Good morning mamas, I had a miscarriage two days ago at 11 weeks+

Nobody ever says miscarriage pain is so painful, and then the evacuation, the worst pain I've ever had in my life.

Please I have some questions to ask:

1. Why can't doctors have a reason for a miscarriage?
2. How soon is healthy to start trying for another baby? (even though DH says we should hold on for a year to recover from the trauma of the miscarriage, but I can't wait that long)
3. What is the likelihood of another miscarriage after a miscarriage? (Cos I'm so scared, as it's not a good experience)

Sumtyms this miscarriages happen as a result of hormonal imbalance, chromosomal abnormalities, infection etc...if the baby isn’t forming well, the body has a way of getting rid of it also... early last year I had a miscarriage at 7wks, it was called a missed abortion or missed miscarriage, the baby heartbeat just stopped, I actually found out a week after just because I went for an ultrasound and they didn’t find a heartbeat, after 2 weeks I started spotting and my body was trying to get rid of it, so my gynae asked that I take misoprostol (swallowed and inserted deep into the vagina)to get rid of it.

I have to also mention though that I had pcos so I guess my hormonal imbalance also affected the pregnancy in terms of growth of the baby. So when I took in again in April, b4 then I did a Hormonal test because I was seeing a fertility doc who asked me for some test result, my progesterone was low, so she started me on progesterone drug (duphaston) which I kept take it even after I found out I was pregnant. Progesterone is very important in early pregnancy because it supports the growth of the foetus until the placenta is mature enough to take on the responsibility of producing pregnancy hormones.
Sorry for the long story oo, just wanted u to understand a few things. Don’t worry God will bless u with another baby in no time.

Yes I heard so, this week the contractions has become more intense but still not regular. I have scheduled a membrane swipe for Monday, am sure baby will be out anytime between Sunday and Tuesday, God willing. Thank you, I appreciate.

Oh okay, that explains true one week difference. All these app sef. Every pregnancy is different = veteran no dey this business lol.

I normally have MS but my glow na die. Even this time I'm glowing but I refuse to read meaning into it lol. Sincerely though I don't care if it's boy or girl. I sincerely can't imagine the stress of plaiting girl's hair, etc. I really don't mind another boy as per less stress we just raise our 3 soldiers dey go but na girl dey take care of parents so girl will still be good. That's why I'm not checking.

And me I want boy, but I don dey get feeling say this baby na girl....is it true that boys child makes one glow...because am really glowing but my Sweet SIL is pregnant with a boy and her body is a mess...lol i dnt know if its because its her ist...

Good morning teamie, I don’t personally have experience on cerclage but from others experiences I’d say cerclage is the way to go. Do consider it.

Am considering it seriously but I don't want to jump the gun though....will take a lot of bedrest and do my 2 weeks TVS scan like doctor asked me too....and den will decide....i dnt want to go back to loose any more babies. ...i cry better cry b4 this one came along...

Goodmorning belleful mamas, after i ate rice and egg sauce, i decided 2 take tea and bread last night immediately my stomach changed and since then i have bn going 2 d toilet frequently, i don't know what 2 do coz am feeling weak, am 21weeks+6 days

If stooling persist for like 4 to 5 times a day go and see ur doctor please and try and stay hydrated...very important

I thought u put cerclage during ur first baby? I have not had experience from cervical incompetency but to be on a safer side according to what I have read here I will advice u put d cerclage , be on strict bed rest, follow ur doctor's instructions, pray and hope for d best. Happy bumping

No i didn't, after a week bedrest the cervix closed back to normal so I didnt have to and it didn't even open again...i had to use that oxytocin to even help with dilation when I wanted to give birth... am giving it serious thoughts now its just making me worried

Goodevening mamas, trust everyone is doing fine...i want to know if anyone at all has this cervical incompetence issue...if yes please what did u do about it ....did u put a cerclage or are u on bedrest or progesterone....i did a scan today (14wks and 4days)and my cervix is measuring 2.7cm. Doc said is short for 14wks....i am meant to measure atleast 3.5 to 4.5cm until I certain time when the cervix naturally starts to thin out to prwpare for labour....am on duphaston and vasoprin. And am given 4 weeks to decide on putting a cerclage or not. Honest advice needed...especially from sum1 with an experience on this cervix matter....

