nothing pass cannibalism!!! and worse,it is "inspired cannibalism" looks like "plappville" is nervous and i have touched on her nerves!!! |
Re: Cannibalism In The Bible! by LagosShia: 11:50am On Jan 25, 2012 |
plappville: this is in the bible, see!!!: Death to the Ra.pe Victim (Deuteronomy 22:23-24 NAB) [size=14pt]"If within the city a man comes upon a maiden who is betrothed, and has relations with her, you shall bring them both out of the gate of the city and there stone them to death: the girl because she did not cry out for help though she was in the city, and the man because he violated his neighbors wife". Re: Cannibalism In The Bible! by goggs(m): 8:04am On Jan 26, 2012 |
there is a difference between "cannibalism in the Bible" and Cannibalism sanctioned in Bible. Cannibalism is NOT sanctioned in the Bible. Being a Book of Historical accounts it records actions of men of even the worst kinds. It also gives an insight why the action took place, punishments for them or how God intervened. An Islamic perspective cannot be used to understand the Bible. The parts cannot be taken in isolation unless one is being mischievous. |

goggs: True, but some christian brothers are notorious in doing that to the Quran, |
Re: Cannibalism In The Bible! by LagosShia: 10:32am On Jan 26, 2012 |
tbaba1234: brother, that is not even the case here.you have verses in the bible where God is saying :"you will eat the flesh of your sons and daughter" (the verse in Jeremiah).see also: Ezekiel 5:10 Therefore in your midst fathers will eat their children, and children will eat their fathers. I will inflict punishment on you and will scatter all your survivors to the winds. regardless,if this was meant to be punishment,a few instances show that the bible god made people to do it to make them suffer. other instances like they will eat their flesh out of famine and the enemy,is understable that it was circumstance.even yet, that is so evil for those who claim to love God and obey His commandments to do because of hunger.do you know what eating another man's flesh means?you will kill your own relative and skin him and then eat his flesh.what sort of morality is this? if the verse would have told us that they died from hunger and they resisted temptation and refused to eat themselves,we could understand we are being taught patience.but what is the bible god teaching us by telling us that if there is famine people ate themselves?is that not justification for cannibalism?even if he didn't authorize it in that circumstance,it should not be justified.would you eat your child if there is famine?why dont christians get real? we are told in Islam, that when Quraysh persecuted the muslims and supplies were cut from them to cause them suffering, they used to boil leather and eat the leaf from trees.why didn't the early muslims who were severely persecuted in the days of the Prophet Muhammad (sa) eat themselves? any christian fool that comes into this thread trying to put a defense when the bible verses are glaring and immoral should go to a psychiatric and examined his head properly.instead of admitting how ashamed they feel, they are playing with words deceiving themselves because they can't deceive us. |

Last time i checked, the bible frowns greatly on it's misinterpretation. The poster is clearly showing that the bible supports cannibalism (among-st other unprintable abominations) and the sheeple are doing their feeble best twist the scriptures out of context. The verses are clearly written in English, you can all read so what's the problem? Let me guess. . . The poster needs "special anointing" OR "spiritual eyes" to understand the straight forward verses that has been twisted by your "men of god" and spoon fed to you abi? See dem. . .Mumu sheeple. @LagosShia Keep it coming jare. |

thank you jare! |
Re: Cannibalism In The Bible! by goggs(m): 5:35pm On Jan 26, 2012 |
tbaba1234: @tbaba Then quote the entire verse or verses so everyone can see. at least he or she may not admit it but they would have learnt and so also others. you have done that on your thread [questions for Muslims] with very good results. You know what I mean. |
Re: Cannibalism In The Bible! by goggs(m): 5:59pm On Jan 26, 2012 |
LagosShia: again reading the entire chapter will give an insight. since you are unlikely let me tell others who will want to know that this statement is to portray the extent of suffering these people will undergo as punishment. the next question is did they actually EAT each other?of course not. I will want to see the verse if its so. its like saying to someone "you will be so punished you wish you were not born". The statement is to convey the severity of the punishment. it doesn't mean the person receiving the punishment must actually wish that on him or herself before the punishment will be deemed served. its so simple really. |
Re: Cannibalism In The Bible! by Joagbaje(m): 8:52pm On Jan 26, 2012 |
Leave lagosshia o he seems to read the bible upside down. You're right. It was punishment . It's an expression of the degree if punishment if they disobey God. God had told them I set before you life and death , but choose life. He also said in that chapter , if you harken to my voice these blessings shall follow you bla bla bla. . But if you disobey , these curses shall follow you ,. . Enemies shall rule over you, they will take your possession to the point you will eat your children. He gave them a choice and condition |
Re: Cannibalism In The Bible! by LagosShia: 11:14pm On Jan 26, 2012 |
goggs: yes it is very simple:the christian god is punishing sinners by making them eat their flesh!!! i dont care if their sinners. cannibalism is when one human being eats another, period.so regardless whether those eating themselves are sinners or righteous people, cannibalism is cannibalism.cannibalism is immoral and God making people to do that is just not explainable. |

LagosShia: Can you show us in the bible where folks actually ate each other? Looks like you are just as illiterate as mohamad. |

