TastyTuoyo:You don't need a professor to teach you that typing "is" instead of "he" was a typographical error. However, the error is regretted. Meanwhile, check your own English and correct yourself accordingly. |
donbrowser:You should know that was a typographical error. The error is however regretted. |
My boss's driver cannot make a correct sentence; he cannot operate a computer or any Information Communication technology gadget successfully, yet he is in final year at NOUN, where he studies Information Communication/Systems Technology and calls himself an Engineer. It's really pathetic. |
timidapsin:So, who will tell whether you are lying or not now? |
In other words, do mean cars run faster in D2 than in the ordinary D? And at what point should it be relevant to On Overdrive or Off Overdrive? |
Infact, she is a cute girl whom I have really had interest to date for long. For more than a year, I was on her neck, but she was not forthcoming until thru a late night chat that she accepted my overture, although on the condition that there will be no sex(i laughed at this sha),which I agreed to. Now, since that epic night, I don't seem to have the feelings for her anymore. Infact to even message her or call her is not appealing to me anymore. She has not called or message me since then too. Am feeling guilty.. Pls need someone to psyche me up, to enable me do the needful ![]() |

Arsenal wizkid appears to ensure that the year is remembered for him and not his Man City compatriot. After waiting years for a sensational Nigerian starlet to break onto the scene, two have come along at once. Following his superb intervention against Everton, it looks as though Alex Iwobi could be set to steal the limelight from Kelechi Iheanacho as Nigeria 's breakout star of the season. It's been an incredible week for Iwobi, who has been on the fringes of the Arsenal for much of the campaign, but has truly made his mark in the last week. He was handed an unexpected start against Barcelona in the Champions League—profiting from Arsene Wenger's disappearing faith in Theo Walcott—and dazzled for the best part of an hour before being withdrawn as fatigue took its toll. The Gunners were praised post-match for being one of the most impressive sides to tackle Barca at the Camp Nou this season, and Iwobi, with his sharp movement, boldness in the dribble and technique, was a big part of this. Arsenal, perhaps buoyed by their midweek showing, albeit in defeat - in the Champions League, were a side transformed against Everton on Saturday. Gone was the meekness and timidity of the FA Cup quarter-final defeat by Watford, and Wenger's chosen XI were bold and menacing, with each of his superstars demonstrating the kind of invention and creativity that prompted Wenger to bring him to the club in the first place. Iwobi shone amongst his talented peers, and once again the superb composure he demonstrated against Barca was evident as the Toffees were outclassed. Iwobi vs. Everton The 19-year-old added the Gunners' second in the 42nd minute when he met Hector Bellerin's fine cut. At that point, it was hard to believe that Jay- Jay Okocha's nephew had—before that moment —played just 40 minutes over five brief cameos in the Premier League. The mantle is now handed over to Kelechi Iheanacho, who will surely have some part to play in the Manchester Derby on Sunday as City host rivals United in a battle for the top four in EPL. The Sky Blues wonderkid—19, like Iwobi—is a household name in the EPL compared to his compatriot, having already played for 414 minutes in the division this term. It's been an incredible year for Iheanacho, who has evolved from being an eye-catching sideshow during City's pre-season to making 20 appearances in the Premier League, scoring three goals and contributing one assist. Perhaps it's been a disappointing campaign for the Citizens—even if they've broken new ground in the Champions League—but Iheanacho has been a ray of light. He's also made his Super Eagles debut, and looks set to lead the line for the national side for over a decade to come. However, the forward—who has four in three in the FA Cup, and also broke his duck on his Champions League debut—hasn't done too much that's been quite as eye-catching as Iwobi's contribution against Everton on Saturday! On a broader note, and seeking to move away from the near endless need for comparisons and counter-comparisons that flood the football fan's psyche, just how excited should Nigeria fans be about a future with these two starlets at the helm? The prospect of both Iwobi and Iheanacho featuring together for the Super Eagles—and both are already capped—is a mesmerising one that should have every fan of the national side looking ahead to a thrilling future. While neither has yet to truly demonstrate that he can be an elite leading man—Iwobi's finest moments have come on the flanks, while Iheanacho's intelligence may see him best employed just off a leading man such as Odion Ighalo—the pair have, individually, the capacity to transform Nigeria's attack. Together, they could be devastating. What could Nigeria have done with Iwobi on the left against France in the 2014 World Cup, by which point, Stephen Keshi had attempted to use a number of players to fill the role? The prospect of some combination of Iwobi, Iheanacho, Ighalo, as well as Victor Moses and Ahmed Musa leading the line for the Super Eagles is delicious, and that's without beginning to discuss the various forwards who find themselves in and around the squad today or the vast reservoirs of youth talent just waiting to make their mark on the senior side. |
I think Coach Siasia will do himself and Nigerians a whole lot of good if he settles for the pair of young stars- Iheneacho and Iwobi upfront as the two strikers that will break the backbones of the Egyptians. Both players are not only fast on the ball with youthful energy, they are technically sound. Moreover, with thier EPL experience and pattern of play, both players can complement each other and further, with supplies from Mikel led centre, I see Nigeria winning the first leg 2:0 or 3:1 and the return leg a win or at worst, a draw. Pls click like if you agree with this position. |

Am invading the office of Abuja Electricity Distribution Company tomorrow to demand why they would go to our compound and disconnect our light. Is this not cruel and sheer wickedness that after we have paid 10, 650 Naira out of the 15, 600 they estimatedly billed us, they went to the compound of One bedroom flat and two single rooms, when everybody has gone to work, to disconnect the light? This is despite the fact that the paid bill is pasted on the wall there and their attention was called to it, but they stubbornly and arrogantly told the wife of a neighbour who pleaded with them, that we should make the full made the full payment. Infact, am going there tomorrow to ask them to show me when it has become the law that a consumer's light stands disconnected if one does not make full payment of their outrageous estimated billing. Am prepared to take on them over this their wicked act. I wish the laws are set aside for me to go there and engage them in a fight! ![]() |

Pls, is it mandatory to always give my mother in law money anytime she visits? Often times she comes visiting, though some of the visits are for a day or 2 days just to say hi to us on her way to the market where she buys goods to her base in Edo to sell. Every time she comes, she brings garri and some stuffs for us, so, when she is leaving, I make sure I drop some money for her transport and in fairness to her, during some visits she only collect after a lot of pestering, as she would want to reject the money because according to her "it's not every time I should be giving her money and that she has enough for transport". This time around, she is coming and I am very "rich" now, as my building project has made my bank accounts red and we are just in the middle of the month which rules an expectation for salary. Right now, she is on her way to buy goods, but dropping by our house to greet her daughter and family, my conscience does not allow me to let her go "just like that' without giving her at least something for transport. Am considering the option of borrowing from someone or even from my wife to give to her, just to satisfy my conscience. N.B. Objective comments and constructive advice only. |