Sorry teamie about the hemorrhoids. I read its pregnancy induced and will resolve on its own after pregnancy. I hear anusol works well for it...maybe the drug just hasn't started working yet

So sorry about that, how I get rid of mine is try switching ur meals to sumfin soft, pap, tea, take lots of fruits....(when I wasnt pregnant and I have constipation I use parafin oil or coconut oil to stimulate bowel movement, I dnt know if paraffin oil is safe in pregnancy) I also drink lots of water by 5am in d morning...set an alarm, drink 1 full bottle of water...not cold ....to stimulate bowel movement, lastly anusol also helps .... sorry u will be fine

My baby too.... I press her hot water every night all over oo both face and body.... Hot water she can bear o... Not very hot water... Den I use ori and baby robb all over her body.... Every night... I bought antibiotics and cattarh medicine b4 but Sammy hates medicine she vomits it at once... It was just a waste of money and tym so I resorted to the hot water and balm massaging... It helps her sleep and breathe well... Still be giving her vitamin c sha

Good afternoon mothers, pls I need advice from experienced people. Here goes my story.
Am a mother of two( first is almost 3years, second is almost 7months). I don't have a job, been seriously looking for one that is family friendly but haven't gotten, my dh has someone that can help me with a banking job but we are both afraid of how to cope with it and the kids but the present economic situation is not smiling now. I don't have any help I, my dh and 2children stay alone but my parents reside in the same state with us ( Ilorin to be precise). My question now is those that have worked in a bank or working in a bank without any help, pls how do you cope? I don't have any experience with banking job but I do hear its very stressful for family women but if I have reasons to back it up I will rethink.
Let me add that my dh's job too is demanding and closes 6:30pm almost everyday. So pls should I go for this job or keep waiting for better one if yes pls I need advice on how to manage my home with it. Pls I need a reply based on experience.

Mamas good morning. My baby has been throwing up since every fees yesterday evening because someone fed her ice cream yesterday. Ice-fucking-cream! Who Does that? Who feeds a 5week old baby Ice cream? My 47years old Sister in law that you expect would know better. I'm literally shaking as I'm remembering this. Now my baby is throwing up at every feed. She throws up every thing she is fed and starts crying and then I have to feed her again and she throws up and starts crying. This is how it has been since last night. We would do n go to the hospital, just waiting for hubby to come and pick us up but she has managed to sleep and I'm wondering if anybody has any remedy for me.

Meanwhile, make una help me judge this matter as I'm about to go off tangent and insult somebody not minding she is almost 20years older than me. My husband comes from a large family of 9children and he is the last born and you know how large families are. Although they same mother and father, kwanta dey plenty so I dey try stay on my lane but I'm very close to my husband's immediate elder sister who had her baby 's birthday yesterday so everyone was there. I was in the sitting room with my baby but tge party was downstairs so this my eldest SIL (let's call her A) comes up with their eldest brother's daughter who is 9months and she starts feeding her ice cream. I did not say anything but in my mind I felt it was wrong. About 30mins later, I wanted to go downstairs and take something so I have my bay to my husband's cousin. Less than 10mins ,I was back and I saw my baby smacking her lips with A trying to scoop more ice cream into her mouth. To say i was she'll shocked is an understatement. This is a 5weeks old baby for pete' s sake!! How are you feeding her ice cream? I quickly dashed and carried my baby from her and said (not to her face though but loud enough for her to hear) that she should never try that with my baby. I angrily left for a friend's house close by and did not return to the party until my husbAnd was ready to leave. Now SIL A married quite late and does not have a child. That is where I entered trouble. I was told she went downstairs where the party was and started crying that she carried my baby and I insulted her, that is it because she does not have a child? That I shunned her snd told her never to touch my child. Hubby called to know where I was and he came and I explained to him. He told me not to pick any of his siblings calls and we went home. Everyone started calling hubby telling him to put his wife in check, that how can I insult A who is almost 20yrs older than me? Hubby told them that she fed out baby Ice cream and they said and so what? God knows I did not say any of those things. I only said no one should ever in their life feed my baby if I'm not there. Now MIL and FIL are saying I must go to her house and kneel down and apologise. I have told my husbAnd I'm not going. Now baby is throwing up and feeling lethargic all cos someone that should have known better fed her something she should not eat and I'm being asked to apologise for being protective of my own child. I don't want to apologise but I'm being pressured to on all sides and its driving me nuts!

Plz don't go.... What if Sumfin happened to ur baby.. God forbids.. Will dey be asking u to apologize?
