing on the light! You see, in that ten square feet ahead of me I could see where I was going. It didn’t matter that thousands of acres was in darkness, I only needed to see the ten feet in front of me. Even though our flashlight was dim, no matter how hard it tried, the darkness could not penetrate the light I had. In today’s passage Jesus told us to, “Walk in the light while you can, so the darkness will not overtake you.” The darkness of sin, doubt, despair and confusion are always trying to trip us up so we have a choice to make. We can focus on the darkness or we can turn the light on! The majority of difficulty and darkness we will encounter in life will be a truth encounter. We will have a choice to make. Focus on all the lies and doubts that will attack us or to focus on the truth of God’s word. Jesus said, “I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the dark.” Paul says it this way in his letter to the Ephesians, “For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!” Might we decide to “turn the light” on of faith, His word and prayer, living in the joy of knowing Jesus.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father. Can it be true? Can I really experience your love today? Can I begin to know how deep, high, long and wide it really is? Pour into my heart a sense of Your presence. Help me imagine who You really are. Forgive me for making You so small. Enlarge my vision today, I pray.
AMEN

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION & MEDITATION
I walk in the light
Visualize the difficulties you have been having. Feel the weight of your burdens. Sense a darkness around you. But then you see Jesus coming into your darkness. He is bringing you a light. As you shine the light you can see where you are going. The fellowship with Jesus your light gets brighter. Your dark is vanishing, your burden is diminished. You affirm, “With Christ, I walk in the light!”
Family / Why You Should Always Rejoice And Trust God by NickNoble: 7:53am On Oct 05, 2022
TODAY’S VERSE
“Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.” Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NIV)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
What qualifications do you put on happiness? So many times it seems as if we put conditions on whether or not we are going to rejoice. We must be liked. We must be successful. We have to have the right kind of car, house, clothes or social status before we can really find happiness. But what happens if those things that we feel are so important to “who we are” are taken away from us? What if we lose our job or a friendship tanks or we face bankruptcy? What if we are falsely accused of something or our friends turn on us? Then what happens to our peace, joy or happiness? Somehow Habakkuk found the secret. It was in his relationship with God. He was able to rejoice in Him no matter what. He had committed himself to God and when troubles began to brew, he was able to trade his commitment in for trust. Finally, when times were at its worst, his trust allowed him to return to joy from painful situations. This joy came from a deep trusting relationship with God. Listen to what he said, “Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.” This didn’t happen by accident. Habakkuk had a relationship with God that he could return to over and over again. Today begin with trust. Trust Him with everything you have and everything you need. Trust Him with today, tomorrow and the future. Then, when you need it, just like Habakkuk, your trust will help you return to joy.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, help me to trust You in all things. Help me to put my hope in You. Help me to rejoice in You no matter what happens. I pray this in Jesus name.
AMEN

Family / Doing Gods Will by NickNoble: 6:59am On Oct 04, 2022
TODAY’S VERSE
“Now may the God of peace—may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May He produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.” Hebrews 13:20-21 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Isn’t it exciting to know that God is more interested in you doing good than you are? In fact, He is so invested in your success that He has equipped you with everything you need to do what He wants you to do. In fact, the author of Hebrews says that God is going to produce in you, every good thing that is pleasing to Him, through the power of Jesus Christ! No wonder the author could finish this passage by saying, “All glory to Him forever and ever! Amen.” Today you can bring glory to God by living the way He has called you to. Ask Him to help you do His will. Ask Him to provide all the power you will need to do every good thing that pleases Him today.

TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, thank You for equipping me with everything I need to do Your will. Thank You for Your power that You make available to me so I can do every good thing that is pleasing to You. Give me the strength to live for You this day. Give me the wisdom to know what to do, the courage to follow through and the faith to trust You with the outcome.
AMEN

For now, it the education he's worried about and that is what we should focus on. Leave the fear of the unknown out of it.

He is not worried only about the education, you can see he is actually worried about the marriage because he has some fear about getting married to a girl that don't have enough education. However he failed to capitalize on the fact that she has a handwork which can be well utilized.

What will make it end in disaster? Because she didn't complete her secondary education? Very lame.

For your info, its the highly educated ones that can't keep their marriages these days cos they are either forming too woke to submit to a man or have become too wild to be satisfied by one man. So you using her educational background as a yardstick for a bad and non-lasting marriage is warped and very wrong.

They will make a perfect home.

It actually seems like you didn't read my comment or you certainly didn't understand

I never said it will end in disaster because of education. Can't you see the op has not even entered the marriage he is already complaining of just one thing he discovered. How many more things do you think he is yet to discover about the girl when he didn't take his time to study and understand very well the person he intends to marry.
