In addition to being impossible, it is also unnecessary and ineffective. A change process driven by the elite themselves rather than the common man will be far more effective. For example, check out this thread:

(Oba Of Benin Expels Minister Over Neglect Of Benin-Ore-Lagos Express Road)

Imagine if majority of our traditional rulers, ministers, private investors and other educated well meaning Nigerians put some effort within their own circle of influence to cause change. I think it will be more effective that way. More localized efforts rather than a national movement seems more realistic in Nigeria. The way Nigeria is structured, the Egypt type revolution is a mirage.

Impossible? Nothing is impossible in this world. Revolution can come through the streets or through the ballot box. PDP is a worse dictatorship than Mubarak, Gaddafi and Mugabe put together.

people act like the government is a seperate entity from the people, the government is the people, because it is made up of the people. Sometimes i wonder if many nigerians who complain would not be just as corrupt as the people they complain about.

corruption has saturated nigerian culture, police take bribes, teachers take bribes, 419, etc, etc, the only why to fix corruption is to fix the culture, and we must start with ourselves.

Yes, it is not possible in Nigeria because the ruling elite have managed to selfishly separate us into our ethnic groups, so that anything that happens in Nigeria would be viewed from ethnic identity and interest rather than the collective interest and desire of the people?
