Go ahead with your upfront medical before travelling. Why wait for medical request.

VO concerns are clearly stated.

You need to relate your employment with your source of funds i.e. your resume will state how long you have been working, payslip and salary account.

Also did you add a letter of support from your hubby

Contact one of the guru. They will guide you on the way forward.

Where you able to show how your school fee and living expensive will be sorted out.

Sometimes , It is better to show for the total years of studies not just 1 year..

Ruthbella:

Thank you for your concern. I have my GCM note with me. The concern of the VO is insufficient fund.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by nifnifemi: 5:28pm On Jun 17, 2021
I am not a guru but with my little understanding of Canada immigration and VO assessment

Every lump sum needs verifiable explanation.

I wish you all the best.

Apply for GCMS to know better.

When did you apply?

Was the lump sum explained?

Also how active is the account you presented. Some times lump sum in an account that is not so active might raise eyebrows.

Ruthbella:
I was denied today based on insufficient fund and proposed course of study. And then a lump sum of 12,000 CAD in my personal account. My hubby is my sponsor and we have a fixed deposit account which we submitted. I want to reapply. Pls advise on how i can explain the concern of the VO. Thank you.

Switching courses with your level of experience will need realistic explanation.

Do you have any experience or certifications in anything programming related?

That should give you a soft landing with your explanation.

Olamiikunle:

To start with, i have HND in architecture.
However, even if not moving abroad, i dont intend to still practicing architecture.
If i may ask, is switching courses against any policy in the canada education entry path?
As for relation, i intend to come up with problem solving apps that aids architectural practices and site management.
Thanks.

My own opinion.

1: She can go for a PGD or MSC in Accounting , Finance or business related courses since she studied Education in Accounting.
Also the school must a DLI, in other for the student to be entitled for PGWP depending on the years of studies.

2: PGWP will determine the progress of her getting Permeant resident.
Scholarship in Canada is competitive ,It depends on the school, she might need GMAT OR GRE.

3: No cheap school in Canada. 3m will not be sufficient , that is about 7500 cad.
Every student is allowed to work for 20hrs a week. But the job will be paying minimum wage or little bit higher and that won't be sustainable to pay her school fee.

humblesifon:
Hello everyone,I'm new in this section, I've been reading the helpful tips posted by members of this forum and I'm so elated by it,keep up the good work and help will come to you whenever you need it at any point in your life.

Please I need a good advice,I'm about to get married and I intend making it low key and travelling with my wife after the marriage through study route with my wife as the applicant

Here is our profile.
1.I am 28 years old, chartered accountant currently working with a state government, pay is around 120k
2.My fiancee is a graduate of accounting education, she was the best graduating student with first class honours and currently with the bank and she's 25 years old, that's why I think she stand the best chance to land the study permit and probably with a scholarship from the school.
*Please* my question is;

1.What course will she study that will grant us permanent resident after the duration of study?

2.Which of the Canadian schools that will not require GMAT and IELTS that will grant permanent residence easily and consider scholarship?

3. Which of the Canadian schools is relatively cheap and she can get work as she's studying as we don't have much to spend at the moment
Please N/B budget is #3m for fees and logistics
Please your candid advice will be appreciated.

No body is saying is not possible.

But he is a matured applicant at least he should have some funds of his own.

Because it worked for you does not mean it will for every other person.

You are matured applicant, Which means you should be able to show some level of financial capability.

Having a sponsor is good but think about your sponsor other financial obligations .

ossysam1:
Good afternoon House,
I want to apply for study permit using my elder brother as my sponsor. He is 45years and 1am 40years. I have a BSc in Accounting (3.70/5) with over 8years banking experience. I was offered admission in Financial Planning (PGD)for Jan 2022.
I was shocked when someone told me that it will be difficult to get a study permit if I use my brother to serve as my sponsor. My elder brother is a business man.

Please I will appreciate if I can be properly guided so I would be sure I'm in the right direction both for the course and sponsorship.

Thank you.

Our timelines are the same.

I submitted only MBS after the NSE request and the MBS was acknowledged.

Just relax. If you have not done medical please go ahead and do it.

So you won't be having any other delay.

Till now I am still seeing this on my portal and eligibilty test hasn't started yet should I worry or just keep waiting on it?
