Never again shall Ndigbo be manipulated by IPOB/PDP fake news to rally behind a fraudster. If Nnamdi Kanu cannot survive small detention in prison, then he no business championing a secessionist movement.

If Mandela could survive almost 3 decades in prison to racist apartheid government, then Nnamdi Kanu should consider Nigerian prison as a chilling room. Why? Because he’s in safe hands as the Presidency is conscious about keeping him well and healthy until his trial.

IPOB should be careful of their utterances as no one is falling for it anymore, not Igbo elites, not Ohaneze and not Igbo intelligentsia. They should stay clear from political manipulations by failed politicians who want to use them to return back to power. At the appropriate time, we’ll ask the federal government to consider lightening his sentence to patrol and possibly rehabilitate both him and his IPOB followers.

Let me state here that IPOB does not represent Ndigbo. Nnamdi Kanu’s cause should be separated from the aspirations of Ndigbo. Ndigbo have table their request in several national conferences, and will keep following the armbit of legality to fight for a just and egalitarian Nigeria where all tribes are treated equal.