LagosShia: when are you heading off to your own cave of hira to foam in the mouth, seized with terror and dashed against rocks? Dont worry, i'll be your waraqah. |

davidylan: You lost me here , kindly provide me with a one sentence educative summary of this waraqah ! |
Re: Cannibalism In The Bible! by Nobody: 11:33pm On Jan 26, 2012 |
frosbel: That was a brief description of the experience of mohammad when he allegedly recieved the first "revelation". Waraqah was an older relative of Khadijah (mohammad's wife at the time) who was an ebionite christian. while mohammad originally thought he had been tormented by demons (he was probably right), waraqah told him he had been visited by angel gabriel. and thus the lie that is islam was born. |

davidylan: A frightening thought !! |
Re: Cannibalism In The Bible! by Nobody: 11:51pm On Jan 26, 2012 |
frosbel: you should read the story. Mohammad himself was so frightened he was screaming to be covered by his wife's wrapper. |
Re: Cannibalism In The Bible! by LagosShia: 11:52pm On Jan 26, 2012 |
davidylan: so you are implicitly saying that christians promotes falsehood and you are no different from Waraqah? you can keep living in denial. davidylan: that is actually a sunni myth or narration of events about how fantastically even a christian came to identify with the prophethood of Muhammad (sa) making an innocent mistake that the Prophet (sa) was in the process unaware of his mission and title. that is wrong.the Prophet (sa) did not become a prophet at 40 years old or when the revelation started to come and he was commissioned to preach.Muhammad (sa) like all prophets are born prophets and then they were commissioned to start preaching.lest you forget and twist my words in ignorance,i should likewise remind you that Jesus commenced his ministry while he was 30 years old according to christian belief.he preached for 3 years before he was chased away and God took him up.and he too never knew he could use his brewing talent to send people into prophetic drunkenness by turning water into wine when he was a kid.someone had to give him the nod.also, lest i forget,hJesus is reported too not to know the season and cursing a fig tree for not bearing fruit.that is according to bible fairytales on Jesus similar to the sunni one on Muhammad (sa).but when you check the Holy Quran in the chapter of Mary, you find that Jesus was a prophet since birth and he even performed a miracle in defending his mother from the accusation of the jews who accused her of adultery. |
Re: Cannibalism In The Bible! by LagosShia: 11:55pm On Jan 26, 2012 |
frosbel: davidylan: christians are good in excelling in nonsense, blindness and ignorance.you think you got the catch in getting back at the muslims and avoidng the biblical cannibalism that stares into your shameless eyes. let me tell you this you stu.pid christian missionary, there is no accusation you animals and false preachers can coin or imagine against Muhammad (sa) the man greatest to have stepped foot on this earth, thanks to the sole of his feet this earth is blessed, without a convincing explanation based on accurate info agreeable with history and reason.my 2 cents!dont try and fail and get humiliated by a Shia-Muslim! |

Re: Cannibalism In The Bible! by Nobody: 11:57pm On Jan 26, 2012 |
LagosShia: Exactly what part of the earth did mohammad's foot "bless"? Pakistan, Libya, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Somalia, Sudan, Kuwait? Oh you mean christian Europe and the US? Thank God mohammad was prevented from setting his accursed feet there. We would be just as poor, violent and illiterate as his slaves. |
Re: Cannibalism In The Bible! by Nobody: 11:57pm On Jan 26, 2012 |
LagosShia: you sound very angry. are you ok? Do you need water? |
Re: Cannibalism In The Bible! by LagosShia: 11:59pm On Jan 26, 2012 |
frosbel: davidylan: you see your life of ignorance? i was only quoting the bible and "frosbel" is using sacarsm while the other is asking me if i need water.no it is Peter that needed water.see here: 2 Peter 2:12 "These false teachers are like unthinking animals, creatures of instinct, born to be caught and destroyed. They scoff at things they do not understand, and like animals, they will be destroyed." |

Re: Cannibalism In The Bible! by LagosShia: 12:02am On Jan 27, 2012 |
davidylan: what you are citing has to do with this: Luke 12:49 "I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! |
Re: Cannibalism In The Bible! by LagosShia: 12:03am On Jan 27, 2012 |
frosbel: rest be assured i wont be bribed with human flesh! so i will never be like what your bible wants me to be:a cannibal! |
Re: Cannibalism In The Bible! by Nobody: 12:03am On Jan 27, 2012 |
LagosShia: Well Christ was certainly not talking about physical fire there my friend. and if anything, christian countries seem to be doing quite fine . . . did allah promise to kindle fire among his slaves too? they seem to be killing themselves a lot lately. |
Re: Cannibalism In The Bible! by LagosShia: 12:07am On Jan 27, 2012 |
davidylan: i think the reality can be either of two: 1.) those you describe as "christian countries" are not following the fire Jesus kindled and the muslims are or 2.) the fire burning in muslim countries is due to the fire kindled by the "christian countries".afterall alqaeda was a christian tool created by your "christian country" to fight communist USSR which is a majority christian nation in afghanistan. so the fire indeed is physical and its burning!!! |
