I did it and it worked perfectly for both WES and IQAS.
I sent the docs to my faculty officer and he sent them in a separate brown envelope but in the same postal envelope to both orgs. Meaning my transcripts were in one envelope, my certs etc were in another envelope but they were sent to the org in the same postal envelope. So you can do yours same way. Remember ur uni has to stamp across the flap.
Thanks so much Iphie25. Much appreciated!
I have read on this thread of someone that did it and it worked. Just ensure the transcript envelope is sealed and stamped by your school.

Another option is to send a scanned copy of your certificate via email to a friend/family in Canada to help you post it. I don't think it will cost more than 10 CAD to post locally as it costs from £1 - £6 to post to Canada from the UK.

The application form and checklist is not necessary. I did not include it in my transcripts and there was no issue. In fact, a friend included it and her transcript was rejected as WES claimed it was not sent directly from school. She had to instruct her school to resend it again and without the checklist before it was accepted. I am not sure if the checklist was the cause though.

Thanks Duppysho. I am using IQAS. It seems they are particular about the application form, checklist and also sending notorised copies of certificates. I guess WES requirement is different.

Hello house. Please has anyone tried sending application form and checklist to your school to include in your transcript package instead of sending another seperate package I.e double cost.
Can one scan the signed application form and checklist to the school to print out and include in your package? Has anyone tried this. Pls let me know your thoughts.

OK boss first have you been invited?? if u can show the pay slips of 4 months that ok, you wont show all pay slip, for the nysc if u get the reference letter its OK may be you do a letter of explanation after. Pay slip are not so mandatory but important, and without dem ur application will look fishy kind the image attach and read carefully ..pay stubs is if u have them,
Thanks, I've not been invited. Just trying to brainstorm who should apply between me and my spouse considering all the factors involved.
Thanks for your response.

Payslips are not compulsory. I submitted my application without any payslips and it was approved. In fact, most people don't submit payslips. Once you get a reference letter from your employer and you don't have any conflicting info, you should be fine.

What do I mean by conflicting info? For instance, if you are on LinkedIn and your profile is saying something else on LinkedIn. Some people have been denied because of this. I am almost certain, there will be some unclear and suspicious info in their application forms that made the VO to start digging more info about their employment backgrounds.
God bless duppysho. I appreciate.

It doesn't matter so far you have a letter saying ur job description, hours worked and how much your being paid its alright to be submitted with out payslip. Cic statement said add payslip IF available. IF is a conditional statement n d payslip is not Available. What of people that hv changed jobs dey worked in 3 years ago n can't find any payslip?

Only ur letter from employer is d most important.
Your NYSC year just get a letter from the office you served with carrying all the CIC letter features, your good to go.

Or you can go an extra mile to scan along the official Business card of the person that signed the letter ( I know someone who did that)
Thanks a lot. I appreciate your response.

CIC asks for Pay stubs if available its clear on the PR from
Wow! Okay thanks for this.

What if I never got payslips? And my staff salary bank statement will be short of 3 months to makeup the one year work experience I'm claiming cuz I was paid in cash before I opened a staff salary account. Also if I want to add my nysc I was paid in cash through out the one year. Any hope for me? Please I need your advice from experience and what you all think please. Thank you.

CIC only asked for reference letter from employers past n present. It depends on you if you want to add payslips and supervisor or employer business card.

Only employment reference letter is what is needed, but if you have d Ida's scan dem along with the letter n upload, if you don't scan ur employement letter
Thanks so much I appreciate.

Jojocanada thanks for all the feedback.

How about human resource managemt jobs?
Any idea of the prospects?

Hello house, congrats to all those who just got ITA.
Please I have a question concerning documents for work experience claim. Are you required to submit payslips or show bank statement showing your salary deposits? I can't see anything like that on the cic website. I see only letter from company on letterheaded paper signed by a supervisor.

Pls kindly share your experience as this will help me a lot. Thank you.

Pls house has anyone here gotten admission for masters in Canada with 2.2 undergrad and a previous masters degree??

I have been mailing most schools and all of them just mention the 2.2 undergrad as a limitation without considering the masters degree.

Pls kindly share your experience or any info concerning this. Thanks all.

From my research it is quite difficult to get any form of scholarship for coarse based masters. Most of the schools only give some funding for research based masters and to qualify your cgpa must be very high and your supervisor will be the type that usually gets lots of government grants to fund his or her research.
You can also email the school to ask them if they have any funding or scholarship for international students in your department.
All the best and please share any useful information you come across.

Wow, people it seems this skilled workers thing is getting tougher by the day. Abeg how on earth are people scoring 620 for crying out loud!

Still torn between going in through school or doing skilled worker application. Even the school visas are being refused left right and centre. May God help us o, see what nija has turned one to!

Hello walexo78 please can you shed more light on this NB info session. How does one get invitation to attend?
Also what is their top criteria for issuing ITA, is it your points or if you have the skills they need in their province? It seems to me like once you attend you have a very good chance of getting ITA. Kindly explain pls. Thank you.
walexlo78:
Follow the process by sending the email. However at the Dubai session lsst month, the thank you email and the permission to attend email were eventually not checked there. People who have no emails and their names not on the list brought by the NBPNP team were allowed to write their names and participated with some getting ITA. Maybe it happened that way because of the crowd. This is just to let you know how it happened there. Goodluck

Thanks a lot Twisted pair, I appreciate your detailed response. Bless you!

Hi Nievel, Seneca College is a very good school, it's located in the busy parts of Toronto, yea, but job opportunities abound here also and it's not as expensive as pple say(all depends on how you budget/spending habits)..getting accommodation close to sch makes sense cos campus acc. can be quite expensive..

And as for the car thingy, depends on your budget as well, if money no be problem, by all means..however, public transport is very accessible, even with your daughter, you won't have much stress getting around if you live close to sch and take the bus

FYI I live in Toronto..came here in 2014 as a student..working now in a good place

It's great to be here. Thanx to everyone for all the wonderful information shared here. I am planning towards attending Seneca college in January. Just started my application process.

Please anyone who has attended Seneca can you kindly share your views about the college in terms of quality and location in Toronto.

Is newnham campus on the outskirts and less busy area of the city?

How much is off campus accommodation around the area?

My family is discouraging me about picking a school in Toronto because it's busy and expensive like Lagos. I will be coming with my 2 year old daughter, will it be convenient to move around with public transport with her or I need to get a car?

Kindly help with your advice and also anything else that might help that i havent mentioned. Thank you .
