Natural disaster imminent in Nigeria - Adeboye
Written by Adewale Adebiyi
Sunday, March 7, 2010

UNLESS Nigerians sincerely seek the face of God, a natural disaster is imminent in the country
. The General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, had at the Special Holy Ghost Service for the month of March, warned Nigerians not to be non-chalant in their prayer lives as a natural disaster may soon occur in the country.

advertisement

Pastor Adeboye urged Nigerians on Friday to pray against natural disasters as several countries have been hit by earthquakes, landslides, rainstorms, etc in recent times.

"Earlier this year, there were prophesies that natural disasters would take place in some countries around the globe, what has happened in Haiti, Chile, Taiwan, France and Jerusalem has confirmed this.

"Recently, another one took place in Uganda, that means it is getting nearer. The present climatic condition is a clear signal that the natural disaster is gathering momentum unless we pray against it.

"Although I'm not a prophet, as a pastor, I hear when God speaks. If we do not pray fervently to avert this, Nigeria's turn of the disaster is very soon," he warned.

He advised those fond of dumping refuse in drainages to stop doing so, urging them to clear all debris to prevent flood and also pray against flooding.

Absolute rubbish. I expect much more from this man giving the 'respect' he commands.

When I watch his programmes on TV and it gets to the part where he says 'There is someone here today with a pain ain the right side of his head e.t.c.',,,,,,,. I am like Nigga pleaseeeeeee! What are the chances that there wouldnt be someone with a headache in such a large crowd and if there was no onewith any pain in the head we wouldnt even know. Those messages will be more credible if he could call out the names of the afflicted persons to come forward for deliverance.

Adeboye sees in spirit but you only see spirits when you are drunk with Gulder. The difference is clear.

Will the natural disaster claim more lives than the Jos crises? However, God save us.

Why has he convinetly kept qiuet as our nation goes to hell, The Prsidency has been personalised and bastardised, people just get up and kill others on their way from church, He should just not annoy me this monday morning

For once I welcome this prediction. While I do not believe in it, I somehow hope it comes through. You think am mad? Wait, hear me out.

Imagine a big disaster struck and kills about 10 million people, it will be go a long way in easing some of the problem in Nigeria. It is a well known fact that when a population goes beyond its limit or above sustainable growth, there are some natural disaster -disease [like black death ] - do play a part in keeping the figures in check. It will even be better if say about 50 million gets wiped out just like that. No I am not evil, just stating a scenario that may or may not happen. wink If 50 million people get wiped out and after the sorrow and what not, imagine the changes that will happen? There will be enough resources to go round than before etc.

Hmmmm, this prediction is welcome jare. grin

Pastor Eunuch Adejale Adebole personifies one of the greatest natural disasters ever to hit Nigeria, in that his church traffic has killed scores of road users on the highway he blocks for a full day every month, even as he assists Nigeria's most prolific treasury looters to launder their stolen wealth, all in the name of God.

Yes sir indeed, the predicted natural disaster has already hit Nigeria, and he flies about in a 19 million dollar Gulfstream 4 corporate jet.

I am sure he denied ownership. It was instead owned apparently by group of church-goers who felt their pastor should not be flying with ordinary people.

Oh yeah, right. I forgot that mega-thief claims to be a supernatural God-like being, or maybe he claims to be God Himself. It gets rather difficult to keep track of all those wild claims, as they come fast and furious.

uhm, always ready to challenge any man of God from Nigeria, but please wait oo, is there no men/women of God in Nigeria worth respecting when he or she talks? if yes, please state their names and if no, please explain why you decided to be the complaint, judge and the police.

Ha ha no chit. I wonder why that fat phuck can't just shut the hell up and keep on stealing.  One gets the impression that cheating folks out of their cash is never enough for these charlatans in Jesus robes.  The compulsion of those bible-thumpers to instill irrational fear is evidently just as strong as their need to get rich without breaking a sweat.

If he has, rational thinkers would definitely have zero interest in his opinion. The man is a kleptomaniac with blood on his hands, for phuck's sake.

Since you sleep with death, why not do us a favor by staying there with death, even if you don't live in Nigeria, you sure have relatives in Nigeria, don't you? you have indirectly stated that you want them dead and you don't give a hoot about them.

How? Well if they have to die for Nigeria to be better. I have no problem with that. If I have to die too for a Nigerian or two to better their lives, I have no issues with it. It is a cause worth dying for. grin

And in your mind, you think death in Nigeria would make Nigeria better eh? what about the riot we've been having all these while, in last 10 years, more than 200,000 are dead, has that changed anything? if you die or any of your relatives die, it has no effect on Nigeria because you have no say in what happens in Nigeria.

I guess Jesus had Jet or equivalent of a jet in his life time? I suppose Jesu wore the finest linen and designers during his life time? I suppose Jesus was literally stealing from the so called flock? No?

And did Jesus wear rag or walk on foot? do you remember that he rode a donkey into Jerusalem in the bible? so because he's a pastor, he should live in poverty? where do you people get the notion that a man of God should be poor?

One more thing, the more you type, the more sin you commit as a christian, didn't your bible tell you never to judge anyone? i bet you are just a christian by religion and nothing more.

Jesus was made poor so we his children be rich (hope u have read that in the bible before?) and one more thing, he hasn't forced anyone to pay tithe or pay offerings, if any pastor does that, you still don't have the right to judge him, if you must, then you should sue him to court or don't you know that can be done?

Yes. The death of about 50million people will at least wipe out some tribes or make them "severely endangered". It will mean we will be at a more manageable figure, lesser strain on resources, it will make us think harder and approach things with a different thinking. It worked for the Jews - some will argue their deaths in larg numbers have helped the nation of Israel in a lot of fronts - Be it technical, weaponry, science, space etc.

200000 in the last 10 years is nothing. Malaria kills more than that in a year.

When I said my relative, I am speaking of the orginal statement I made. Obviously, it is highly unlikely that their death alone will bring change, but if they have to die [including me] as part of a bigger picture, I have no problem with it. grin

Death is nothing and all this sensitivity is not addressing the issue.

i use to respect your posts and utterances until you acted like the typical dumb morons on NL to post such a disrespectful piece above.
Any way i can see that you are gradually coming out of your shell and we can all see the kind of nasty wolf behind the sheep clothing.
How dare you say such to a Man of God. undecided

When it comes to such sensitive spiritual issues, I know better than to be ranting like most posters here are already doing. As per the pending Natural Disaster,I know that it is well and God will see us through.  wink

Stop dreaming Mr man, even if any natural disaster is to happen in Nigeria, it's surely not going to be in the north, very few natural disaster can happen in the night (wildwind), the most hit would be the west and the south, so are these set the problem of Nigeria? remember how many people died in the old soviet union in the ww1, ww11, did it make them better? who told you Israel now is better? is it because they're getting sympathy votes from other countries, you know term them to be better than before?

No Jesus never wore rag, neither did he wore a designer either. [He never wore the finest robes that is]

His riding of a donkey into Jerusalem was of a significant purpose. Donkey is seen as a sign of modesty etc. If he had rode on a horse, perhaps you may have a point as Horse represent power, respect etc.

I never said he should be poor, he should not be filthy rich either. A private jet cost millions of naira to maintain a year, where does that money comes from? From poor gullible souls who give a tenth of their earnings and sunday contributions in the hope of fulfilling the words of God.

I have a right to Judge him. I am not one of "your people". I will have opinion on anyone and anything. It is what makes me ElRazur, it is what makes me human.

No Jesus died on the cross so that you can have eternal life. This do not translate to wordly riches like Adeboye seem to have amass.

Finally, I am not one of your people. I am a man of Science. I do not have to sue him, for me to have an opinion of him. Do you have problem with this?

Who says anything about the north? It could be any tribe. Please do not make assumptions.

Again, please look up on the human world wide population figures before the world wars. It goes with what I stated before, when a population reaches an optimum size, some of it will have to die off, be it from war, natural disaster etc. This is a well known fact. The world population peaked just before the two world wars. Fact.

You really are moving into something else. In the context I used Israel as an example, it is correct. Heck, one can argue Israel is better developed than Nigeria.

Next point please and don't bore me this time. grin
